hey I just didn't understand one thing about the photography studio: did you create one or do we have to build one or get it from the gallery? if you built one, where can I find it? I got a message telling me to go to the studio at 8pm twice already and he said he'd text me the address. except he never did and I don't know where to find the studio

English isn't my native language, thus using pics might be easy for you to understand.

 

There are two premade studios; Photo&Co is cc-free and available on the download page,

 

the other "MagicLight" is on creator's website, where you can access there by the hyperlink on the front page.

 

Ensure to active bb.moveobjects before placing any of it, otherwise the receptionist didn't show up at my end. 

 

 

You can also build one on your own.

 

fulfill the requirements and ensure there is one well-functioning computer on the front desk.

 

In this way, either studio is supposed to work well.

After setting up the studio, there will be a further message around 7 pm.

It might be better to visit the studio first before accepting these invitations, because spawning NPCs takes time and stands in your way to complete missions.

How Do I Make my Custom Career Compatible?
 

It's actually pretty simple. Use Sims 4 Studio and go into the core career xml file in the mod package, such as careers_Adult_SocialMedia and then do these two things.

1. Change the work category element found towards the top of the xml code, as pictured below, from Work to AdultPartTime .



2. Change the section found towards the bottom of the xml code, as pictured below, by changing Can_Quit to Cannot_Quit and then deleting everything after the first line up to the last V closing tag, such that you are left only with the first line.



If you do these steps right, any career you use should work perfectly with this mod.

Are you planning any integration with Wicked Perversions?

 

 I'm thinking, specifically, making it so that some of the gifts from fans could be cups o' cum. Maybe the nail polish? 

 

 (Though, lbh, it'd be really awesome to have some prostitution features. Like offers to get big payouts to fuck fans.)

 

 Not that I know how feasible any of that is, it'd just be great to have it.

Is there anyway to upload videos recorded with the Vivux 3000 camera to AdultWorld without having a videostation on your home lot? My sims live off the grid and don't use any electricity, so I created a separate lot which is basically an amateur porn studio with cameras and a videostation for them to use. I was able to record a video as intended, but I can't seem to do anything with it. The only options available when clicking on the video are either to delete it, rename it, or an instruction telling me to travel to my home lot to transfer it to a videostation. It doesn't seem like there's any option for me to use the workstation at the porn studio lot. Is there any workaround for this?

 

Edit: I managed to figure out a workaround. I used Sims 4 Studio to edit the videostation to make it portable. Then I purchased it on my home lot, put it in my inventory and then took it to the "porn studio" lot. This still didn't work (your mod was still telling me to travel home to transfer the video to a videostation), so I opened up your mod in S4S and removed the following from a few "interaction tuning" entries related to transferring videos:

Hello I have a question... I installed the studio and the mod, but its normal than you can't follow your sim to the work?

 

When its time for the sim to go, she leaves the lot and I need wait until she comes back... 

 

The studio venue its okay and I used bb.moveobjects cheat to put the studio, I have all dlc, and everything up to date (just in case)

The 'record at home' limitation is hard to live with. A wedding event on a random lot may produce HQ video material which can not be edited.

Also the smartphone can not be used to record scenes in the wild, 'Wicked > Watch sex' exists already, '> Record sex' (short/poor quality or amateur) would be a nice addition.

 

Hopefully you like the idea and a future version supports more recording options and a way to transfer the videos to the inventory / between sims. Or even to watch them on the smartphone.

 

I just read about mod creation and while it could be easy it is hard work. I'd need some hours/days to add just one useful interaction ...

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but the Vivux 3000 camera is not recording anything and I can't turn it off after my toon has turned it on (which is probably why it's "not recording anything").

 

I tried uninstalling saving and the reinstalling the mod but that had no effect.

 

I am using the most recent version of the mod as well.

 

The older version of this mod worked fine so I'm really not sure what's going on with this one.

Downgrading to mod version 4.0.0с makes the issue go away.

 

I'm going to try updating the mod again and see if that changes anything or yields the same results.

Well, I didn't do anything to test it.

I only placed that mod and tried to have multiple careers.

And at least it worked for me without doing anything.

But, that doesn't guarantee that every careers will works with that mod.

At least for me, this mod worked.

Nope that had no affect (not that I find that surprising), upgrading from 4.0.0c to the newest version of AEP only brought back the non working camera issue I described earlier.

 

Something has changed since 4.0.0c, not sure what that might be but whatever it seems to be causing issues, at least for me it is.

Hey! I'm sorry to hear you have an issue. It's weird since nothing major was changed in the mod at all, including recording system. Version 4.2.1a is causing problem right? Is your game updated to the latest version? Are sure there is no duplicate old files of AEP? Try to delete localthumcash file.

Yes, I am using the latest version of the game and yes the version of the mod I was updating to was 4.2.1a. Where is the localthumcash file located? I looked through my mods folder and I didn't see any duplicate files from older versions of this mod.

 

Are there any mods that might conflict with this one if they were not updated?

Still wondering about the career track. It doesn't seem to acknowledge the reward traits and perks that allow a sim to start a career further up the ladder. Everyone starts as webcam model no matter what.

documents/electronic arts/the sims 4  is where it is located
