No dice on deleting the localthumcash file. I still get the same bug with the most current version after doing that.

 

It's weird, my sim will go through the remote "on" animation to turn the camera on, finish what she's doing, and then go to turn off the camera but instead of the remote animation playing through fully my character will start, go into a T pose for a split second, and then completely skip over turning the camera off (I guess) so that there is no film saved in the camera and it is still "rolling" with the +3 flirtation buff and everything. The only way to interrupt it is to close the game to desk top or to the main menu.

@Ksuihuh Could you help me with something? I wanted to tweak your mod a bit for my own personal use and lower the amount of money sims make from uploading homemade porn videos to AdultWorld (I just found the amount a bit too generous and prefer my sims to be poor).

 

Looking at your mod in S4S, I found the royalty tuning entry entitled "ksuihuh_royalty_SexVideoAEP_Recording" which seems to control the pay rate. There are sections for payment multipliers depending on the quality of the video which are pretty easy to understand and edit. The bit I don't understand is the following section entitled "pay curve":

I don't really understand what these numbers mean in relation to the amount of money you make per video. Could you explain to me what the "x" and "y" figures mean, and why there are 4 different sets of numbers.

 

Sorry if this is a bit of an annoying question, I just have a habit of trying to tweak other people's mods so that they fit my game and playstyle.

 Maybe try the game with only AEP and WW and see if it fixes this. It might conflict with something. The issue you have is common for people who don't have GetFamous pack, but you have it as I understand, so... I would look for conflicting mod.

Hi! Honestly, I'm not sure myself. I can say that the curve it's literaly the curve of your Sim's earnings,diapason if you wish. Like in this picture. I think both of them correlate with amount of money, but I would advise to change one function at a time and maybe leave this fucntion without a change for a start. Just to have a lowest point of reference.

Sorry, I'm not good with math?I always just experiment with this things. Just change a few numbers and see what it will do for royalties.

I really enjoy your mod. Very good work. And it works well, getting fan mail and such.
But, when my Sim does a live show she does not undress or gets compliments for her show.
I once looked at a youtuber which used your mod and the Sim from her got undressed and did get compliments from her subs.

Am I doing something wrong here?

More on the topic of the issue I've been having thoug I won't be able to try anything until I get home. I wonder if my game files got corrupted somehow, is that even possible?

That is very possible. Harddrives can be very sensitive. However if that is the case, I seem to remember reading somewhere that EA had some tool or guide to repair the installation. Maybe somebody else in here know more or can tell me that I've been dreaming it up ?.

I have a suggestion for the mod, that being fans showing up at your house. The idea being that some of your fans might be sims local to the area and may recognize who you are, from there it could be up to the player as to how to deal with them, be rude and send them away (threaten to contact the authorities), invite them inside to spend time with them (could often lead to propositions for sex or a private show with gifts or money reward), or sell them some underwear, so on and so forth the possibilities are numerous.

You might wanna recover your Save or even try a new one. Yes, the new animation made by Chimochicchi wil be avalibele in the new updates. And yes, I like this idea, I was asked about something like that before and I will implement  some kind of fan interactions like these in the future.

I would also add another feature to this could be an option to wear a mask during your cam shows (I'm envisioning something along the lines of a masquerade style mask if some kind of visual representation is possible) which could give a decreased chance of getting under age b& and keep fans from showing up at your house or talking to you in the public world space (as they wouldn't be able to recognize who you were).

I got everything working. I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it then moved the tray and save files over to the newly generated EA folder in Documents now everything seems to be working fine.

 

Not sure what the issue was but it's working now.

Hmmm....the only other solution is to keep the mods you know are compatible with the latest version of sims 4 and remove the others....if that works you can add a mod back one at a time and test the game.....remember you need to delete localthumbcache.pkg file each time you add or delete cc or mods......
