Deviously Cursed Loot SE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

Found that haven't triggered any cursed loot for a long time, set chance to 100% and minimum arousal to 0, it says i triggered but still nothing happens (i did wait for several seconds

I do get random keys and lucky charms from loots, but no devious thing happens at all (i may sound like , you know

Edit: fixed, i saw the line in doc where it says all bad thing stops when an quest is active. finished leon's quest, everything backs to normal

if I select [Rubber Commercial] in the dollmaker dialog, I get the catsuit but it does not start a quest, is this normal?

 
And if no, does anyone know the id of the quest that should be started?

If you're want the Rubber Doll quest, you're in the wrong area. The Rubber Doll quest is started by either Cursed Loot Event (Percent chance set in MCM), or by a dialogue option talking with Farengar after the mission "Dragon Rising" (and at least level 10 I think). The dialogue deals with an experiment he's working on.

This is by far one of the best mods I have ever downloaded for skyrim, with many times more features compared to other LL mods, hope to see this mod continue being updated.

Some feedback: When I first downloaded this mod, I had no idea what it was, and I couldn't understand sh*t. Couldn't even complete any quests without coming back to read the description page. All the dozens of options in MCM also seemed overwhelming, as I couldn't understand half of them, and still can't, so I decided to just leave them by default. One suggestion from me is to implement difficulty presets, if that is possible, I'm not sure how difficult that might be as I've never seen them in another mod, really could help save quite a lot of time reading everything in the MCM, coming back to mod description page for more info, and going back in to change options because a quest is too difficult,

Got all of the requirements on their newest version, but it crashes as soon as I enter the dollmaker's shop. Other stuff seems to work fine so far.
Logfile is literally empty.

Did anyone triggled 3,4,5P scene when being rapped? I have required animations and enabled 5p in MCM. Always get raped multiple times in a row if there are several npcs around.

It really frustrates me.

Thanks for the response! Yeah, I tried making a similar patch as you, but when I tested it something seemed off. For one thing, at least some of the purported fixes weren't working (my test: yokes still weren't getting removed via the "Courier in Chains" quest), and additionally upon starting a new game via LAL my PC would instantly gain a level when the upgrade patch was ticked in MO. I decided snooping for bugs wasn't worth it and just left DCL at 7.1, manually fixing the problems I care about as I play.

 

In general, I would say DCL 7.1 works pretty well with SE, but I do keep having bugs with most of the quests in one way or another. Things like the Belt of Shame/Yoke of Shame not unlocking after their time is up, and most recently a couple issues with the Jack the Belter quest (duplicate belt added to inventory, broken sex attacks while Jack's belt is equipped). Certainly it could just be my install, but I've decided that most problems seem manageable within the game just by snooping in the script code for global variables to manipulate.

 

So I would just charge ahead with DCL 7.1 and play for now; I don't think a bug-free install is in the cards for now, but things should play okay regardless.

Small question regarding the formula. Specifically, when do the object (common, ornate, trap,...) modifiers apply? From what I gathered it's either:

A) FinalChance = [MOD * BaseChance * (1 - ArousalWeight)] + [Modified Arousal * ArousalWeight]

or

B) FinalChance =  MOD * {[BaseChance * (1 - ArousalWeight)] + [Modified Arousal * ArousalWeight]}

 

Secondly, is there a consensus whether one should use Deviously Helpless/Devious Captures/SexLab Defeat over Cursed Loot's similar built-in features?

Hi (i apologize for my accounts dreadful name) i appreciate what you have done here however i am encountering a black face issue for all cursed loot SE characters. As far as i can tell there are no conflicting mods that is causing this and i have spent the past 2 hours trying to fix this. With the exception of the black face issue for the characters i have not encountered any other issues the game is really stable. I was just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this? I tried to follow some guides but there are no mods that conflict that the guides expect for these characters.

Has anyone had a problem where completing the Leon quest line causes traveling to Whiterun to CTD? It seems to be specific to this quest line. It occurs on an existing save as well as a completely new save. The new save was tested with only Devious Cursed Loot and dependancy mods being loaded. Also, to confirm there is no passive conflicts, the Data directory was deleted and re-downloaded from Steam prior to testing with the new save.

 

It does not seem to be related to any scripts, as cleaning the save file does nothing to resolve the problem. If I completely remove the mod from loading, then re-save, and reenable the mod, the problem disappears. (while resetting Leon to the beginning).

This is a known issue on the LE topic for cursed loot, and there should be a workaround in there somewhere. I'm not sure if it was fixed yet, I don't think so.  Just doing a normal export of the facegen files from the CK hasn't fixed it for me like it usually does.

Haven't seen this reported on the LE thread. Do you have the ddhotfix installed?

The creation kit for SE.  You download it through the bethesda launcher. Resaving the esp is a step that can be skipped. It's recommended to do it, but not always necessary.

Well for DCL 7.2 resaving it wrecks some of the dialoglines.. so be careful with that.

Thank you for informing me. I guess ill just have to wait for a fix. 

 

Edit 1#New bug? Game Crashes to desktop whenever i go near Dawnstar. ? will start again/go back to earlier saves to see if its an error with some weird interaction i did or mod issue. 

Edit 2# Ok so i started 1 of the earlier saves traveled there all good. A new bug i found is that sometimes you get double the amount of D.A.M.N boxes when you are using them. Which turns out to be very op when you buy 10 and set a macro to open them and when i come back i got over 260k of them.
