I'm having an issue with the Bound Queen quest.

So I deinstalled the mod and reinstalled it after having multiple issues with it (I posted my last issue on LE version - silly me ?).  Right now I'm doing "Bound in Skyrim" questline.

During "Bound Queen", when I'm sent to Nightgate inn, I get CTD no matter what I do (fast travel, walk, coc into the cell).

I would provide logs, but I don't know how ?

Also, I was a complete idiot and didn't create saves after each part of the key, but everything was running smoothly and I wasn't expecting it to break so completely :(

Another thing: I'm using a mark/recall spell from Naruto mod, so maybe that caused some issue.

Any and all help will be very much appreciated ❤️

 

Never heard of that crash on either version, so it's more likely to be one of your other mods editing that area or a conflict between this mod and another.

We'll need the netscriptframework crash log as Elsidia mentioned.

That's too bad, because I really wanted to try out this mod. I'll try tinkering with it :)

I already organised the load order with LOOT and cleaned the files with SSE Edit Ouick Auto-Clean, I'll try Wrye Bash and report back. Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it ;)

 

Update: Wrye Bash and disabling Dawnguard arsenal didn't solve the issue, As soon as the quest updates and animation starts with Nightgate Innkeeper the game crashes. I'm attaching the log

Off-topic, but is really necessary clean Skyrim SE DLC esp with SSE edit? It helps to make stable or it can make more unstable Skyrim?

The same: immersive creatures pack. Not disabled.

Try disable it or change MMC of this mod as zarantha say and try again.

If not CTD, try restore dawnguard arsenal. Maybe it's not guilty, but creature mod.

 

UPD: If you disable this mod, you need rebuild fnis - as i suspect by name this mod contains animations.

If you have nifskope on your system, you could check meshes for facegendata folders to see if any mod didn't convert the meshes to BSDynamicTriShape or BSTriShape.

if you find mods with NiTriShape meshes, use SSE Nif Optimizer on mod folder.

 

I find a LOT of mods that edit NPC and are supposedly SE compatible skip the head parts.

 

earlier versions of Cathedral Assets Optimizer would "destripify" NiTriShapes, but leave them in NiTriShape format. Not animating mouth and eye parts properly.

Still looks pretty much the same.

 

  1. Did you regenerate the facegen for those two npcs?
  2. Load up you're entire load order in xedit. Look for those two NPCs in dawnguard. Is anything overwriting them?
  3. Did you disable additional spawns in the Immersive Creatures MCM?
    Cell reset instructions for Immersive Creatures in on the last page of the MCM, if I remember correctly.
  4. Have you rerun FNIS? Any errors in FNIS?

 

Edit: Follow the instructions here to redo facegen. Select all mods that modify NPCs and their appearance, you don't have to set a mod as active though. just say no on that pop up.

Can you try on a new game with only DCL and it's requirements? Make sure to stay away from Helgen so Chloe doesn't start.

 

I disabled all other mods than those which DCL needed, and still no results. I did a pure new save file, exited helgen the normal way, coc'd myself out of it after chloe quest, and before the quest. Pretty much any hardcore type of gear isn't appearing, only small cuffs, collars and corsets are actually put on during the events. The rubber suit, the transparent catsuit and the ultra tight straitjacket definitely do not work.

Well, I did all of that (I'm 100% I did something wrong, wasn't familiar with Face regenerating) and the issue persisted. As soon as I waited to reset cells with Immersive Creatures my game crashed. Then I simply disabled Immersive Creatures and Immersive Patrols and just like that, the issue disappeared. 
 

So in summary:

the only thing that was overwritten were some perks and armor for Isran and Celean, no face edits

Done that, as soon as I waited 12h to process reseting cells  my game crashed

Nothing solved the issue, booting Immersive Creatures and Immersive Patrols did :)

Use LAL to use a start other than helgen. We don't want the chloe quest to start, because that quest will not allow traps while it's running. At least, I've never gotten a trap while it's running. You also need to be above a certain level, i think the default is now 3.

 

So either finish the chloe quest before testing (take her all the way up to the dollmaker, finish one more quest with her, then drop her and don't start the next quest) or don't go to helgen at all.

When you enable it again, make sure additional spawns are disabled from the start, or try running it through CAO. that will unpack the bsa, optimize the meshes and repack it for you.

There was something about editing the ai packages for the pups too, but I can't find that again.

@zarantha, @Azazel92, @judge007, i just was curious, download Immersive creatures, repack a bsa and CAO there found illegal facegen data. Seems before uses this mod you need repack bsa and run trough CAO. I do it before your post, because seems you really need use CAO if you want play this mod.

Depend on Cursed loot MCM default level is 1. There can change a minimal level in MCM. But maybe i wrong and also in script seems it's disabled level 3 requirement (by using ; symbol)

Like I said earlier, a lot of mods ship that way.

Worse you can't count on CAO, it misses meshes on occasion.

I run all mods through SSE Nif Optimizer first, and use the batch file + HavokPostProcessor from Creation Kit for any animations.

Then I use CAO, saves a lot of headache trying to find what it missed later on.

I tried to do it without the helgen part, and did on one other save file which had the chloe quest(s) done. Neither worked, and when i use a chest that has any suit, even chloe as a follower doesnt wear the set.

 

Is there any way to try to reset the mod without the MCM feature, as in downloading everything again?

Or is there anything else left to try?

Screenshot the mcm settings (general, events, devices, and debug) and attach a papyrus log after opening the chest.
