Laura's Bondage Shop v3.43 11-dec-2023

v3.43 also has an SE version provided by tznvlw.

v3.42 now also has a Russian translation provided by stas2503. Both for LE and SE.

v3.42 now also has a Chinese translation provided by AmicusMyWolf for SE.

Description:
Laura's Bondage Shop sells a wide variety of Devious Devices. She also sells Restraints Keys, Chastity keys, Piercing Removal Tools and offers all kinds of services a kinky adventurer might need.

It also comes with 5-6 hours worth of story quests and repeatable quests that will almost never play out the same.

This mod will not lock you in devices for a long time without your consent. I want the shop to be a safe place for the kinky adventurer.

All sex in this mod is optional. There's no sex with your character without your consent.

Installation:
Use a Mod Manager or manually drop the contents of the zip in Skyrim's Data folder.

Requirements: (All requirements are the latest versions as of 27-sept-2021)
SexLab Animation Framework v1.62
SexLab Aroused Redux
Devious Devices LE 5.1
Fuz Ro D-oh V61
SkyUI V5.1
And obviously also the requirements those above need

Repeatable quests:

Seeking The Curse

It is no secret that there are many cursed restraints in Skyrim. Those restraints feed on the horny and kinky thoughts of the person that finds them.
Some restraints are in the hands of people unaffected by the curse and some of those restraints are still sitting in chests waiting for the right person to find them.
Laura has met some friends and associates in her travels that are now helping her to find those restraint so she can sell them.
She now owns a shop and doesn't have much time to get them herself. So you can now help Laura by retrieving those restraints for her.

This quest has many random branches to make sure that it's never plays out the same. Like having the game select a random existing container and the possibility of them being split between 2 to 3 locations.
The way some of the random branches are calculated can be changed in the MCM.

This is a repeatable job that unlocks after you completed the [A Strange Rock] quest.
You can start it by asking "Is there something I can do for you?" and then choosing the option: "I want to help gather restraints".

On The Clock
Business is good, but not every customer has the time to visit the shop. So you can now do deliveries for them.
You'll be tasked with finding the customer and then delivering the package.

There are opportunities to earn some extra gold if you're willing to accept extra restraints or if you're feeling slutty.

This is a repeatable job that unlocks after you completed the [A Good Fit] quest.

Locked Away

Laura is willing to give you money if wear a chastity belt for her.

She will pay you for everyday you wear it and give you extra when you wear a plug, but she will only release you when you've worn it long enough.

You can choose which plug you want to wear, including the 2 custom plugs: Laura's Teaser and Laura's Pleasurer.

The daily reward and how long you have to wear it can be changed in the MCM.

This quest can lock you in a chastity belt for a long time. Make sure that you look at the MCM settings for this quests before you start it.

Wearing the belt from [Locked Away] will not block access to the rest of the quests from my mod.

Conflicts:
This mod places the shop south of the Whiterun Stables. It could cause issues with others mods that place something in the same spot.
Please report any conflicts you find.

Change Log:

Changelog for version 3.43:

Changed: [Taking Control] The letter in the inn is now less hidden. It now also hints to which bridge it's referring to.
As suggested by everyone. :P

Changed: I changed some of the dialogue in the [A Good Fit] quest.
In the last big update I went through all story quests and adjusted it but I forgot the other quests.

Fixed: The prices for the furniture keys didn't work properly in the MCM. This should be fixed.
As reported by slicksly.

Fixed: [Taking Control] Fixed an error in the code that could cause it to fail to unlock a gag.
Thanks to krzp for finding it.

Changelog for version 3.42:

Fixed: [A Familiar Face & Taking Control] These quests had parts where fast travel was disabled but the code was shit so it sometimes wasn't disabled.
It now properly disables fast travel when needed, which solves bugs that were caused by timing issues.
Thanks to IBAGadget for the feedback.

Changed: [Taking Control] The clue on the stool by the lake isn't right next to a rock anymore.
It wasn't clearly visible from a distance and it was pretty much hidden when you approached from the other side. I should stand out a bit more.

Changed: [Taking Control] I forgot to lock the Thotium display case after the quest. Oops. :)
Thanks to Nicoya for pointing it out.

Fixed: [Taking Control] For the letter after the quest, I changed the font for SE compatibility. There was also a ❤️ at the end that didn't work. It now displays as it should.
Thanks to aurreth and HexBolt8 for the help.

Fixed: [A Familiar Face] A few instances of unequipping code that I messed up. I still don't understand why it somehow did work most of the time. Maybe DD has a failsafe for idiots like me.
Either way, it's fixed now.
Thanks to Slagblah for pointing it out.

Changelog for version 3.41:

Changed: One of the clues is now a bit clearer. It's still cryptic but it should point you to the right waterfall now.

Fixed (hopefully): The entrance door and the cage door are now unlocked after the player is teleported. It used to be before the player was there and that probably messed it up.
If you had that issue, please let me know if it's fixed.

Changed: When it says that Karo is still around, he'll now actually still be around. There was a throwaway bit where he walked to Hervis which meant he wasn't actually around. That bit was removed.
It makes more sense now.

Change log for version 3.40:

Added: A new story quest called 'Taking Control'. :D

Fixed: [Origin] A lot of fixes and changes to Origin.
-A lot of people reported issues with scenes in this quest freezing.
It had to do with how I teleported characters around. I changed how they're moved.
They now all start in a seperate storage cell and are ported from there. Especially SE didn't seem to like it when characters are teleported to another spot in the same location.
-Doran was also changed. I couldn't get him to unbug after the inn scene, so there is now a duplicate Doran for the scene in the house.
-The pathing of characters in the bedroom scene was also improved. They used to get stuck a lot.
Huge thanks to aurreth for figuring out what caused the freezing issues.

Added/Fixed/Changed: Numerous changes and some additions to existing quests and their dialogue. :D
I went back to the old story quests and upper their quality with the knowledge I have now.
Including a new scene for ASR and changes to WSD's scenes.
Some of the changes were based on aurreth and threp's feedback.

Changed: You can now sell stolen restraints to the shopkeeper. There's no way for her to know where they came from.

Added: [Origin] Some extra cooking ingredients on the tables. Some cooking mods need them.

Changed/Added: [A Strange Rock] The quest now uses characters from my mod to keep the quest from failing to launch when some characters are dead.

Changed: [What She Deserves] The Innkeeper is now chosen dynamically. So it shouldn't matter if you killed the first guy.

Changed: The trigger used to start some scenes in the shop will now only be enabled when it's needed. That should be better for performance in theory.

Changed: [Seeking The Curse] NPCs used in this quest are now despawned after the quest.

Fixed: [Blending In] Swapping items sometimes wouldn't work as intended.
Thanks to anyway ayway for reporting it and offering the fix.

Fixed: [A Familiar Face] The keys needed to unlock the lockbox are now removed from your inventory when you open it. You won't be stuck with key 1, key 2 and key 3 in your inventory anymore.

Fixed: [Origin] A small text error in the journal. I used someone's old name. Oops.
Thanks to philyb for letting me know.

Changelog for v3.32:

Added: [A Familiar Face] There is now a teleport trigger at the bum end of Embershard too. So if you want to be cheeky and enter from the back, you'll now get teleported too.
Thanks to Naps-On-Dirt for the report.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] After going to Swain, there was no dialogue to advance the quest. I added it.
My guess, I messed it up when I changed some stuff not too long ago and everyone thought it was their own game at fault.
Anyway, it's fixed now.
Thanks to Hellethea_ for the report.

Fixed: [The Lost Merchant] A text error has been fixed.
Thanks to Neghthraw for letting me know.

Fixed: There are no longer underscores in the EditorID's of the new locations. That seemed to mess with how saves were made in SSE.
Thanks to Tatras66 for telling me what was going on.

Change log for v3.31:

Changed: [Origin] When numbers are mentioned, they're now written as numbers instead of written out. So it's now 2000 instead of 2 thousand.
Thanks to Verel for pointing it out.

Changed: All characters in this mod now have a voice type assigned. That should be useful for people who want to add synth voices.
Suggested by Mister X.

Fixed: Unlocking devices now has a slightly larger timer to make it more reliable. Some people were having issues with stuff not being removed.
Thanks to HyperonicX for pointing it out.

Fixed: [A Familiar Face] It should no longer randomly teleport you out of Embershard. There was an issue with the exit trigger.
Big thanks to naps-on-dirt for the report.

Fixed: I removed an unused triggerbox in an unused interior. Seems dumb, but it gave an error so it had to go.

Thanks to tznvlw for letting me know.

Change log for v3.30:

Added: 2 new story quests! A Familiar Face and Origin. Wooo I'm so excited.

Added: Fancy new custom assets used in the new content. Huge thanks to Taki17 for making them.

Added: LBS now requires the latest version of Devious Devices and Contraptions!
Huge thanks to Taki17 for converting it for me.

Added: You can now import and export your MCM settings.
Another big thanks to Taki17 for adding it for me.

Changed: At the end of A Good Fit, a scene plays with a 5 sec pauze in it. This made it seem like it's over, but leaving breaks the quest. I changed it to 2 seconds.

Changed: Laura's Pleasurer is now called Laura's Pleaser. It's just a better name and now they're called pleaser and teaser. :)

Changed: A bunch of changes to dialogue and text.

Changed: There were 2 items slightly floating in the shop. I always want to be open minded and tolerant, but slightly floating objects don't fly here.

Change log for v3.21:

Fixed: [Blending In] The scene with Holden at the cage stopping is now fixed. If you did things in a certain way, another scene interfered with it. A scene can't run when an actor(character) is in another scene, so it just stopped working. It now stops the problematic scene.
It's finally fixed. :)
Huge thanks to Derenriche for discovering it.

Changed: [Ghosts Of The Past] I changed some dialogue to make it clearer.
I still got too many reports of people getting stuck and I agree that it was vague. Especially when there's a language barrier involved.

Fixed: ITM records were removed.
Thanks to worik for pointing it out.

Change log for v3.20:

Added: [Ghosts Of The Past] A new quest that continues the story. :)

Added/Changed: A whole bunch of improvements to dialogue and scenes.
Mostly changes to earlier story quests. I hadn't planned the story that far when I made them, so I rewrote a bunch of things. I also added a few things here and there. What She Deserves has by far the most changes.

Changed: [Seeking The Curse] Swain now also accepts no as an answer when you're sent to him.
He used to be too extreme and too much of a villain.

Fixed: [What She Deserves] I changed the way the player alias is filled. It was slightly different from my other quests and that could the reason some people had issues with the scene not starting and getting stuck.

Fixed: [What She Deserves] When Laura removes the gag, it sometimes remained on her head. It now also removes the gag from her inventory to keep that from happening.

Fixed: [On The Clock] It will now no longer select a customer in Goldenglow Estate and E3 Bleakfall Barrow.

Fixed(maybe): [Blending In] The scene with Holden sometimes stopped running for some people. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue, but it could've been caused by a pathing issue caused by the cage door. So the door now opens when he fetches you.

Fixed: [The Broken Warrior] When you run to the shop before Liza talks to you, that scene will now be stopped to make sure the one in the shop can play.

Fixed: [The Trapped Hunter] I changed some dialogue to hopefully make sure people don't mistakingly go too deep.

Added/Changed/Fixed: Things I forgot to document. :P

Change log for v3.14:

Added: [On The Clock] The timer will now change depending on where the customer is.
Thanks to neosuduno and CanoLathra for their feedback.

Added: [On The Clock] The timer will now also adjust itself depending on your timescale setting. So regardless of your timescale setting, it'll always be the same difficulty.

Changed: [On The Clock] It will no longer select an NPC from a DLC or a mod. It'll now only choose vanilla npcs.
This should massively reduce the amount of inaccessible customers.
Thanks to GuruSR for his GetFormId() tip.

Changed: [On The Clock] The customer sometimes offers you some gold if you accepted a cursed restraint. They gave you gold because they know something is wrong with it and they don't trust it.
I changed the dialogue to better reflect that.
Thanks to UnEvenSteven for pointing it out.

Fixed: [On The Clock] It will no longer select an NPC in Helgen Keep.
Thanks to Johannason for letting me know.

Fixed: [On The Clock] It also won't select an NPC in Nightingale Hall anymore.
Thanks to CanoLathra for pointing it out.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] You will no longer be sent to a location that isn't accessible without another quest.
I found a list of quest locked locations so I made sure my quest doesn't choose those.
These are the excluded locations:
Dustman's Cairn, Fellglow Keep, Ilinalta's Deep, Labyrinthian, Reachwater Rock, Rebel's Cairn, Reachcliff Cave, The Katariah, Saarthal, Skuldafn, Mzulft, Forelhost, Hillgrund's Tomb and Ysgramor's Tomb.
Thanks to GuruSR for letting me know about Mzulft, which led me to finding this list and thanks to worik for the FormList tip.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] Dead bosses will no longer be selected as an objective.
In some locations there is a unique boss and a generic one that replaces them. Sometimes it would select the dead boss and we don't want that.
Thanks to Hanshurtig11 and xyzxyz for their reports.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] When picking up a sack of restraints while you're swimming, it'll now wait till your feet are on the ground before it equips stuff.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] The bag you got when a blacksmith freed you wasn't removed at the end. That's now fixed.
Thanks to GuruSR for pointing it out.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] There was a static barrel in Greenspring Hollow that was sometimes selected as an objective. That barrel is not an actual container and just an uninteractable prop, so this made the quest impossible to complete.
This barrel did have the Container tag for some reason and that was why it got selected. It's not a mod that gave it that tag, it's like that in the vanilla game.
I usualy always avoid changing stuff in the vanilla game, but there's no way they meant to do this. So I removed the tag.
Thanks to UnEvenSteven for figuring that out.

Fixed: A few small changes to dialogue.

Change log for v3.13:

Added: The base gold rewards for [Seeking The Curse] and [On The Clock] are now customisable in the MCM.
Thank to glebbus13 for the suggestion.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] The Unlocking success chance MCM option for Seeking The Curse wasn't working because I forgot to link the property. It now works like it should.
Thanks to UnEvenSteven for pointing it out.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] The way the quest equipped devices was sometimes bugged.
There was still a chance that it would try to equip both a straitjacket and a catsuit. Those 2 aren't compatible so that shouldn't happen.
It also sometimes equipped a body restraints when it was only supposed to equip head restraints.
It should now be fixed.

Fixed: [On The Clock] Followers could still be selected as customers. That is kinda really silly so I fixed it.
Thank to worik for reporting it.

Change log for V3.12:

Added: [A Good Fit] The quest lacked interaction, so you now get the chance to comment on things.
Thanks to yougmen for the feedback.

Changed: [Seeking The Curse] The chance that the restraint are in 2 or 3 locations is now 66% instead of 50%.
Getting only 1 location was a bit underwhelming and it can be unfun when you get the underwhelming branch too often.

Changed: Some item descriptions and messages from older items were still in first person. I changed them to third person like to match the rest.
Thanks to sextynine for pointing it out.

Changed: I lowered the gold rewards for [On The Clock] and [Seeking The Curse]. The rewards were too generous and I want it to be more inline with the rest of the game.
Thanks to UnEvenSteven for the feedback.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] Sometimes when you got 3 different locations, picking up the sack didn't complete the objective. That should now be fixed.
Thanks to Zaflis and UnEvenSteven for finding it.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] When finding restraints, the objective for letting a blacksmith help often wasn't shown.

Fixed: [On The Clock] I added more filter conditions to exclude more non-working customers.
Excluded NPCs:
The wounded NPCs in Whiterun's Temple Of Kynareth.
Found by Naps-On-Dirt and their faction was found by worik.
All NPCs in The Mind Of The Madman.
Found by Nicoya.
All NPCs in Bthardamz.
Found by slicksly.

Fixed: A few text and dialogue mistakes.

Change log for v3.11:

Fixed: A bad dialogue condition that made the dialogue to start [A Good fit] unavailable for some.

Thanks to everyone who reported it and shared their log.

Change log for v3.10:

Added: A new custom set of restraints to go with the custom chastity belt. It consists of a collar, arm cuffs, leg cuffs and a chastity bra.
There's also a new custom delivery bag and custom receipts.
Thanks to Taki17 for his amazing work.

Added: [A Good Fit] A new short introduction quest for the delivery quest.
They have a new custom set and you get to wear it.

Added: [On The Clock] A brand new repeatable delivery quest. :)
This quest unlocks after the new quest [A Good Fit].
Thanks to Krynn and naaitsab for their suggestion.

Added: [Seeking The Curse] Has gotten a big overhaul.
It now uses existing containers and there's also a chance that the restraints are split between multiple locations.
You can now also get a blacksmith to remove them before you go back to the shop.

Added: When she removes restraints at the start of a repeatable quest, she'll now lock those back on at the end.
This is for both [Seeking The Curse] and [On The Clock].

Added: [Seeking The Curse] The chance that they can unlock your restraints instead of asking you go to do Swain is now configurable in the MCM.
Thanks to neosuduno for the suggestion.

Added: You can now sell your keys and the price you get for them is adjustable in the MCM.
Thanks to keter682 for the suggestion.

Changed: Swain has been moved to the upper part of Dragonsreach. He used to be on the porch, but him being next to all those guard patrols was kinda weird.

Fixed: In the shop's inventory, Black Crotch Rope and White Crotch Rope were missing because I put the wrong versions in there.

Fixed: In [The Broken Warrior] it wasn't clear that Liza wanted to talk to you so people rushed back to the shop. That froze progress until you returned and spoke to Liza.
I changed some dialogue and added a delay to the objective pop-up to make sure people don't miss it.

Fixed: The vanilla quests Hired Muscle and Rescue Mission will no longer select Laura or Katarina as a target.
Thanks to Naps-On-Dirt for finding it and worik for sending me in the right direction.

Fixed: In [Blending In] 27 didn't have dialogue for when you swapped back to blindfold after reading the ledger. That doesn't sound bad, but I need to add blocking dialogue to keep dialogue from other mods from taking over.
Thanks to worik for finding it.

Fixed: Numerous text and dialogue fixes.

Fixed/Changed: Things I probably forgot to document. :P

A huge thanks to my testers. I know I've said it before but I really couldn't have done this without them. ❤️

Change log for v3.01:

Changed: [Locked Away] I changed and tweaked the dialogue you get when choosing a plug.
It felt too dry and it needed some spice.

Changed: [The Lost Merchant] Hontaf's outfit didn't make sense after the fort went under Imperial or traitorous rebel control.
He now wears blackmsith clothes.
Thanks to r5e4w3q2 for pointing it out.

Changed: For the special offers, it wasn't clear that she wasn't going to release you after a while because it seemed like a trial.
So I changed dialogue to make it clear that she won't release you.
Thanks to Raresh for the feedback.

Fixed: [Locked Away] After you chose to keep the belt on, the quest accidentally stopped. That meant that the scene to get the belt removed wouldn't work anymore when you asked to get it removed.
It will now only stop the quest if you choose to have the belt removed.
P.S. I can't blame Skyrim or the CK for this one. This was totally my fault. :P
Thanks to draconad for reporting it and helping me with troubleshooting.

Fixed: [Blending In] When you sneaked into the room with the ledger and got caught, the scene wouldn't play properly.
Before the scene starts, it'll now make sure that the player isn't sneaking.
Thanks to Frostgestalt for pointing it out.

Fixed: [Blending In] When you got in the cell before Holden told you to, the scene wouldn't progress.
The cage door will now be closed and locked until he opens it for you.
Thanks to bruh... for pointing it out.

Fixed: Cleaned 6 ITM records.
worik pointed out that he found 6 of them, but when I checked myself, I couldn't find any.
That's when I found out that the TES5Edit I used was about 2 years old. So I downloaded the new one and cleaned them. :P

Change log for v3.00:

Added: 4 new quests that continue the story after the [What She Deserves] quest.
You can start them by asking Laura "Is there something I can do for you?".
The first quest is called [Blending In]. I won't tell the names of the other quests because it could spoil it.
Based on suggestions from HexBolt8 and AleyColt.

Added: A bunch of fantastic new assets by Taki17.
10 new custom decorative banners in the shop's interior.
A new custom sign outside the shop.
New custom belt textures for the belt from Locked Away.
New textures for a unique yoke from one of the new quests.
A more mystical look for the Thotium from A Strange Rock.
Big thanks to Taki17 for his amazing work.

Added: The new items from DD 4.3 are now for sale in the shop.
Note: If you don't see them for sale yet, her inventory has to reset first. Go outside the shop and wait just over 24 hours to reset it.

Added/Changed: A bunch of changes and additions in and around the shop.

Changed: When starting a quest where a follower could mess things up, she'll now refuse to give you the quest unless you dismiss your follower.

Changed: [Locked Away] You'll now get an extra message whenever she adds time when you asked too early.
That'll hopefully clear things up.

Changed: [Locked Away] The default time to wear the belt has been changed to min 3 days and max 7 days.
I lowered them a while ago, but it was still too long for those that didn't know what they were getting in to.

Changed: [Locked Away] I made adjustments to the scenes from this quest. I made them a while ago and I saw a few things I wanted to change.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] The NPCs from the Seeking The Curse quest should no longer get in the way in the inns.
I changed their AI packages and they should now behave like they have a working brain.
They'll now sit in chairs and stuff. Just like the vanilla npcs.

Fixed: [Seeking The Curse] now starts more reliably.
A few people were having issues with starting the quest.
The way some aliasses are filled has been slightly changed to make it easier for poorly performing installs.

Fixed: The dialogue flow has been improved.
It used to hard to ask Laura the things you wanted without having to exit the dialogue.
Thanks to Taki17 for pointing it out.

Fixed: The [Locked Away] quest now starts before it equips the belt.
It used to be that when the quest didn't start for some reason, you would still have the belt on.
But if there's an issue with the quest not starting, you shouldn't get the belt locked on without a way to get rid of it.

Fixed: Adjusted the depth bias of lightsources in the shop again. That should resolve some of the reported shadow striping.
Thanks to Taki17 for pointing it out.

Fixed: The faces of some NPCs didn't have the the correct skintone compared to their body.
They had the dreaded "grey face" bug, but that should be fixed now.
Thanks to Taki17 for pointing it out.

Fixed: One of the crates stacked behind Katarina was clipping through the wall. I gave the crate a stern talk and he agreed to not clip through the wall anymore.
Thanks to Taki17 for pointing it out.

Fixed: A massive heap of dialogue improvements, changes and fixes.

Fixed: The mod files are now in a 7zip archive to save space.

Changed/Fixed: Things I probably forgot to document. :P

A big thanks to my testers for helping me. This wouldn't be possible without them.

V2.02:

Changes to the Seeking The Curse quest:

Added: [Seeking the Curse] The chance that the restraints are in a chest outside the city, instead of found by an npc is now configurable in the MCM.
The chests outside the city are in and near dungeons and hideouts.

Added: [Seeking The Curse] The chance that the NPC hid the restraints in a chest in the city is now configurable in the MCM.
The chests inside the cities always give you the punishing leg bindings.
Setting the chance to 0% will disable it and setting it to 100% means it will happen everytime.

Added: [Seeking The Curse] The chance that a regular chest disables your fast travel is now configurable in the MCM.
Setting the chance to 0% means it will never get disabled and setting it to 100% means it will always get disabled when you find them in a chest outside the city.
Thanks to neosuduno for the suggestion.

Changed: [Seeking The Curse] The chest in Whiterun (not the one in the catacombs) has been moved.
That chest was a lot closer to the contact npc compared to the others.

Changes to the Locked Away quest:

Added: [Locked Away] You'll now also get a bonus reward based on the difficulty of the plug you chose.
You get a 1 gold per day bonus for any plug. It then looks at the behaviour of the plug. A plug with vibration, shock or draining effect will give you another 1 gold per day bonus.
A really active plug, like the custom ones from my mod will give you a 2 gold per day bonus instead.
A few examples: A primitive plug will get you a 1 gold per day bonus, a regular soulgem plug will give you a 2 gold per day bonus and a really active plug like my custom ones will get you a 3 gold per day bonus.
Thanks to Mister X and taki17 for their suggestions.

Added: [Locked Away] You can now decline the payment you get for wearing the belt. Maybe the time in the belt was rewarding enough for you. :D
Thanks to leddis3 for the suggestion.

Added: [Locked Away] There now also an option to let Laura choose which plug you get.
She will choose between Laura's Teaser and Laura's Pleasurer.
Thanks to shadowwolf2k7 for the suggestion.

Misc changes:

Fixed: [What She Deserves] The hood didn't get destroyed after removing it and it was left in your inventory.
There was a small line of code missing from the unquip code. It will now destroy the hood aswell.
Thanks to Frostgestalt for pointing it out.

Fixed: [A Strange Rock] A small inconsistency in a dialogue box from A Strange Rock.
Thanks to Frostgestalt for pointing it out.

Fixed: A whole bunch of dialogue lines and text has been changed.
I corrected a bunch of grammar mistakes and spelling errors. I also changed a few lines to make them clearer.
Thanks to SiegfreidZ for helping me out.

Again a big thanks to my tester for helping me out.

V2.01

Changed: Having your devices removed at the start of the [Seeking The Curse] quest now is a choice.
She will ask you if you want her to remove them.
You'll still get restraints at the end of the quest if you wore them at the start. I do this to prevent the quest from becoming an easy escape option for devices.
Thanks to Taki17 for pointing it out.

Fixed: I cleaned some dirty edits with TES5Edit. They weren't causing problems, but they shouldn't be there.
Thanks to worik for pointing it out.

V2.00

Added: The new repeatable quest [Seeking The Curse] has been added.

This quest is a repeatable job that unlocks after you completed the [A Strange Rock] quest.
You can start it by asking "Is there something I can do for you?" and then choosing the option: "I want to help gather restraints".

It is no secret that there are many cursed restraints in Skyrim. Those restraints feed on the horny and kinky thoughts of the person that finds them.
Some restraints are in the hands of people unaffected by the curse and some of those restraints are still sitting in chests waiting for the right person to find them.
Laura has met some friends and associates in her travels that are now helping her to find those restraint so she can add them to her stock.
She now owns a shop and doesn't have much time to get them herself. So you can now help Laura by retrieving those restraints for her.

This quest has many random branches to make sure that it's very rarely played the exact same.
There are 13 new NPCs, 213 unique lines of dialogue, 18 possible chest locations and it uses 20 custom restraints.

I'm not very good a math, but the branches are: 3 different starts, 14 different outcomes in the middle and 3 different endings.
So that's 3x14x3 which gives us 126 possible ways this quest can play out. I think I've gone a bit too far. :P
Big thanks to my testers: LHM, SiegfreidZ, Nazzzgul666 and pikachu345.

Changed: The shop's interior and exterior has got an upgrade.
The inside looks a lot more like a shop now and the outside makes the shop look like it actually belongs there.

Changed: [Locked Away] default Min and Max values for days to wear have been changed to 7-14 days. It used to be 14-28 days. [ADD WARNING TO POST]

Changed: Laura now sells all variants of the Straitjacket+Dress combo. I somehow thought there was only a black ebonite version.

Fixed: Improvements to the shop's NavMesh.

Fixed: A few spelling and grammar issues.
Thanks to SiegfreidZ

Fixed: There were some issues with the lights that caused weird striped shadows for some people.
I fiddled with some of the settings from the light sources and it should be fixed now.
Thanks to taki17 for pointing it out.

WARNING: Do not load a save where the A Strange Rock or What She Deserves quest is running. I changed a few things to them and it will cause issues.

WARNING2: Rape-like features like DCLs Public Indecency, DCLs Rape feature, Deviousy Enslaved and Deviously Helpless etc. can intefere with the [Seeking The Curse] quest.

V1.20

This mod works with the newest DDi and DDx versions.
This update does NOT need a new save, but make sure you load a save where the Locked Away and A Strange Rock quests are NOT active. The Locked Away quest can break when you load a save where you're wearing the belt.

Added: The quest [Locked Away] has been overhauled.
When you start the quest, Laura will decide how long you have to wear that belt, but she won't tell you how long.
Just be careful, when you ask her to remove it before the time is up can cause her to decide that you'll have to wear it for a few days more.
The time you need to wear the belt is a random number of days decided between a Min and a Max value.
Both the Min and Max value can be changed in the MCM. Setting both Min and Max to 1 means she'll always remove it after 1 day, but that's not fun. :P
You'll get gold for everyday you wear it. You can change the base daily reward in the MCM and it also scales with your player level to keep it relevant. The extra reward per level is 2 gold.
Thanks to zenetx, keter682 and shadowwolf2k7 for their suggestions.

Special thanks to Fenroo for helping me shape this quest.

Added: The quest [What She Deserves] has been added.
Help Laura and Katarina track down and capture a notorious thief.
This quest unlocks after you complete the [A Strange Rock] quest.
Thanks to pikachu345 for the idea.

Added: Key prices can now be calculated differently. You can now add a custom amount of gold per level that will be added to the base price.
The formula works like this: BasePrice + PricePerLevel x PlayerLevel = KeyPrice.
The default value for Price Per Level is 0. That means it's disabled and that only the Base Price will be used.
Thanks to qawsedrftg765 for the suggestion.

Changed: Small changes to the store. Like a few more restraints on and around the counter and a rug on the floor of the jailcell.

Changed: The top part of the jailcell is now also covered with bars.
As suggested by someone who I forgot to put in the notes and I also couldn't find your post in the mod thread. :(

Changed: Laura now also sells the Rope Body. I forgot to add it.

Changed: A few small improvements to the [A Strange Rock Quest].

Changed: The MCM is now a bit tidier.

Changed: Laura's Teaser plug is now stronger. The vibration strength used to be random each time it went off. It's now on the strongest setting everytime it goes off.
You can blame Fenroo for the stronger plug. :P

Changed: The Cursed Loot gag dialogue should no longer interfere with my mod.

Changed: When you buy keys it shows their prices in the pop-up. But it also shows how much gold the player has now.

Fixed: The vanilla navmesh that came with the interior of the shop was a bit shoddy. It should now be better.

Fixed: The 2 custom plugs now also have the Zad_BlockGeneric keyword. They were getting removed by some removal functions even though a belt locked them in place. That should no longer happen.

Fixed: Some script function were moved to the LauraLibs script to centralise general functions.

Fixed: The quest [A Strange Rock] didn't start correctly for some people. This should now be fixed.
Thanks to TWX45G for helping me out.

Fixed: A silly spelling mistake in a message box.
Thanks to SiegfreidZ for pointing it out.

V1.10

Added: New Quest [Locked Away]. You can now earn some gold for wearing a chastity belt you can't remove yourself. You can ask her to remove it at anytime and you're paid for everyday you've worn it. The amount of gold you earn each day is configurable in the MCM.
Thanks to UnEvenSteven and Fenroo for their suggestions.

Added: 2 custom vaginal plugs, Laura's Teaser and Laura's Pleasurer. Both can be bought from Laura, and you can also get them as optional plugs for the Locked Away quest.

Added: New Quest [A Strange Rock]. Follow up on a clue about a strange rock.
Thanks to qawsedrftg765 for the suggestion.

Added: There are now restraints on and around the counter. It used to be a bit empty.
Thanks to MstrN for the suggestion.

Added: There is now a jailcell in the shop for future use.

Added: A fancy new MCM image.
Thanks to CGI for showing me how to properly make a DDS file.

Fixed: Some bugs in the Jammed Lock Repair function.

V1.03

Added: You can now have your jammed locks fixed in the shop. Price configurable in the MCM
Thanks to glebbus13 for the suggestion.

Added: The "Please bind me like a helpless slave." option now has 6 random outcomes instead of just one.
Thanks to _SpaceHamster_ for the suggestion.

Added: Laura now sells even more restraints. Including black leather, red leather, white leather, black ebonite, red ebonite and white ebonite restraints.
Thanks to _SpaceHamster_ for the suggestion.

Changed: It should now be easier to buy multiple keys. Dialog now loops back after buying a key.
Thanks to Krynn for the suggestion.

Fixed: My terrible comma usage in the dialogue.
Big thanks to SiegfreidZ for helping me to english good.

V1.02

Added: Laura now takes your keys before tying you up. It's a lot less fun when you can easily get out. Trust me. :D
Thanks to Zaflis for the suggestion.

Added: A new MCM toggle for those that want to stop Laura from selling keys when they're restrained.
Thanks to MetZwerg for the suggestion.

Added: New MCM option descriptions for clarity.

Changed: The key prices slider in the MCM now has a minimum of 500 and increments of 250 to allow for more customisation.
Thanks to Lowzar for the suggestion.

Changed: The doors to their bedrooms in the shop are now locked. It was weird that you could freely walk around in their house.
Thanks to markdf for pointing that out.

Fixed: The mod had now been cleaned by TES5edit. Something I should have done earlier.
Fixed: TES5edit wasn't very happy with me because I deleted some base shrubbery. I have moved them out of the way instead of deleting them.
Fixed: I accidentally edited some things in the Drunken Huntsman. These accidental edits have been removed.
Thanks to Krynn for pointing it out.

v1.01
The shop has been moved a bit to the west to solve a conflict with the Whiterun Brothel mod

v1:
Intial release

Please post your questions, issues and suggestions in this thread and not as a direct message to me. Others with the same issue can see your post and replies to that post when you post it here. I don't want to get too many messages in my inbox.

For those that encountered an issue, read these first:

My body/restraint is invisible!

That could be because you didn't build the device correctly.

This mod doesn't use it's own devices. It uses the ones from Devious Devices. That means you didn't correctly install that mod.

Building stuff in Bodyslide seems impossible at first, that's why I made this short guide:

BodyslideQuickGuide.jpg.4100cb8409322f141e8045c398b6b39b.jpg

I still have an issue with the catsuit!

Some people had issues with the Bodyslide building of the catsuit (where they were invisible). I used to have that issue too, because there are many old versions of the catsuit that show up in Bodyslide.

There is a chance that you used "mxw catsuit", which isn't the right one. That is likely left over from previous DD versions.

These are the ones you should build:

DDX - CBBE MXW_Catsuit
DDX - CBBE MXW_Catsuit TBBP

And these if you also use Cursed Loot

DCL - CBBE - MXW_Catsuit
DCL - CBBE - MXW_Catsuit TBBP

The game crashes when they want to equip chains!

If your game crashes when they're about to equip chains in the shop, its because you're missing a requirement for DD.
The chains used there need HDT to function and it will crash if it isn't installed.
Get it here:

NOTE: You'll need to get the SSE version if you're using SSE!
