If you wanna use speech bubbles make it simply so that the first one to be read is the highest one in the image.

I know it seems like such a small thing, but I just can't make my retarded brain do it!!

That said, I like where the story is going,

I also like how you don't reuse the same poses, or expressions.

Yeah, I agree with Cema. Numbers added to dialogues do break the immersion. Just place your bubbles better :

— First bubbles higher

— If at the same height, first bubbles on the left (for US & European readers)
