NOW RELEASED!: IVY IN FAR HARBOR

Space Vault 14 & The Pelican Conundrum

Coming: Christmas 2025

INTRODUCTION

After 2 years of development, the DLC addon for Ivy in Far Harbor is coming on Christmas 2025. The 25th of December to be exact. It will feature full main quest integration and multiple custom quests and cells for Ivy in Far Harbor. More information to follow soon...

When Ivy and the player arrive at Far Harbor they quickly notice that unusual things are going on. Since when can fish talk.. and why does Will Murray have a secret Vault on the Island? What starts as a fun and curious investigation into Will Murray's past quickly unravels into a mind bending and reality altering adventure through Space and Time.

Space Vault 14 & The Pelican Conundrum will feature 3 new 'main' quests for Ivy that take place on Far Harbor (and beyond). The addon will feature custom cells and new custom features for Ivy. A completionist playthrough of the entire content for Ivy on Far Harbor should take anywhere between 6 and 8 hours, depending on play style. Players will be able to explore new information on Ivy's background, but they will also learn a great deal about what's in store for her future. Besides custom cells and new quests this addon also features a new addon for Ivy that enables her to hack any device in the commonwealth in one try called the Autohack unit. It will add a new playerhome featuring several games that players can enjoy both alone and with Ivy. And it adds several new custom weapons for players to play with.

I've only had one playthrough with Ivy and, although it isn't ideal, I managed to accomplish the feat with Sim Settlements 2 installed. I tried to minimize the number of scripts that ran concurrently, and I left Ivy behind to complete the later SS2 quests.

I've been really really looking forward to starting another Ivy playthrough so I finally try your Far Harbour expansion, so I'm praying there's a chance I can muddle my way through it with SS2 installed. At some point, I started identifying more as a Sim Settlements 2 fan than as a Fallout 4 fan - for me, the latter is kinda just running in the background.

If I abstained from using any of the SS2 city mechanics in Far Harbour, would that be enough to keep both mods installed?

I think so yeah. I haven't played it but from what I know most of the SS2 scripts are active inside settlements. If you stick to the island and just do Ivy's quests it should be fine.

Thanks, dude! I 99% positive that no SS2 quests happen in Far Harbour, so I should be able to quarantine it to the mainland. I might be a while getting to Far Harbour, but  I can't wait to try it out. I'm so thrilled that the voice actor (KittenVox, right?) is reprising her role and that you added more to your great mod.

Hey Reginald,

just played and finished Ivy's Far Harbor quests and now doing the main quests with her. And man, really really love it and seriously want to thank you!
Games are meant to be fun and be enjoyed and this new stuff by yours i really did enjoy! A LOT!!
While i already praised the crap out of Ivy before^^ This here again i had so much fun!! So cool, so creative and heck, i love how you have no problem go a bit off track with your ideas, not being crazy strict with everything, but doing cool stuff that is creative and crazy, sometimes stretching the lore a bit^^ Love it man! Will Murray in Fo4 haha^^ Amazing^^ So many easter eggs related to movies, just great :)

Seriously, again, tyvm for having brought more fun to my game with this :)

And this is only quests. While Ivy herself just being around is already a league of its own. Not only does she put all Beth NPC companions to shame, making them look like lifeless objects, but imo there is very very very few games that add companions that have so much depth, manage to make your game feel alive.

Why is it called Echo Lumber? Alone this, so cool^^ The lobster running gag jokes^^ Man, you should work for a great developer studio. Though might be good as it is. As on your stuff one can feel the freedom of yours do what the heck you want. And that's stuff i'm sure i'm not alone saying it's just awesome stuff :)

Tyvm for putting so much effort into this awesome character and quests. And while i can imagine it being work, i hope the story is not fully told yet :)

Take care man and again again again tyvm for the great time i had playing this new mod here! :)

Regards,

K

Btw Reginald, after i LOVED the friggin track on Into the void, the first of the two, i now fell totally in love with another. The one playing on the Fourth Wall. Rust06.

Wasn't into the void's music not also a rust track?

Man, so friggin atmospheric!!!

While this track really gets me, the other tracks are great again too...but rust06, omg, LOVE it!!

Seems again you are not only good at doing great and awesome companions and quests, you know how to emphasize it with great music! :)

Also, i wanted to ask...while imo your mod is best on Fo4, there is another mod i also really really loved! The machine and her! Great mod too, though very broken and only good to play through and after remove. However, on this mod there is one thing i thought would be an awesome idea maybe for Ivy too.

In said mod, the character Kit is actually reacting to the raider talk and taunts. Like raider saying "i can do this all day" and Kit then reacting and saying something like "pathetic".

Would this maybe be a good idea to do something like that on Ivy too? Her reacting to the taunts? Pls bear with me, i have zero clue if this can be done without risks of breaking anything nor the amount of time and effort this might need. You can simply ignore it. But thought leave it here as feedback, in case you maybe thinks that'd be a cool thing to do.

Anyways, already said it many times before, but love your mod and tyvm for giving us such a gem for our beloved game! Making it even better by miles. For me, at this point a playthrough w/o Ivy is simply unthinkable.

Stay the best and regards,

K

Stuck on the words quest after completing everything in the pinned order, did I miss something? Don't know how to imprison the words, didn't use the perfectly preserved vase either.

Also would anyone be able to list all the poisonous wine locations please?

Only found the vase after everything else was done, can't for the life of me figure out where to place it...

Updated guides and walkthrough in first reply.

Probably not possible, but I'll ask anyway...

I installed this into a saved game that I had already finished all the Far Harbor questline stuff, so I'm thinking that's why I can't advance Maxx's quest. I don't get any dialoguefrom Kasumi's parents about any quest, I don't get a prompt to dig up anything, and nothing happens when I return to Kasumi's house. Is there a way around this?

His quest is timed, not related to the ending of Far Harbor and not a pre-requisite either for his quest to end. Just keep going with Maxx, you can leave the island if everything there is done.
