NOW RELEASED!: IVY IN FAR HARBOR

Space Vault 14 & The Pelican Conundrum

Coming: Christmas 2025

INTRODUCTION

After 2 years of development, the DLC addon for Ivy in Far Harbor is coming on Christmas 2025. The 25th of December to be exact. It will feature full main quest integration and multiple custom quests and cells for Ivy in Far Harbor. More information to follow soon...

When Ivy and the player arrive at Far Harbor they quickly notice that unusual things are going on. Since when can fish talk.. and why does Will Murray have a secret Vault on the Island? What starts as a fun and curious investigation into Will Murray's past quickly unravels into a mind bending and reality altering adventure through Space and Time.

Space Vault 14 & The Pelican Conundrum will feature 3 new 'main' quests for Ivy that take place on Far Harbor (and beyond). The addon will feature custom cells and new custom features for Ivy. A completionist playthrough of the entire content for Ivy on Far Harbor should take anywhere between 6 and 8 hours, depending on play style. Players will be able to explore new information on Ivy's background, but they will also learn a great deal about what's in store for her future. Besides custom cells and new quests this addon also features a new addon for Ivy that enables her to hack any device in the commonwealth in one try called the Autohack unit. It will add a new playerhome featuring several games that players can enjoy both alone and with Ivy. And it adds several new custom weapons for players to play with.

With Maxx you eventually get a dialogue prompt of "Speak to Ivy about her wolf", this will finish that quest.

For the Quantt quest you should get a quest marker pointing you to the Wilson Atomatoys secret factory, you'll find the circuit board there. If the marker doesn't show up for some reason, I think it was a door leading underground near Southwest Harbor.

Also you don't have to go to Far Harbour before Nuka World. It's actually recommended in the first post in this thread to do Nuka World first (which I didn't see until I had already progressed a bit on Far Harbour, whoops)

That might help a lot!
My very thanks.

I believe killing (accidentally) the old man at Murray's might be part of the issue as I never heard of that Wilson secret factory after him dead.
One thing about this Ivy's mod: I can't cease to be amazed by the quality and quantity of its content the more I slowly discover it.
And I'm not surprised it's almost impossible to make such an intense story without any flaw.
+
Potential bug:
I was going to avenge Ivy from another bad customer at Kenfdall Hospital when suddenly that customer quest went off (wrongly achieved), the bad guy not even being seen or killed, only because the Maxx story popped in.

+

Pelican done.
I have the Quantt! left to do only it says "install the circuit board"... a board I don't have <-> old man death problem? I go visit taht Wilson place just in case, even if I'm not supposed to know about it.

No you can kill Old Man Reg whenever you want.

Quantt starts when you examine the Quantt board inside Will's place, specifically by picking up the note that's on top of it, or by interacting with the board buttons itself (start button)

The raider likely 'just died' (it happens).

Okay for everything else, but I have the Quantt quest on and went to Wilson factory but nothing secret to be found there.
My journal says "Install the circuit board" yet I don't have it, so it's like dead end for me.
I go to Nuka.
Thanks already.

The ID code for that circuit board perhaps?

Did you go to wilson in the commonwealth? Because you need to go to Wilson in Far Harbor.

There is also a WORD there too.

If you have high enough science perk you don't need the circuit board to play quant, you can interact with the memory unit (bottom left of the quantt board) and override it then.

So after doing everything possible on Far Harbor  - all quests and sidequests, all of Ivy's quests, the only two things remaining are the 'explore far harbor with ivy and maxx' and the imprison the Word thing.   I know you said it's just a matter of time after Ivy starts talking to Maxx and sometimes saying he's not looking well, but I've spent in game days, dismissed Ivy and waited 48 hours, fast traveled to tons of Far Harbor locations... and I have not received the  dialogue prompt of "Speak to Ivy about her wolf".  What am I doing wrong?

You're right: I went to the commonwealth. So, next trip Wilson in Far Harbor (went everywhere there and don't recall the place, but...)
I'm always playing very high in science, but it didn't open anything. I'd try again.
(I only started playing with Ivy while being level 90, having discovered 95% of all the maps already, and sometimes I have a feeling it might disturb some triggers...)
She might deserve a new playthrough.

It unfolded to me unexpectedly while I was doing some simple "prostitution bad client" quest, in the commonwealth even.

Spoiler

Heartbreaking.
Enough to benefit of a bit more of a scenario perhaps?

I cleared 99% of the FH map and I see no "Wilson" in FH.
Is that a NPC or a location?
As I said, I've got no clue or quest helping me out at this "killed the old man" stage in my journal.
Something to do with Beaver Creek Lanes, all I can find around Wilson FH on the net?
If anyone knows where or who is that Wilson...

Click on the thing, bottom left of the board. Three little arrows are pointing at it.

Okay, that tiny "memory slot". Working, quest done. Playing...
Thanks.

I'm running into a problem in Stein's construct quest.
It doesn't offer me the right answer, but "positive" instead.
And nothing opens the gate.

Spoiler

I do have the Deborah code.

'got it: I missed to take the very very first one.🤪

+

Now that I'm done with Stein my PC behave kind of weird, runing like crazy most of the time, with some unusual acceleration at start even...
>>> A simple reload fixed it.

+

I only have "The Words" unfinished, and never accessed (through quest) these upper and lower room at Murphy's, not without cheating tpo be precised, and never find any Wilson in FH.
Wondering if I ever start a new game with Ivy from the beginning if you're planing on some update?

One last problem: I went solo for the end of this playthrough, dismissed Ivy but she keeps automatically popping up next to me every time I get myself into a fight.
(not using AFT)

Solved for some reasons... beyond my control.

1) Wine bottle:

Spoiler

Out of curiosity: is there a way to succeed with both the Words option and still get out?

2) Are you aware than writing in this forum launches each time some "OperaSetup" or "avg_setup".exe files suspicious downloads?

I, uh... I need help. The game just straight up CTDs when booting the game up after installing CompanionIvy_SpaceVault14.7z. Every other mod related to the main Ivy mod and her quests including Nuka-World.

The game boots up fine again after uninstalling SpaceVault14. I haven't seen anyone make a post about a CTD because of this, so I'm probably doing something wrong.

I attached the crash log just in case.

**EDIT**
I am dumb. Didn't notice the Archive Limit in Buffout config file was disabled. Enabling it worked wonders for every other mod.

How could i miss this update the whole time? Did just stumble upon it on a different mod by coincidence, one asking for compatibility with Ivy in Far Harbor??!

Man, was hoping for this! Tyvm for adding new stuff to Ivy. Still best companion ever made! Still puts every companion Bethesda ever did to shame!

Just love Ivy and her story!

Hello

I get to the point to go to Will's place and chill, but I spend some time sleeping and waiting and nothing happens

What I'm supposed to do to chill ?

I've only had one playthrough with Ivy and, although it isn't ideal, I managed to accomplish the feat with Sim Settlements 2 installed. I tried to minimize the number of scripts that ran concurrently, and I left Ivy behind to complete the later SS2 quests.

I've been really really looking forward to starting another Ivy playthrough so I finally try your Far Harbour expansion, so I'm praying there's a chance I can muddle my way through it with SS2 installed. At some point, I started identifying more as a Sim Settlements 2 fan than as a Fallout 4 fan - for me, the latter is kinda just running in the background.

If I abstained from using any of the SS2 city mechanics in Far Harbour, would that be enough to keep both mods installed?
