NOW RELEASED!: IVY IN FAR HARBOR

Space Vault 14 & The Pelican Conundrum

Coming: Christmas 2025

INTRODUCTION

After 2 years of development, the DLC addon for Ivy in Far Harbor is coming on Christmas 2025. The 25th of December to be exact. It will feature full main quest integration and multiple custom quests and cells for Ivy in Far Harbor. More information to follow soon...

When Ivy and the player arrive at Far Harbor they quickly notice that unusual things are going on. Since when can fish talk.. and why does Will Murray have a secret Vault on the Island? What starts as a fun and curious investigation into Will Murray's past quickly unravels into a mind bending and reality altering adventure through Space and Time.

Space Vault 14 & The Pelican Conundrum will feature 3 new 'main' quests for Ivy that take place on Far Harbor (and beyond). The addon will feature custom cells and new custom features for Ivy. A completionist playthrough of the entire content for Ivy on Far Harbor should take anywhere between 6 and 8 hours, depending on play style. Players will be able to explore new information on Ivy's background, but they will also learn a great deal about what's in store for her future. Besides custom cells and new quests this addon also features a new addon for Ivy that enables her to hack any device in the commonwealth in one try called the Autohack unit. It will add a new playerhome featuring several games that players can enjoy both alone and with Ivy. And it adds several new custom weapons for players to play with.

INSTALLATION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
- Place AFTER Nuka World in the load order!
- You do NOT need a new game for this
- You can play it at ANY affinity level but for a first playthrough the highest affinity is recommended (e.g. 'after Nuka World')
- If you notice bugs, please let me know (preferably through Discord, but here is good too)
- A Lightly modded game is recommended

FIRST PLAYTHROUGH RECOMMENDATIONS:
- No Sim Settlements or big quest altering mods for Far Harbor
- Known issue: The ship parts of the game are difficult. Mods that add survival and increase radiation damage can and WILL soft-lock you in the ship if you don't have enough resources, especially ways to combat radiation are crucial. Have lots at the ready.
- I recommend to play this with Full Affinity for Ivy (so After Nuka World) on the first playthrough. Ivy has content for THREE different levels of affinity: Before Into the Deep, After Into the Deep and After Nuka World. Depending on the situation her responses and quests will go slightly different each playthrough.
- Recommended at first: NO Combat Alteration mods (e.g. added gore, more difficulty, etc.. These could add incompatibilities with the altered combat styles and scripts attached to the scripted 'kill' events of the Cultists)
 - No custom followers for the first playthrough is HIGHLY recommended. A new temporary follower will join you and Ivy as part of her main quest on the Island.

10) go back to Will Murray's place, talk to Old Man Reginald.

**MORE GAMEPLAY tips for Ivy in Far Harbor**

- Try saying 'don't interrogate me' to Avery, upon arriving at Far Harbor and see how Ivy reacts.
- Have Ivy hack DiMa's memories (AFTER enabling the power in the backroom)
***OsinR 's Skip DIMA memories** is known to cut Ivy's ability to hack DiMa's memories (which is logical as the scnes are removed in that mod). In order to have Ivy retrieve the memories for you, you can disable that mod temporarily. *
- Ivy both likes and dislikes the Children of Atom and she has strong opinions about Brother Devlin
- Ivy has a personal stake in hating ||DiMa||.
- Make SURE to do the 'eavesdropping' thing. (Note: Disable Darryl's idles and time calling temporarily as they can interrupt the scene)
- Have you found Dave the Fish? He's right outside of Far Harbor, just south, close to a bench by the water and the road.
- Ivy's tactical routines during Quantt are dynamic. If she is kicking your ass game after game she will start playing dumber, if you kick her ass game after game, she will start playing more aggressively.
- <REDACTED BY DELTA/MOON>
- Have you found and spoken to Token? The four leaf gambling tokens seller, close by Will Murray's house?
- VATS can help enormously when Cultists spawn in.
- Maxx is very helpful with locating cloaked Cultists.. almost as if he was trained to do so, wouldn't you say?
- The Pelican Conundrum main quest ends when you've done ||Maxx's quest fully||, finished the Centennial and dug up the supplies that the Nakanos give you, not before.
- Ivy has remarks on most of the locations in Far Harbor, make sure to visit the Spa!
- There are ||4 bottles of poisoned wine on the Island||. And if you follow the quests and explore locations thoroughly you will run into them. Sometimes drinking poisoned wine can't kill you, but might make you stronger.

That look you get when Ivy wants to know what's on today's agenda...

Looking forward to this, Reg... thank you, all of you that put the effort into making more for our Fallout universe... and yes, especially Ivy (both you, Reg, and KittenVox).

With the recent AE update shenanigans in mind, will it matter what version of Fallout we're running. I already have 1.10.163 on GOG and have been contemplating going back there. I have  no use for any of the CC content in the nextgen update. Never mind the AE update that's causing so much pain right now. Especially the reports of DLC failures, those really worry me about the safety of our girl IVY!!

Nope, won't matter. Ivy runs on any version of fallout 4, from .114 and up.

Just dropped in to say thanks a million for your (and the other folks involved, of course) hard work and dedication to make such a masterpiece possible. For many years now Ivy has always been important part of my mod list. Looking forward to" X-Mas Ivy" 😁

Well I've cleard every quest except for "The words" .
After I escaped from the ship and came back to the will's home, I found out that I've missed 8th word, "luck".  So I read your spoiler guide and went back to the Coplands Hideout desk but the there isn't anything left in the desk or on the desk. I've searched nearby places but I couldn't find one.

So I tried getting the 8th word memo through mod item container, but the quest does not progress..

Is it intentional that the word memo disappears after clearing the main quest?

I have only 1 objective left. "lock up the word" from the words quest. I failed "embrace the words" objective. (Sorry for incorrect name but I'm playing with AI translated version)

I failed to find megaloader? or something and Ivy commented about it.

I've done every quest on Full spoilers guide, and Pelicon conundrum quest is completed after talking with Ivy. But "The words" quest is still remaining in journal.

Could you help me with this?

Answers in spoiler:

Spoiler

1) PERCEPTION: On top of the church tower across from Far Harbor
2) STRENGTH: Inside the Wilson Experimental Facility in Far Harbor (Part of the Quantt! quest)
3) AGILITY: In Eagles Cove Tannery, hidden behind the safe in the closed off room on the ground floor
4) ENDURANCE: On the bar in The Last Plank
5) SNARL: On a piece of rock, as part of quest 'The Fourth Wall' (MISSABLE!)
6) LUCK: Go up in the elevator in Will's apartment, find it there (A little red button, right of the terminal on the ground floor hallway)
7) INTELLIGENCE: Right of the 'Words' terminal, inside the Centennial on the Main Engineering level (MISSABLE!)
8 ) SPEED: On the desk that holds the key for Space Vault 14, at Coplands Hideout. (Speed)

The only missable words are Intelligence (inside the Centennial) and Snarl (during the fourth wall). But there is literally a quest marker pointing to the one in the

Centennial, and the one during The Fourth Wall is unmissable as you literally walk into it. If you miss a word, the quest will remain open and there is no way to stop it. This

is by design, you may hate me for that.

I have the StoryWealth Collection that includes the Fens Sheriff Department.
After loading the game after installing Ivy for the first time, a warning flashed across the screen with something about the Fens sheriff and Ivy.
I blinked and missed it

I tried rebooting the game, but I cannot get it to display again.
There is also no note in my inventory about it.

Any clue what it was?

Hey, I might be dumb, but I'm struggling to work out how to start the temporary companion's quest, so as to progress Pelican Conundrum. I've gone through the Far Habour main quest, Space Vault 14 and the Centennial, had Ivy and them with me pretty much the entire time.

did you go back to the parents of Kasumi with Ivy?... at the end of everything, that's a last step to try..

this quest line was top tier..., gawd.., hope this is not the final Ivy quest line ever in F4 (is she gonna show up in Starfield??... almost felt like, that's a direction it could go)

imo Ivy should help the Vault-dweller / her lover get a synth body too... so they can both live & love together 4ever.., as Ivys fear is to lose her loved ones over time.., (unless the "artifact" I missed in her  Far Harbor quest, does something like that..)

either way, her quest line(s) in Far Harbor were the best F4 quests since Far Harbors quests themselves..., and she tied really well into them too.., really hope this is not the last of Ivys quests (and the lore it expanded on in her Vault 14 quests goes deep.. could be built upon too...)

It's just that the requirements listed above included Maxx's quest, so I was expecting to see something of that.

Ok, I've now dug up the supplies to end the main Far Habour questline, but still have Pelican Conundrum, still have ||Maxx|| following Ivy. I've done all of Space Vault 14 and Centennial, done all of the Words, not sure what I missed.

Edit: One thing that might do it is that I've got "Talk to Ivy about the Memory Terminal" stuck as an objective, I've tried but she has no dialogue.

Hmm.. that is interesting. As long as Maxx is with you guys, his questline has not ended yet. Give that time. As for the 'Talk to Ivy about the memory terminal'. That's a bug, noted it and will solve it in the next update. For now, leave it and keep traveling with Maxx and Ivy.
