The quest marker pointing to the mine is now fixed and points towards the entrance of the mine

 

Good news!

 

I've decided to give everybody a first look at the mod and how quests are going to look. As well as to get some feedback on how everything looks so far.

It's not much to present, especially not after such a long time but as I said multiple times already, progress is slow and I'm trying around a lot with different things and ideas.

 

As of right now the mod only includes the first part of the "enslave riverwood" quest, it will be expanded further!

 

Current Requirements:

 

  • SexLab (SE/AE)
  • (ZaZ can be ignored, I was just to lazy to remove it as master)

 

 

How to start the quest:

 

  • Go to Dragonsreach and speak with Pike

 

Possible choices:

 

Spoiler
  • Steal the iron via pickpocket
  • Kill the bandits
  • Buy the iron from them
  • Use SexLab, you know what to do

 

 

As usual feedback on everything is welcome. Please report any bugs and grammatical errors.

I'm not a native english speaker but will try to correct any mistakes made.

I would say the quest working fine except on marker that didn't update after speaking from lucan. I know this is just initial so keep up man.

Quest bugged out when talking to Lucan(marker stays on him). Where are the bandits exactly?(looked around the area where in original SR mod you find the carriage and bandit camp, they arent there).

The issue with the marker is now fixed and the new version is up.

Resolved with TESEDIT in the end(coc command)

All in all the quest concept is good. Not sure with what mod does this conflict, but the bandit in the mine entrance would force greet me but there would be no dialogue(since I have MiasLair and SLDrunk those were the only two options). Gone through this by setstage-ing to progress. Also not sure if maybe my level(48) somehow influenced the above mentioned bugs. 

 

Now a few questions about the plot of this quest, and your general plans about additions in it.

Will the getting iron from the bandits have an additional content(since there is a jail cell there)?(forced content)

Any plans on implementing "coming back" to them(gold/iron/whatever for sexual favours or something else)

Can you further spoil some additions to this particular quest? :P

Okay, so I checked as well and for me the forcegreet works fine. I suppose this must be an issue on your part but right now can't say where the conflict lies here. 

 

The jailcell is really only there since this was a copy of embershard mine. Which for now will serve as a placeholder. But I like the idea, I'll add it to my notes as well for when I build the real location.

And yes, I have further plans for this mine. Not in the enslave riverwood quest however.

 

Nothing about the next part of this quest is set in stone just yet so I can't really speak upon it besides saying it will involve Orgnar.

Just done a run through, got the iron, went to Alvor and then to Lucan .. which is where I assume it stops? after the dialogue about 'I don't want to know ...' it then just repeats.

 

All worked fine. I did, at the start ask Pike again and he gave me a couple of additional quests which I also assume are not coded in yet? - guy in the Inn and a delivery to Bethelor .. Couldn't find the guy in the inn and didn't delve any further with the delivery.

 

However, all working well as far as I can see.

Yes, both are not yet coded in but will come in the future as well.

Thanks for considering adding this kind of content. Ill post more on the feedback page when I have some time(and hopefully it will be something you find worth implementing). One last question: When can we expect the first major build(intro quest and this one)? Soon or the ol' when its done? ☺️

When it's done it's done. Simple as that. 

I won't say it will be done at x date because I most likely can't keep it anyway.

Must be an issue on your part, I just checked myself. Pike has the dialog and the quest starts normally.

 

Look through your questlog and look if there's a quest called "Shady Business"

 

What you could also try is typing "sqv SR_MainQuest_01" in the console and look what stage the quest is on and if it is started.

It should say:

Firstly, the version in this post is long since outdated. 

 

Secondly, this issue has already happened. The alias is not filling correctly.

 

 

For possible fixes:

1. Update to the newest version and look if it works then.

2. If it still doesn't work look if your modlist contain any of the mods on the second page.
