Progress so far

It's been quite a long time till I last posted anything. I planned to release these news along with showing you a new location but since that will take more time than I thought and I still want to show you all that progress is being made I decided to just do it like this.

I will update this entry when smaller things, like quests, npcs etc. get finished. 

 

Quests:

  • PreQuest (skipable) - finished
  • Slave Quests - in progress
  • Slaver MainQuest - in progress

 

Locations:

  • Main Hall - finished
  • Slaver Quarters - in progess
  • Slave Quarteres - unfinished
  • Training Grounds - unfinished
  • Member Area - unfinished

Maybe it's too early for that question, but any chance of an early alpha?

Well, it is quite early. But I'm not against the idea.

So far the mod doesn't really include anything but I thougt about it. Sometimes people find bugs or small things that I just overlooked. 

Right now I'm working on a larger quest. I have considered making a public alpha version so people can look at everything so far that might become available as soon as the quest get's finished. 

 

I won't make any promises here but if something should become public it will most likely be within this or the next week. Demand seems to be rather high for a first look and I don't think it could hurt.

You mentioned that you made changes to the prequest. Could you give a brief summary of what you changed?

Sure. 

  • The start will be by finding a note. I'm still deciding on where to put it. (Before this is was recieving a letter)
  • The "ask people about their opinion" has been completely cut.
  • Jarl Balgruuf won't tell you his opinon about slavery anymore.
  • Added a option to end the quest early. For people that want to skip it.
  • And some dialog changed, due to limitations of the creation kit.

I've started from 0, it was easier for what I wanted to do.

I recently started modding Skyrim and came across SlaveRun Reloaded and absolutely love it. Great to see that someone is making an updated version, and with the blessings of the original author! I personally can't wait to see it finished, or even test an alpha!

Probably not, as of right now I'm working on SE/AE. If I should get to a point where I can call the mod finished I'll think about an LE version but that point won't come anytime soon.
