there were 2 mods that caused it, but both mods have patches included in the fomod to fix that issue. GuruSR alreadymentioned on the pahe page he didnt install those patches right away and then still took some convincing for him to realize he needed it -
1.33d is also provided on the pahe download, but i can look into changing the link to his version. you can try updating it mid-save, but you will still lose those slaves you already have from before the update And you will need to reboot pahe from the mcm after the update updated the main page links now as well

to summarize it another way you need to disable force-equip for zad_inventory so that when the player gives that to the slave, it swaps with the rendered item that was the original thoughts on it, but ended up changing it, cant remember why. i think its because not all items are lockable and only lockable items need the rule exceptions had to recheck the actoralias to remember, disable force equip for zad_Lockable i guess a better summary is that it was never about which items to force equip, but more about which to exclude

originally i assumed the file was corrupted, this time i rechecked were some files missing so now that has been corrected as well

ok, thanks for the additional testing, ive used the files from 8.1.9 to fix the corruption in the files so hopefully it works this time

looks like youre missing some files, most likely the paradise_halls_SLExtension.bsa

so after more investigation it seems skse has been updated, but some of the mods are recommending getting the downgrade tool from nexus and disabling automatic steam updates

at this ive found that dd straitjackets dont mark the hand slot as used so slaves will often either show the hands or additionally equip gloves. pahe includes fixes for that, but agreed it would be better handled from dd for that hes welcome to look back how pahe handles it. pahe already checks for the devious keywords and works accordingly
