I haven't tried making poses with objects yet. These are by siimplysims

It's not really difficult. You just append the mesh in blender for reference, and if it's an accessory (I often don't bother with those since I can just use a deco object and move it into place with TOOL if I need to) you can attach it to the rig and then it will behave as the accessory object would in game which allows you to pose it. Then once you got the pose you want you remove everything but the sim rig and mesh. You can do this with any object really, or other sim rigs for paired poses (in which case you should save it with both rigs then make separate versions for each rig participant where you delete the other one).
