Tweaked Aiko (Alisa) in CAS a bit before uploading her tomorrow. Changed some outfits and gave her a haircut, since now I have better hair options in this color. Snapped some pics with her new look, happened to love the lighting in this particular scene.

Some animators definitely (and understandably) skimp on animating fingers too. So fiddly! Couldn't humans evolve to instead have simple yet practical clamps?

I don't mind doing the hands and fingers so much, but they do consume an exorbitant amount of time. It's the facial expressions that get to me. I never feel like I get them just the way I want. If it's any consolation to you, your poses are very well done, and look very natural.

Oh yeah. Facial expression is right up there with the freaking fingers but only second. The only reason why I consider the hands/fingers the top is because it brings back bad memories of me trying and failing to draw hands ?

Aww thank you ☺️ I appreciate that. I'm still trying to improve though because when I look at my own poses sometimes I don't get satisfied. I'm such a perfectionist.

For facial expressions, and fingers for that matter as well I'd actually recommend pilfering them from base game animations. You can copy stuff from one rig to another, either from all bones or just select ones. You can use pose player's ability to play animations by name to find the ones that have what you need, then extract the animations as blender files using S4S.

On a side note, where'd you find that dress? I'm in real need of more of those kinds of clothes (the ones that have a partially undressed version). I tried making one myself, such as a skirt w/ visible bottom but it's more complicated than I thought.

The dress is by LYNX, I don't know if it's free now, it should be, because it's been around pretty long now, but I can't say for sure.

Unrelated, I ended up doing an impulsive mini makeover of my Mazuiko Jackson (from the Urbz) sim, I tried out a different hair and found that I just liked this one better overall, that it worked better with the ombre accessory I was using and that it's a little bit closer to her hairstyle in the Urbz.
 

Also made some slight updates to outfits and found what I thought are tattoos that look better
