CTD near whiterun farms

So, I'm having CTDs near whiterun farm. It's consistant no matter what. I've tried almost everthing, installing and reinstalling different crash fixes and running loot. Nothing is fixing it.

Log 1 is me trying to run past the problem area, even trying to tcl past it. Doesn't work.

Log 0 is me trying to load a game that I saved right after the horses finished with the slave and other npc

If there is any help anyone can give I would really appreciate it.

It's possible there's a specific mod causing it, but that area in general is a notorious CTD hotspot. It's apparently very heavy on VRAM around there with the Whiterun exterior, lots of npcs, foggy mountains, two rivers, the giant vs Companions fight on your first visit, etc. It seems that the game crashes when your system combined with original Skyrim's poor memory management can't handle it.

I was having the same issue a few months ago and eventually fixed it by changing some of my texture-related mods to reduce the strain on VRAM - skin, clothing, armour, landscape re-textures, that kind of thing. I optimised all my textures with Ordenador, switched to lower quality versions of some, and even removed a few entirely. I kept doing that a bit at a time and tested until I could get through that zone safely. While it won't have been the culprit itself (lots of other people seem to use it without problem) the final change that did the trick for me was removing fair skin and going back to my older female skin textures. I haven't crashed there once since doing that, and could even put a few others I'd removed back in safely as well. It was only when I fixed it I realised the crashes started for me there after installing fair skin in the first place.

It was a long, frustrating process, and almost had me give up Skyrim completely, but you might have to try something similar to get to the bottom of it. Good luck.

Thanks for the detailed response. It makes sense that it might be a texture issue. I'm not sure how to fix that either though. I tried what you said you did and disabled pure skin textures but that didn't help. I can try looking in to what might be  more demanding textures. Not sure where to start though.

i deleted all the mods i have in and running in my current load order to try to help narrow down where the issue is coming from.

another thing you can try (after moving MNC) is to re-install XPMSE to be absolutely sure that nothing overwrites its skeletons.

one other thing you can do is to run Ordenador (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/) on your textures (you can do it without actually reducing sizes)

and let it fix errors. (make sure you have a backup of the mods somewhere first so you can re-install them as they were released)

Not sure how this is relevant to CTDs ouside Whiterun.

Yes that area is notoriously flaky (and it's meshes rather than textures) but I would look at mods which change or add to the area. For example hydra slavegirls puts people there as does slaverun (I think).

It's likely caused by a mod conflict. You are using the Bethesda Hi Res Texture pack but not the Unofficial Patch that was made for it.

Unofficial High Resolution Pack

A couple nice alternatives are  Optimized Vanilla Textures which doesnt need the  Unofficial vanilla patch and looks better, or a very different pack called NobleSkyrimMod HD-2K.

Textures might be causing some CTDs overall in your game, but if its consistently happening in the same spot, then its likely a mod conflict.

I did as you said and moved MNC and ran ordernador and shrunk all my textures by a lot. I'm no longer near the whiterun farms so I am unsure if that is still an issue, but I'm am getting CTDs and a bunch of other points in the game. Pretty often I'll just CTD out of nowehere, and this iis with a lot of the high texture mods uninstalled and shrunk with ordenator.

I reallhy appreciate you guys trying to help!

I tried installing unoffical high resolution patch and it didn't seem to fix the crashing sadly
