[Request] Children aren't robots!

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but this is the non-adult section. So here goes.

I've played over 1000 hours of Skyrim and Skyrim SE. For the first time *ever* I adopted a child. It was so disappointing to find the only interactions you can have with your new kid is hide and seek and you can give them toys.

I know there are quite a bit of mods that add a better experience with your spouse, better/expanded dialog, animations and more. I was thinking why there aren't mods where you could actually interact with your child more, such as conversations, hugging and kissing? Don't kids needs affection and attention?

I did a lot of searching and found nothing on the Nexus, here and even just plain ol' Google searches. Nothing.

Does anyone know of anything that would offer a better adoption experience for a cold-hearted Necromancer who's trying to develop her maternal instincts and just recently adopted Aventus Aretino?

Just a disclaimer, as I know child-based content on this site is really risky. I'm asking for a mod that offers *purely platonic* interactivity with the adopted children of Skyrim, and is in no way, shape or form sexual in *any* nature, whatsoever. Whew...

Please lock if old/answered/inappropriate/etc.

There is nothing wrong with child based content as long as there is no nudity or sexual content. Not sure if there is much stuff for them other then giving presents and playing games. You can also get them a pet to play with and if you don't do it one day your going to come home and find that they brought something home and it can be anything.

Darn, I was hoping that if such things existed for spouses, that hopeful someone made something equivalent to adopted kids, something more substantial I'm terms of an interactive relationship.

Only thing even close or at leased what I've heard of was https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56916/

Its seems the vanilla game is more designed around fighting and achievement not really immersion.. modders created the immersion thing with the advent of the CK. Outside of the link I don't think anything exists.

Hopefully some one will take an interest in improving Skyrim lackluster adoption mechanics. It would be really cool to have a child follower in the same way that the new God of War is doing.

Yeah, I mean I agree with you. I never bother with adoption at all, because the entire system seems incredibly pointless and shallow to me. Like so many other things in the base game, it had some VERY crappy implementation.

that's hard to do?

tesedit

go to dialog "follow me" (type f after alphabetic order for blabla)

if there's condition not in follower faction, not in bandit faction, whatever, add condition not in adopted faction (or whatever it is) to condition don't have flag ischildrace (or whatever it is)

if there's no condition, that's in the quest associated to that dialog, or the dialog branch, not complicated to find

and don't cry if your child follower is a useless meat wall, child are invincible, npc can't damage them (they can if you make them killable, but they are too small for the killmoves to look good on them)
