You can make any changes you want to your post before July 1st.

What's happening is the certificates for https authentication aren't getting passed correctly. I don't know if LL isn't acquiring or imgur isn't playing nice. If you go directly to the image you can see it, and then if you go back to LL you can see it because your computer now possesses the certificate, until next time you reload your browser. I tried linking them as http but LL automatically converts them to the https link. They should be hosted directly on LL now instead.

Is it even necessary to put images up on hosting sites though? I never do, I just upload them straight from my computer or paste them right into the post. Website seems to support that just fine.

Keep all my images in one place and all that.

I do like how the contest is open to all genders, but it seems everyone is entering women anyway. I offered to enter some sims of other genders, but a woman got the most votes, so I will also be entering a woman. I do not think the contest should be gender restricted, but it would be nice to see more gender diversity in the entries. I don't have any ideas on how to do this without adding gender restrictions which I do not want added, but I will just put this out there and maybe somebody else will have some ideas for next contest, if/when there is another one. Finally, I want to plug my own garbage. If you take nice pictures of your Sims on a plain background, I am also looking for pictures like that to turn into in-game posters. Read about it here, and post any pictures I can use in that thread, thanks. I have started using Severinka's photo backdrop and found some recolors of it on tumblr, and it looks really nice for taking pictures on a plain backdrop. That is some advice for other contestants, I will be using Severinka's backdrop in my entries.
