Alright, soooo...

With Skyrim breaking practically all the time, I'm looking for a good mod setup that doesn't crash and works well. I want the game to work with all the Devious Devices type of stuff as well. I don't really know what body mod to go with, but I can work with Bodyslide and whatnot in order to make my own preset sliders.

The "HDT Animated Pussy" and "HDT Breast Collisions" also look quite nice, but when installing the animated pussy it seems that some things end up being overwritten and such (for example: butt jiggle is severely downscaled)

Nonetheless, the current big mods I play around with now are Remodeled Armor for CBBE HDT (I currently use CBBE but am wondering if I should switch to UUNP), all the Devious Devices stuff, Mia's Lair, Paradise Halls, and all the graphics mods recommended by the RealVision ENB uploader.

My Skyrim is very unstable and crashes often, and i'm just looking for a mod setup that doesn't breakdown or anything. Recommendations and all that, basically, but the big mods I'm using right now are ones that I want to keep around, but I can end up getting rid of the ENB if needed.

As for me, I've switched from CBBE to UUNP quite some time ago, though I don't know the reasons anymore :classic_angel: I think it was something with more realisitc looking poses in animations ore something.

The thing with Skyrim is: there are several reasons why it could be unstable. Incompatible mods, wild installing an uninstalling of mods with scripts, wrong memory settings and then the game itself. You should try to get a stable working framework before adding LL mods. As an example, you could use STEP

After this build up the sexualization in several layers: first alter the look and bodies of characters (hairstyles, CBBE, SOS, ...), then add animations (SLAL), after this set up the basic sex mods (Framework, SL Aroused, ZAZ Animation Pack, ...) and in the end build your DD mods on top of it. After each layer, test your setup a while to see if it's still stable. Sooner or later you will reach the point of sexualization you wanted to have ;)

Do you know any good face mods for UNP? I try to end up using Coverwomen, but it doesn't seem to work well with any of the skins installed through Animated Pussy HDT.

Another thing I might suggest doing, to give your game immense stability, is to do the ENBBoost setup. It will definitely help with lower rigs when adding more to the game.

As for difference between CBBE vs UUNP is that UUNP is more realistic looking vs the fantasy look of CBBE. I myself, have tried every body there is currently and I keep coming back to CBBE and use bodyslide to create my body. However, whichever you so choose, you could also utilize All-In-One HDT Animated Pussy mod, then utilize Demoniac installer. It works really well.

Do those skin textures work with coverwomen look 3?

I just like coverwomen due to the sort of "heavy" look of the makeup. I have a character that uses quite a bit of it. Some of the face mods like to severely downscale the level of makeup that is shown.

Well, do you know how to make makeup look darker for some of the skins? Like, what skin do you use?

It's just that whenever I use fair skin, black lipstick looks a lot more like black lip gloss.

i have the same idea time go

so for more stable skyrim = less script , less mcm , less hdt , less mods , config files (ini)

you can use any body or texture ( your graphic crad =2k or 4k) is what you you want

for me leynda skin have best normal skin , and map skin (_msn)  you can mixt texture bettween ( _s, _sk ,msn) and see what you love

i don't knwo why people talk shit is unp > cbbe they have the same uv-map based in orginal one , for poly cbbe plus ( in LL) , or cbbe maximum beat uunp

At risk of going off topic, this isn't quite as simple as "can I have a known good mod list please?".

Your build will be tailored to both your own playstyle/preferences, and your own PC. What works for one person might not work for another. One of the cool things about modding is that no two people's games are the same - but this also makes it hard to just give you a modlist and promise it will work.

Besides, we can show you all the cool mods in the world and it still won't help if you don't get to the bottom of your stability issues.

Some things that have worked for me when battling such things are:

-> Check papyrus/crash logs. There are some cool tools out there for helping you do this (i'm sure google will find them, I don't have them to hand right now).

-> Strip your game/modlist right down to the bare minium, and run around for an hour or two to check it's stable. Then add a handfull of mods, and run around again. Etc. When it starts crashing, remove the mods you just added and check it's ok again. Then add them one at a time - hopefully, this will help you work out which ones are problematic for you.

-> Reducing the graphics load helped me a lot. 1k textures & ENBoost (I now believe people who say 'there is no such thing as a lightweight enb).

-> Accepting that a part of the fun of modded skyrim wasn't just running around a souped up skyrim in bikini armour, it's the learning process of building the game and getting it working. If you want a heavily modded game you will have to spend time outside the game modifying it and fixing weird bugs. But you learn things doing so, and get cool bikini armour so it's not all bad.

Get yourself a stable Skyrim installation by following one of the excellent guides out there, e.g. S.T.E.P. The time and effort you put in here will save you lots of grief later.

Decide on what sort of playstyle you want to go for and read up on the relevant mods. Find out which plays nice with which.

Build up your modded Skyrim gradually. For example, install all your environment changing mods first (roads, flora, fauna, towns, buildings etc). Then do NPCs, clothing, uniforms etc.

Once you are happy that Skyrim is happy then install the other mods you fancy.

Be prepared to accept that some mods just will not work for you whether because of your hardware or your other mods.

And remember, the more spade work you do at the beginning, the less tears before bedtime.

I known good and not so outdated like many S.T.E.P guides that can help you to make stable base for your modload

Read them really carefully. Just don't mindlessly download and install all mods. In some parts of guide you can choose only one mod form many or some of mods can have conflict (fun fact: Never mix OBIS with Immersive Patrols. It have really hard conflicts that can brick your save)

Start with graphic guide and later make test if your machine can take those type of mods (mostly your CPU and GPU):

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373

Later you can try this guide and mix and match

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77928

And when you will have a stable base (after some play tests), when you can try some mods form there. And yes many Sex Lab mods are really script heavy mods. So before adding them a stable base is important.
