I'm not sure, same thing with the Brotherhood Recon Outfit's harness only option, it's pretty skimpy too. I think it's because its part of his project to make a custom outfit for every faction in the game and wants that in his portfolio, maybe?

 

It was also very popular and got a lot of downloads. and maybe he thought "sanitizing" those mod pages like you pointed out and removing all the NSFW images was better than removing the ones that aren't overtly meant to be skimpy and NSFW like that combat stripper outfit or the scoopdigger one?

Hm that is really strange.

 

I wonder if he had a falling out with The3Kite, or if he was unhappy with the large amount of adult mods on his record.

 

Regardless he's an absolutely amazing modder, regardless if what hes making is slooty or standard.

Could also be something to do with a new job or such, where they have a company morality clause or such where clearly adult stuff is not allowed on the persons public portfolio while they work for that company, there were a couple of fanfiction authors I read that went in effect professionally published with some of there stuff and they said that part of it was removing anything that was porn/semi porn in nature from any where they were aware it was hosted, and if they found out others were hosting it they had to order it taken down.  Hell for all we know it could be their new girlfriend/wife or whatever not liking them making such stuff and demanding it gets taken down.

The Kite's Tumblr feed seems to suggest that this is linked to Niero working with the Creation Club. It's very possible that Bethesda has a 'morality clause' in their work-for-hire agreement of just the sort Varithina is referring to (especially when you consider some of their admittedly half-hearted efforts to stymie adult modding basically from Oblivion on forward)

Think if you check pretty much all of bigger companies do have such clauses it is just that for 99% of their staff it is never a problem as they are never even mentioned to them, just every now and then it gets pulled out and the staff affected are wtf, since when do we have such a clause in the contracts.

 

Hopefully either TheKite or Niero will make things clear, sure if you go onto the nexus page for the removed items it does say

That kind of implies to me something is going on, more than likely in the real life side of things.
