Ichabod Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 Emes: Once Reluctant Housemaid is complete it should port you back to your Master after the slave camp (assuming he is not dead). Once there you should be free to go. If you murdered him, then it is currently a bad end. The end of the slave camp should be variable when this mod is complete (OK....some time yet) and you could end up in a few different places (Lord Pellham, Lady from future encounter and perhaps another dubious gentleman from Bravil). Third parties addons would certainly be possible (and welcome). Key variable to remember is assigning IchSlaveQuest.PlayerWithQuest to 1. This is the main variable for stopping generic slave stuff happening. The Vampire Encounter is currently canned. I could not think of enough to keep it interesting and different. I may resurrect it, if I am suitably inspired. Ragindude: Any city should do it ... assuming I have not forgotten any more zones. Anywhere outside but inside the city itself (e.g. the bedrolls added in the last update)
sigtrinature Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Some questions here. [spoiler=Hello Sailor]The quest text says you are tied to the bed, is there an animation that is supposed to play while in this stage (i belive its stage10 or 20), since I am able to walk around in leash range. Could you add another menu in order to set the amount of times you have to repeat a certain process (except the breaking), for exmaple the amount of times you have to do the pellham encounters (So instead of beeing e.g. If MastersFavour >= 50 it would be something like If MastersFavour >= IchSlavequest.Repeats- btw this is just what I guess it should look like i have pretty much no idea of actual CS scripting)Again a very nice job! Thanks a lot for the new encounter.
Ichabod Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 sigtrinature: No animations. It just means your new leash point is the bed The number of uses are very variable to the encounter so would probably not fit a fixed number too well. Vandals01: I shall look at that again. You need the Use option to reset the debuff. That was one I just put in as someone requested it. Not tested enough it seems.
mktneko Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Hi! Ever since upgrading to the latest version, when I exit the game and load up a save where Hello Sailor has started, the game loads into a plain black screen and there's no music or anything. It just stays black. I updated my OBSE to beta 2 on the front page.
Ichabod Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 mktneko: Odd. Not come across that. Closest I have found was when the screen went black after being thrown threw a wall post-sex. Quitting the game and reloading fixed that. Only happened once so far. I assume the reloads are all within the whorehouse itself?
mktneko Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 If I reload the save in the same session without quitting the game, I can load the whorehouse saves. It's only when I exit the game that I can't load those saves. I'll test to see if this occurs with the other encounters.
Miala Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I still fail to trigger the Sailor quest. Tried the new game. Tried to reinstall the mod. Tried to reinstall all related mods and plugins. Still nothing. /headdesk.
Tepi Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I still fail to trigger the Sailor quest. Tried the new game. Tried to reinstall the mod. Tried to reinstall all related mods and plugins. Still nothing. /headdesk. If you have even a bit of know-how of CS, you could try increasing the quest priority of rough streets to, say 100, 90 or something. Thats what enabled those sleep events for me. Dunno if its pluggy thing or what but atleast I can enjoy those encounters now.
sigtrinature Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Ok thanks, i was afraid to be missing some kfs You could import the variable at the beginning of each respective script and make a definition by cases. Although this is probably not too important at this point (just a suggestion^^).
kathol Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Ok, this has worked twice for me on new characters. It might or might not work on old games or another mod setup. Make new character, wait for all mods to initialize. Set player slave settings. At this point, the set ichsq02roughstreets.sleepvictim to 4 does not work. Sleep. First time I rested 40 hours in one hour increments. Second time, Once for 24 hours but was interrupted for some reason after about 10. Not sure why. Save, quit, the restart. Command then works both time and teleports me to hello Sailor. Haven't had time to test the other sleep quests or on an old save.

kathol Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Restart the game. Did it a third time with only one hour sleep, though the sleep seems to be needed. Doesn't work if you just save and restart. Also used three different beds in three different locations. As a side note. I do not have pluggy installed and I am using OBSE .2
Polonium Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Well, it sort of works, though just entering in the code shouldn't since that part of the script ought to only run while in menu mode if I can read the script correctly. Anyway, I followed your instructions and it worked twice on five or six attempts. I have no idea why or why not.
Nightwynd Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Quite an awesome update! I went through all of the Hello Sailor quest and I loved it. Quests like these are what make Lovers really shine. I have a few questions though! After I complete the quest and killed the Madam and her thugs I got a message the place was now mine and the Madam's daughter would see which girls wanted to say. I went off for a couple in-game days and when I returned the place was in the same state. Is this normal? I mean, the girls are still in cuffs, they still have their enslaved dialog and they still get raped by the customers (judging by the voices-dialog). I am missing something here or is this how it is supposed to stay? Oh btw, I was thinking of making some custom painting and banner textures more in the style of these old brothel nude paintings , but I guess it would be too much of a hassle to change them?
Eternally_Dark Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I'm having some major issues! It seems like all the slave scripts start up, but don't keep tabs on what's going on. For example, when I get myself captured by the slavers, I don't get any journal entries, the events don't fire after I've been enslaved (there's no dialogue between the slavers about me, I don't get punished, I don't get 'trained', etc.) I also don't get abused, that is after the initial capture no more lover's animations trigger. Also, if I try to load up a different character (from one that's been enslaved) they're forced in to the enslaved animation (and they shouldn't be), and the same controls are locked off.I've tried changing the load order, updated pluggy, and updated OBSE. Could there be something I'm missing? Or am I just getting really unlucky with load orders? Or am I getting to far ahead of myself?(By the by, it's so far been an excellent mod!)Edit: Or... I fixed it?
Nightwynd Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Oh btw, to anyone having troubles with the quests, try deleting the .pluggy file associated to your last save, in your Oblivion saves folder. That should do the trick.
Ichabod Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Polonium: The assignment of the victim code works in sleep mode. The meat of the code is located in gamemode above. Nightwynd: Glad you enjoyed the scenario. Hello Sailor could do with a touch more polish but it is generally done. I am putting an amendment so it completes on the last stage. If you serve the customers now you are in charge, you should get money for it. Not a lot but something. Also once a week, the young Ms Lagarde should have a new conversation topic on the weekly earnings. The containers in the Madam's room should not respawn and can be used as a home. Cheers for the pointer on the pluggy save. Eternally_Dark: There is still an issue with slavery mode hanging over to new loads. Is this the slaver camp on the river? Some people have reported issues with being captured too close/in the camp. Being captured further away has resolved the issue (e.g. At Vilverin). It is something I need to investigate.
theskid Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I can confirm the slavery thing continuing into a reload...you need to quit to main menu and reload and that clears it, or you are stuck without all your controls.
dunmer_out_and_about Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Great Mod! However I've got a question and a suggestion regarding the "Hello Sailor" quest: [spoiler=A question]After serving the customers for some time, I went into the cellar. I talked to the orc, opened the handcuffs and took the sword in the orc's chest. Then I opened the locked cellar room , killed the thug in there and took his armor and weapon.Upon returning to the first floor, the madam and one thug attacked me immediately. After killing them, I went to the top floor looking for the remaining two thugs. I found those two sleeping, so I sneak attacked them, killing them immediately. My sneak attack on the first sleeping thug registered as murder, triggering the Dark Brotherhood quest. Is this meant to be that way, even after the madam and the thug on the ground floor had been set to hostile? [spoiler=Suggestion]It would be nice if the brothel customers had new, more polite, responses to the "May I serve you" topic after you've completed the quest. It feels a bit inappropriate to get the same old "worthless whore"-style responses after you've slaughtered the previous madam and her thugs right in front of them and taken over the whole business. Those guys should show the new mistress of the house some respect!
mem4ob4 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Reloading a non-enslaved save after being enslaved and not having control? Try this and see if it clears it up- Enter a menu (tab, f1, f2, f3, or f4) and hold right control key for a moment. Exit menu and see if that does the trick. Mem
luinil Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Ok seem to have 0.61 running ok now. 2 mods I added recently Rolled back rapersS wappyShadowRunner to RaperSGangBang(might roll forwards if PSE work ok for a while) Could not bring myself to uninstall Tamago Discharge Tried upgrading to obse 21 -> no effect still not working Did not try pluggy upgrade as I am running same versionas Ishy ( excuse the short version its just a habit of south australians everything gets truncated football -> footy etc) So I downloaded all the files not just the ones that Ichy said need to be upgraded and did a install, started PSE from clean save - rough justice working ok. Tried sleeping at the elven ruins just opposite the tutorial area with slavery mode on sleep chance 10 percent - did not work but i did notice that that area seem to not allways load properly - perhaps caused by monster girl demon hive.Fast travelling away and back from that area usually fixes it.Anyway so i tried quitting and reloading sans pluggy data but this just cause instability and crashes (guess I should have switched off hud stuff ) OK so restored pluggy data and tried sleeping somewhere else - worked fine np Went back to elven ruins slept there no problem- worked ok went to anvil slept in city but outside and sleep event seem tp fired but load screen locked up quit buy tried again with console commands to fire hello sailor worked fine np just a question on sleep encounters is it random for them ?Can u trigger a particular one by sleeping in particular areas? How do the key things work with hello sailor i o p I think are you supposed to just press and hold the keys or mash em like you are playing a shooter?
Ichabod Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Dunmer: Murder is set by Oblivion itself. I think you get that if you kill anyone not in combat with you (I usually get the DB visit at level one or two due to that). As you took them unawares, it counts as murder even though if they woke up they would try and kill you. More than once I have arrived back in the IC to find the Conjurer I shived in the kidneys got me a big bounty. I will look at adding some slightly more respectful (but not much...you're whoring after all) replies. Luinil: Glad to hear you are back on track. Doing some amendments for V0.62: WappyOne has overhauled the Player Slave Settings spell to a fully variable version. Many thanks there. Ganredhel will have disposition modifier on her after Dog Days so she will be more friendly. Adding a new NPC who may approach the player to get her in trouble. Amended Hello Sailor to complete the mission for those who like tidy quest screens.
