rk14 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Hi, I recently came back to modding New Vegas and updated Sexout Spunk with the most recent version. When loading a game it gives an error "Spunk has detected that your version of JIP is 53 while it needs 51 or higher. It will close your game to avoid errors. Please double-check Spunk's requirements on its download page." I also updated the SCR, Pregnancy, and Breeder at the same time. The game was working just fine until I updated these.
dborg2 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 The error tells you, you need to update the JIP NVSE plugin. So go to Nexus and update JIP. 1
DoctaSax Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 True, I enforced a JIP update to deal with a change that happened there, but forgot to adjust the message, which is why it reads kinda wrong.
Lord_Wilhelm Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 I have a same problem whit Spunk. When loading a game it gives an error "Spunk has detected that your version of JIP is -1 while it needs 51 or higher. It will close your game to avoid errors. Please double-check Spunk's requirements on its download page." My version of JIP is 55.05! Other requirements have all: NVSE, NVSE EX., SCR, Sexout Pregnancy V3 (latest version SexoutPregnancyV3-20190213.1, the previous version have same error), SexoutPregnancyV3-Data-20131126, MCM. So what is the problem? Other mods works whit JIP vers. 55. Why can`t Spunk check the version number correct? (I now my English is bad). 1

I've scoured the sites for updates but none seem to want to work with me; I'd appriciate help. That little popup closes the game despite me giving it everything it wants. 1
LvciLu Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 first time user of the program and i keep getting the same error
Deviancy Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 The last version on Nexus will cause crashes and other fun stuff, I recommend using the version below it, he has a lost of many earlier versions, the one right before the latest fixes all the issues though. It may be linked to the fact I use the GOG version but I doubt it.   1

emo877 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Maybe it's lame variant, but i stopped at pre-JIP v0.97hotfix6 (https://www.loverslab.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=389040) and wouldn't try again to switch to 1.+ version. Possibly i'll make some script fixes (peeking into newest version and finding workarounds; i already added there some rough substitute for SpunkFuIsActorTrackable, because it was required for YLustDrugsRocknRoll, used getrespawn check instead of JIP'getActorTemplate check to reject leveling actors - didn't tested it widely, but somehow it looks working). This my entry, it's not about JIP or Spunk, just about how i'm lazy and do not want to keep running after "progress" to keep things working - all in all, it's just a game..

I hope this helps someone else, because frankly this was kind of a shot in the dark. 2
kurona666 Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 it's the same for me it closes my game every time i have the mod on and idk how to fix it Â

dongding Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 (edited) New version of JIPNVSE work absolutely fine with Sexout. Be sure that, when using JIPNVSE, you also use the newest versions of xNVSE (because that is a hard requirement for JIPNVSE to work correctly)! Edited September 27, 2021 by dongding

I'm still not able to get it to work and I've tried both the oldest and most recent versions on Nexus. I also have the most updated xNVSE. 1

The newest NVSE Extender is in the later thread pages of the NX download section. version 18 and older will give a version -1 warning on JIP NVSE and crash.
mandark2005 Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 Yes usin v19 of the extender and still the same error so wtf is going own
