Monoman1 Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Modded Skyrim is a beautiful thing when all your mods work together to improve the experience as a whole. And it has to be said, an absolute nightmare when they conflict. Some mods are designed to work together directly. But I was thinking how some mods were never intended (most likely) to work together but actually do work surprisingly well together. One example of what I mean is skooma whore and devious followers. As your characters addiction increases it becomes difficult to get a good nights sleep - "You wake sweating and shaking" & "You're too wired to sleep". Which in turn makes regaining resistance and willpower in devious followers more difficult. It makes sense that as your character becomes more exhausted her ability to resist would diminish. So your choices become: Chug down another skooma and become more addicted or go without sleep and have your follower begin playing 'games' with you. Anyone got any other good examples?
Yuni Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 This one's more funny than useful. Mod 1: The Amazing World of Bikini Armor Mod 2: Glev's Sexy Skyrim. I chose 'beast-focused' version, but others might apply. It replaces signage, banners, etc, with porn. Result: The Wolf Armor Bikini's front loincloth is made of bestiality porn. Reasoning: The Amazing World of Bikini Armor used largely Bethesda-provided textures to make sure the armor fit in with the rest of the world. The Wolf armor has the companion banner as the loincloth. The Companion's banner is replaced by porn because of Glev's Sexy Skyrim. When you've over-modded skyrim for so long, that your character is literally just wearing porn, not even armor anymore.
Grey Cloud Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Untamed, SLAC and PSQ Succubus. 1. Tick the 'additional creature types' box in Untamed and recruit a posse of skeletons (or whatever you prefer). 2. Walk along a road until you spot some Thalmor (or whoever you don't like). 3. Hit your team with the Succubus 'Hand of Desire' spell (raises arousal level). 4. Find a place to sit and crack out your flask and sandwiches and enjoy the show. 'By the gods, I can't believe this is happening . . .' Timing is Everything, The Choice is Yours and The Manipulator. These allow so much control over the game.
valcon767 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 example 1 - SOTGenesis, Deadly Wenches (with equip upgrades addons), and EC+ Enter a cavern that has dead bandits at one end and live falmer at the other. Genesis takes a couple of seconds to spawn in the "extras". watch the carnage when Deadly Wenches "upgrades" the upgraded new bandits (who have better than normal gear) go ballastic on the falmer, while having to deal with the Chaurus pets getting their chances at female bandits due to EC+ triggering. now that is funny to watch. example 2 - Player Exhibitionist, FMEA, and DEC (mod that takes advantage of naked/deviced pc, and can add devices), Cursed Loot (Nudity law mod), POP, Simple Slavery, and Slaverun Reloaded go to use alchemy station, FMEA kicks in with its failure to create, knocks pc out, dec triggers causing r*pe of pc, PE is triggered preventing getting dressed, runs outside to get away from r*pers, get arrested, arresting person gets to "have fun" with pc, go to jail, get whipped and all that while in jail, get released, and receive more presents (devices), DEC triggers again (deviced pc), and get arrested again (by same person as last time to boot), after 2nd jail trip, instead of being released get sold at auction to Pike (Slaverun Reloaded). All just because you wanted to make a potion. Example 3 - Player Exhibitionist, Trade and Barter, Cursed Loot (nudity law mod) POP stop in Whiterun to sell a few junk weapons, Adrienne will not trade until naked (PE), get bad prices (you are naked and get worse prices), prices lowered again (it not normal shop times), prices are worse yet again (Trade and Barter), get nudity fined, end up paying 750 gold to sell a few junky weapons that made you a whopping 50 gold, then spend a week in jail (because you did not have enough cash to pay the fines). p.s. yes, i have actually had all three of those happen to me at one time or another.
manchuligans Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Warzones 2015, Immersive Patrols, OBIS, Genesis, Genesis Towers, Genesis Surface Spawns, and the Populated Skyrim series. My Skyrim was a total warzone. I couldn't get from Whiterun to Rorikstead without getting torn to pieces. Eventually I had to drop Warzones to lighten my Papyrus load, but I still have the others in my load order. Oh yeah, I also had Animallica installed, so when it wasn't enemies it was every animal imaginable attacking me. Here's an example of a massive patrol. It's hard to see because of the lighting, but the patrol goes from the upper left of the screenshot to the lower right and it wasn't finished going by.

I've had similar scenarios - Thalmor, OBIS bandits, spiders, goblins, wolves and over-confident mudcrabs engaged in a major free for all. Maddest ones are those where skellies from one of those altar things get pulled in. They usually have a necro mage who does resurrect dead and you get resurrected this, that, or the other springing up as soon as it dies.
faky Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 any succubus mod + kill on sight (old and niche mod from nexus, with some tweaks (it was abandoned) it turns nearly all of skyrim hostile...

The worst one I had was a long time ago when I had SkyTEST or some other animal mod loaded. I got torn apart by a pack of massive wolves every single time I came out of the Helgen cave with Ralof. I had to drop the mod!

It's a jungle out there.
Lostdreamer Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 All of the extra trees & grass + all of the extra monsters & encounters = No sightlines & loads of cover. Bandit ambushes and monsters everywhere, and a good reason to stick to the roads because the wilderness really is dangerous! Loot & Degradation + Deviously Cursed Loot = You have to loot enemies for better / replacement gear, but can trigger DCL when you do. Contraband + anything that makes public sex / whatever a crime + Prison Overhaul = If you talk to the guards to pay your bounty and try to avoid PO, you lose most of your gear 'cause it's all stolen off corpses. All of the extra bandits + Defeat = armies of bandits everywhere fucking you for hours Apropos + Sexlab Wear & Tear + Sexlab mortality + skooma whore + etc = Ow! Bad Sex! & sneaking around town find places to hide to heal. Trying to avoid the sex sequence is more fun than you might think... I'm sure there are plenty I've forgotten.

Bad Sex! & sneaking around town find places to hide to heal. Trying to avoid the sex sequence is more fun than you might think... I'll have to try a lineup with Sexlab Mortality, Sexlab Adventures (set to minimum cooldown and steal all items, of course!), Skooma Whore and Defeat to see what happens. I'm in the middle of setting up a new lineup because I want to drop my custom followers into Skyrim as standalone followers instead of through Familiar Faces. I want to lighten my script load and have all my custom faces in game, not just 12. My ultimate goal is to make a standalone NPC follower for every interesting hairstyle in KS Hairdos and ApachiiHairs. It would be like another Inconsequential NPCs except with custom beauties. If you've seen my posts in the Skyrim Counterparts III thread, that's pretty much theme of their appearances. I'm also making a player home. There are some great player houses out there (I currently use Elysium Estate), but I want to combine the great qualities of several mods into one. Strangely enough, one of my favorite player homes was the Whiterun Undercroft in Hidden Hideouts of Skyrim City Edition. I used Jaxon's Position to remove objects I didn't want and then I duplicated a water plane for the pool, and few big objects for replacement walls, and then I roamed Skyrim looking for interesting objects to duplicate and haul back to my home. It worked out nicely, but it was just too morbid to keep my characters and her followers living in a stinky old tomb. There were also problems with lights and things I couldn't fix without the creation kit and so on, so I finally decided to take the plunge and learn how to create a custom home in the creation kit. Qualities I'm trying to implement: - A social center. A place where my army of followers can gather, relax and play idle anims. Usually it's more of a dining room with people sitting at a table, which doesn't do it for me. I'm going to have an area with chairs and benches surrounding pelts, rugs and pillows in front of a warm fireplace, that's big enough for a number of followers to sit in a semicircle as if they're relaxing, talking and socializing. I might have a separate dining room. - A lounge or bar that can support a social gathering without being a vast space. - A crowded social pool and hot springs, where my followers can sit in the warm relaxing water three to a bench and have snacks and drinks. This would also have a mini beach. - A library with more seating and reading anims. - An intimate warm sleeping area. - All of these areas would be pretty close to each other, interconnected, and easy to see so I can see my followers relaxing and idling. - A small arena. - Hidden surprise features! - And of course a nice crafting area in a separate cell, so the followers don't bang on the workbenches constantly. BANG! BANG! BANG! "Sweetie, would you stop that? I'm trying to sleep." "It's always a nice day with you around!" "Thank you, Sweetie. Now would you please stop that?" BANG! BANG! BANG! "Sweetie, you can knock it off or I'll take you to a Genesis Tower again. Would you like that? I thought not. Thank you Sweetie."
valcon767 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 another good synergy comes (under the right circumstances) with Devious Followers Beta and Deviously Enslaved Continued. DEC can equip devious devices onto player, and under the right circumstances DFB can then take advantage of the player by playing a game. enter a dungeon, in debt to follower (between 1/2 and full enslavement debt) or with low enough willpower (as measured by DFB), have follower find "bondage gear the player missed" and equips it to player. if it happens to be the right type of "bondage gear" follower can then play a game with the player.

Jinxxed0 Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 EFF and My Home is Your Home: Recruit literally any NPC with EFF. Use MHIYH dialog to have them live where ever you want and have whatever schedule you want.
Distortedrealms Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Best one yet was going to Raldbthar and having to fight a few centurion masters to even get inside thanks to Warzones, once inside, because of a few mods ie: Bandits glory(with the grenade launcher/rifle wielding bandits), Obis, Enemizer (spawning 6X clones for every bandit), and Genesis spawning like 20 of its own bandits also being cloned by Enemizer I must have encountered about 150+ bandits in the initial parts of the dungeon alone. I play solo and stood little chance, so I went in and threw some grenades from the Throwing weapons lite mod down the incline where bandits were blocking the entrance and sent them flying but alerted all enemies. I used the ethereal form shout which gave me about ten seconds to run through the hordes and somehow dodging many attacks with TK Dodge afterwards, made it to where the Dwarven spider, and sphere attacked, and by then many bandits were so close to my ass they could have kissed it but thanks to the automatons who were fueled my Revenge of the enemies with OTT spells they took out plenty of bandits before they were swarmed and destroyed but it was enough for my character to have a moments respite. I turned the corner where the dwarven rotor trap was and carefully climbed to the top and looked back. Sure enough dozens of bandits came at me like mad fools and set off the trap killing hordes of them but amazingly some juggernauts from High Level Enemies, and bandits glory even made it up what with their insane health I was in a tricky spot. I ran further in and encountered a Dwemer Spectre from the mod of the same name and hid behind a pipe. The spectre noticed the bandits and Fuz roh Doh'd their asses back down into the rotors and after a few repeat tries to get back up that was the end of the army of bandits. I took out the spectre with ease and continued my journey. So a few mods mixing together for one intense challenge. Edit: Why does my text have a black background to them?
