First of all before i start this thread , rockstar i wanna thank you for ruining max payne and other games, thank god im a Red dead redemption Fan where's the sequel RDR game did you guys forget about that no instead we got this shitty trailer i was expect something awesome like sleeping dogs , but nooooo we want to make Vacation Trailer based " WTF mountain hiking" that's like holy shit what happen to GTA tradition tragic story and all that.

Let's be honest here, and reflect Grand theft auto and all her glory why sand andreas Deserve better comparing to sleeping dogs they took years to be like Sand andreas, GTA SA is like 98% superior then sleeping dogs but nothing close to SD experience much richer story.

 

anyway back on track after years waiting GTA V is hitting Teaser and this is what we got what a bunch of bullshit effort is that , at least put some gun fights or something , u don't see sleeping dogs teaser liek that at least they put some action to it.

Mate that trailer has been out for absolutely ages now and the only thing Rockstar have released since then are a few odd screenshots. It's just a trailer to set the scene and atmosphere for the game, there's no actual gameplay in it whatsoever.

 

It's way too early to make any assumptions about the game yet, I just don't get how you're so wildly raging about it at this stage.

 

The only thing that does grind my gears is the game's name. We had GTA 3 > Vice City > San Andreas > GTA 4 and now GTA 5. In reality this game should be to GTA 4 what VC and SA were to GTA 3, in other words it shouldn't be called GTA 5 but GTA 4: Vinewood/Los Santos, GTA: San Andreas 2 etc. Anything but GTA 5.

So far, it looks rather nice, IMO. Visual detail, lighting etc - all improved. As long as there aren't any impossible mountainbike races...

The main thing I'm rooting for is better car handling. For a game in which you're supposed to be doing all these superduper car chases, that part of the gameplay has always been disappointing.

Max Payne 3 wasn't bad, it played well, had a good story, and was strangely optimized as well. But the only thing is that you don't make a story like this for a third installment. More over when you play the game, it feels as if Rockstar make this game to demonstrate their GTA4 Engine, and not to expand on Max's story.

 

Now if GTA5 is like GTA4, unoptimized.. I'm not giving them my money OR borrowing it from my friend. Better off without playing it.

Secondly, Never judge a game based of trailers, screenshots and hype.

When the final product is in your hands and you've had a good few hours testing it, then you can judge.

 

Who remembers this trailer?

 

 

Now how shit does that look compared to the game actually released? It didn't even scratch the surface of what the game really was.

 

 

Now lets look at the complete reverse in 10 different games:

So in conclusion don't make your damn assumptions until they can be made valid by playing the finished product.
