Jhonnythefavoritecostumer Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Well the easiest to use in my experience is exactly mod organizer. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/? Not sure this version would work for special edition since I have not tried it.
myuhinny Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Never had a problem using NNM (nexus mod manager) though I use a older version that doesn't get updated.
kboom Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Skyrim Mod Organizer has some bug(BodySlide and OutFit Studio) but have some advantage. If you want stable and solid i would suggest Nexus mod manager.
A Bitter Doggo Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Migrated from NMM to MO once they started to update it beyond recognition. I don't regret anything.

Darkpig Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Start with manual XD That way you know what to do when you mess up shit.
RedMonika Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Depends... Are you addicted to mods and will restart a new game just to use something new? Are you going to fidget around with armor textures or recreate armor packs for your taste? Do you want complete control of not only your load order but texture order as well? Are you going to reinstall Skyrim every month? Are you going to have so many mods that you're going to spend hours just to merge esps together? If you answered yes to the above I'd highly recommend Mod Organizer and, perhaps, to get out more. Do you just want to load mods and play without any other thought to anything else? If this is yes, then NMM would be the way to go.
monsta88 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Mod Organizer, all the way. For Skyrim, use the version 1.3.11. Do not try the 2.0.8.3, it is half-assed since Tannin left the development. Hopefully the guys who took over will get it together, but it's been too long since the last release. Anyway, the MO 1.3.11 works like a charm. It takes some time to learn it (user friendliness it not its forte), but then you won't want to use anything else. Everything works with it well, (FNIS, SKSE, Bodyslide, LOOT, Wrye Bash, etc), there are guides how to install them properly. Have fun, M
