While I appreciate what the mod does to the womenfolk of Cyrodiil, I don't like what it does to Argonians or Khajiit. Is there a quick way to edit the .esp?

While I can quickly arrange all of the NPC's according to race and gender in the CS, I can't set anything to ignore (as far as I know).

The only way to do that is to open the "Details" page while selecting the mod, but I can only clump all NPC's into a seemingly random order there. Considering how many NPC's there are overall, the thought of checking and double checking each and every one of them is quite daunting... :s

Greetings. I'm curious if anyone knows if it is alright to use tes4edit to clean xeoex.esp? (xeosp v1 version)

Reason i ask is it involves a long series of annoying obse crashes' date=' and my attempts to find which mod continues to cause the "exact" same two crash offsets when OBSE is blamed by windows.

Originally i went already through most of my load order disabling pretty much every single obse mod one by one, until i reached the UOP and its vwalk file. disabling the vwalk began a series of nonsensical uop 3.40 esp re-installs until magically all began to work fine, and obse wouldn't commit suicide running into the easiest place for the crash to happen; CoC Testinghall -> go into either clothing or armor then poof obse crash at offset 4f945. If obse crashes it will nearly always be at that offest, does not matter if in testinghall, north of the imperial city, south east of the imperial city, fast travel to the fort north of weye, the front arc of bruma's gate, etc

Either way, stupidly thinking all is now fine while rebuilding the original load order. I create another new character, and teleport to testinghall, then charge into the rooms thinking all is fine as a check. Of course the game crashes instead blaming obse via the same damn offset, quickly disabling uop, uop vwalk, and even the SI version would continue to crash until i desided to again disable every single obse using esp and dll. This time starting with Xeoex, and behold obse refuses to crash in testinghall for the moment. Peering into xeoex.esp i do notice it does share a bunch of worldspace, and cell edits that are the same as oblivion.esm, but i have no clue if these are fine to remove or not.

Sure, clean away. Just remember: before you clean it to make a backup in case cleaning breaks the mod.

Another alternative is to download a mod that has argonians and khajiits like you want them to look and placing that esp below the Xeo esp in your load order. Quick and easy fix. It is not the "best" fix due to using up an extra two esp slots.

There is also from2chan lives which is similar to crowded roads and also uses MBP. from2chan lives adds about 300 NPC's all around the country side with various schedules.

I would go for the From2Chan version. You're already half way there with MBP support - and the F2C NPCs make good, solid partners when used with Mad Companionship Spells.

Concerning Crowded Roads:

This is in "spoiler" tags because I know this is an MBP and XEO thread. While I can't speak for Crowded Roads itself (it was too crowded for me; all the bandits & highwaymen end up dead before I get anywhere near them), the spin-off mod Crowded Roads - Less Crowded Roads has a large number of insanely leveled enemy NPCs.

That mod (Less Crowded Roads) has lvl 100 hostiles who will insta-kill important (but not essential) NPCs, and there's a good chance (if you save your game at the wrong time) that you will not be able to progress. Die - reload your save - die again. AND they drop crap.

I'm sure the modder is having a good laugh over this, but open Crowded Roads and / or Less Crowded Roads in the CS and check out the NPCs before you decide to use it. It might be more work than its worth to modify it.

I'm going to "fix" the NPCs in Less Crowded Roads right now (I'm sick of getting insta-killed), but I don't have XEO. I just planned on fixing the lvls.

I'll look into MBP-ing it, though. And I will upload it without asking permission, too. I'll just call it something different.

So I'm thinking I want to give this God awful mess a go and try to install these mods. Couple quick questions though.

1) Are the instructions from the OP still valid? Not to mention DL links still available?

2) Will these work with HGEC bodies?

Thanks!

Xeo instructions and links are still valid in the OP of this thread.

MBP instructions and links go here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1602

Yes, MBP and Xeo work great with HGEC.

You can have both MPB and XEO right? First you install all the MPB files then XEO and XEO++

That is correct. Make sure you use XeoSP v1 and then install XeoSP++.

Instructions for Xeo install and links are in the OP of this thread.

See my above response for MBP instructions and links.

Is it just me, or are the Xeosp++ links down or something? They don't work, and when I translate the page with google translate it says:

"Oh! Extract the code does not exist! May wish to Soso it out!"....

I have a problem with this...... The game crashes right when it's loading for the Main Menu. I never had this before. I just recently have to recover my computer and everything was gone, and I have to redownloaded them. I first put in Fankaizhi's Manga Body for the body replacer, then I installed MBP according to Rouge13's instructions (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=16020) After that, I installed XEOSP and XEOSP++ using the instructions shown in this thread. Here is my loading order:

Oblivion.esm

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed.esm

xeosp++.esp

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

VipCxj_HighHeels.esp

VipCxjHHTest.esp

Specialanims.esp

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Disable BandBlindMask.esp

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Sheogorath Eye.esp

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Vanilla Race.esp

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Merged Hair Modules.esp

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Merged Eye Modules.esp

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed MS Elves - NoSc.esp

DiabloEF 6 in 1.esp

DancingGirlDMRAcup.esp

Hentai DMRA Collection.esp

I even used BOSS to sort it. Solution?

Wangjj101, Disable all esm/esp files except:

Oblivion.esm

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

and see if you can start your game. If you start fine then add back the MBP esm/esp files and try again. Then add your other mods one at a time to see what is crashing things.

I'm pretty sure everyone interested in this isn't reading the topic anymore. But I solved the Argonian problem for myself.

I just got a copy of TNR and loaded the argonian plugin after XEOSP++, then I get nicer and prettier everyone else and lizard like lizards. I did NOT expect it to work as seamlessly.

I found out that each race uses a slightly different body structure so I wanna ask if there's a way to change character's body in game? Since I'm currently playing Chanpon race and the body is not very suitable (darker with public hair) I've tried many things including mods

Ok' date=' I guess I am not up to snuff. Can we get an exact load order and links? Please and thank you, been trying this for 4 days and now have a vanilla installation. What next?

Note the 115 links DO work you just have to click on the white box that is the far right in the line of green, blue, red then white boxes.

I managed to do everything instructed above as per page http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=13&page=41.

Almost.

I had trouble with the bsa. I didn't get the bsa from the Chinese link quoted above, because I couldn't find anywhere to click and download it. It doesn't have a white box to click after green, red and blue boxes like the Chinese skinset link has. Instead, I got the bsa in three parts from

http://www.mediafire.com/?c3aesx8diww020u

http://www.mediafire.com/?kd2kaad9hph8eva and

http://www.mediafire.com/?md04qo0c1qwt7xa

as instructed elsewhere on this thread.

I assumed I was supposed to join the three parts using hjsplit. I did so and got an archive. But when I tried to unpack the archive, I got the message "no archives found". I downloaded the three parts again, joined them, and tried to unpack the archive a second time with the same result.

What am I doing wrong?

By the way. Gregathit, I admire your patience.

thanks for mediafire links :shy:
