Unzipping it requires a password but I was able to find it. The password is "DoNotSharePublicly"

It might look like only a few sprites are edited but as they say in those comments it's been updated and there's a lot more.

It crashes at the beginning when you get to Wally. But it's because all the pokemon are female but Wally is supposed to find a male ralts. Noss posted in that thread 11 hours ago "Hey, if anyone is still having this problem, you can get a program called Pokemon Game Editor, allow male Ralts to spawn for that event (because Wally's is always male and that's what's causing the issue) then edit it back again."

But you could also just use a non-modified rom to get a save right after Wally finds the ralts and then load the save with the modified rom.

My husband and I are creating multiple versions for pokered. We will start releasing on Patreon for August. 

3 different NSFW versions will include:
V1 - Pokered Standalone with gen 1 NSFW trainers
V2 - Pokered Standalone with gen 2 NSFW trainers

V3 - Pokered GBC with Gens 2 and some added QoL & personal (alt version ideas)

 

Things we want to look more into:

Trying to use the dark rising patch on a fire red rom causes the emulator to just have a flashing screen between white and what would normally be the first frame of the intro with the copyright information. Trying to use the fire red patch on a fire red rom causes flips to say the patch isn't intended for this rom. I already had all the others but I checked to see what the emerald hacks were and those two did work.

To be clear about the dark rising one, the problem occurs when the dark rising patch is applied. If I apply the nude patch after it still has the problem, but it happens even if only the dark rising patch is applied.

you have a version thats nsfw, but nudity isnt a part of it since its not part of the first step? are they in suggestive outfits? cause id also be fine with that.

I wasnt clear about what the first steps were, I meant overworld sprites when I had mentioned nude sprites. There is nudity in all of them.

First steps are:
All female trainers - nude for the three different versions.

 

3 Versions:
V1 has only Gen 1 Nude Trainer Sprites(including overworld sprites)
V2 has only Gen 2 Nude Trainer Sprites(including overworld sprites)
V3 is a Custom Version of Pokered GBC with Gens 2 Nude Trainer Sprites(including overworld sprites) and some added QoL & personal (alt version ideas) 

 

Anything after that is just additional things we wouldn't mind looking into. Hopefully that clears up some of the confusion.

Though, I wonder, does anyone mod the DS games? It always seems like the GB/GBA ones are hacked.

I tried them again and they're working this time but the Dark Rising patch freezes whenever battles with certain trainers start. The girl at the first town, and the girl in the woods outside the first town that's a mandatory battle and thus blocks off the game. Several edited sprites do work, but those ones freeze the game.

I found out how to edit the sprites in gen 3 pokemon (It's surprisingly extremely easy)
So I *****might****** consider doing some gen 3 sprite edits.

Granted I don't have any ideas  so I'm already at a dead end. Not to mention I'm recovering from major burnout from my own personal projects.

Hex Maniac Advance lets you look at the image addresses and you can edit them directly from there.

Wow, thats a lot easier then the method I've been trying which involves like eight EXEs for extracting and locating and editing and colourbalancing and finding space and re-packing.
