Where can I find the match_index_count number 48?
I want to know this technique because I can only use the first index and have trouble erasing the arm decorations.

I'll assume that you already know how to do an F8 dump to find all the files to work with since you know about "match_first_index."

TN has a habit of making objects like that with several layers (even in DOA5). You'll notice it on anything that has any fur-like qualities (bunny tails, bunny ears, that armband, etc). For this, they add a ton of the same mesh and layer it over itself.

If you look at the dumped text files for the hash the armband is in, take a look at the file sizes of them. You'll see a lot of the smaller ones have identical sizes (down to the byte) which means it contains almost identical information, just a different first index number. You *could* add all of these separately using the first index numbers but it would take ages, and your code would have likely over 20 texture overrides.

Using all three of these observations, and you'll notice that the smaller text documents that repeat several times both contain an index count of 48 and 72 (located on the line right below the first index numbers). So instead of telling 3dfix to ignore the first index number of that specific hash, tell it to ignore anything that has those specific index counts.

This will not work for everything of course, but if you find any meshes that look layered, give that a shot before doing everything one by one.

Thank you for your kindness!
I recently checked the first index with blender, so I failed to check the document ...
The question was solved and I was very refreshed. Thank you!

I still can't get Steam to allow me to install this.

True with most Storefronts with region locked content.  You will have to register a new Steam account claiming you're from a location allowed to download the game.  Singapore was the location I chose.   If you have a VPN to reroute your traffic through Singapore, than even better.  But I don't recall Steam verifying my IP when I made the account.

You can then install the game under your new account.  If you don't want to bother switching between Steam accounts, you'll need to enable Family Sharing so your original account can play games installed by your Singapore account (or wherever you chose).  Once installed, Steam doesn't care where you're account is from when playing.

---------------------------------------------

Advanced tip for laziness when creating foreign acocunts.  E-mail services like gmail actually give you multiple aliases addresses you can register by simply adding or removing a period from your address.  Example: an e-mail sent to not.a.real.address@gmail.com will go to the same mailbox as notarealaddress@gmail.com and vice versa.  So if you only have one e-mail address you can register it multiple times from different locations by simply adding a period to your address.

Ok, so can they be "applied" to an SR costume I already own?

They are only usable for SRs you get during the event that they dropped. Otherwise, they can be converted into VIP points (not coins).

How do I fix this?

Thanks

You need to replace the body mesh. Do it according to the video tutorial from the first post of this topic (orange letters " Mod Tool and tutorial can be find here:").

Don't use the latest version of Blender (the plugin will not work), take exactly the version which is in the tutorial.

Maybe he wanted to tell you that Knight 77's "knight77_SR_Event_Xmas" was probably stuck in an update
Maybe he didn't know which mod was this
If he wants to fix it individually you are right
