Reskin with usage of amazing MAA skin from ZIMIK, into "Shieldmaiden" class i took from Xelsword standalone classes as basis

(keep in mind - you cannt use my edited "Shieldmaiden" class and original "Shieldmaiden" class from Xel at the same time, chose only one)

Feel free to use only skin if you will want, without my class i chosed for it (usual deal), also feel free to edit|expand my NSFW edit further, im fine with that, as usual

For class rebalance i used some new patterns i was want to figure out - in simple words "stances|modes", it will help in further edits or in work with other mode|stance classes (like Lamia or Succubus)

Sadly i was not able implement all mechanics exactly how i was want to - but it was very usefull expirience, and i figured out a lot of new usefull things, also class rebalance in my opinion was made still good|nice to play with - not super unique, but different from original "just clone of MAA" Xel oneĀ 

If you will find any bugs - please contact with me, i myself during testing didnt catch anything buggy|breaking (even with my 200+ mods in proper playthrough)

Today i decided to make thing i was thinking long time before - match female voice lines for female skinned enemies

First of all i checked if its possible and i will be able to make it real - and yep, its possible

So - for now i made that for a lot of reskinned enemies variants i used as 2nd divercity "copy" with "Monster Variety Project" mod - it allows me to have in-game same time male and female version of same enemy (for example - female Cutthroat and male Cutthroat), at the same time, with random chance to spawn male or female, without any reloading or swaping skins

And now female version - will have female voice as well, immersion, as i loveĀ :)))

In case smone will want to try my version, or already using Monster Variety Project - share archive as it is in my game

Mod is pretty cool and stable (sort of), if you want to give it try

I also included in that edit of sounds vanilla Cultist Acolyte, Cultist Harpy, Crone and Unclean Giant (since i using for vanilla one female version as well) - so even vanilla ones will sounds like females, if you will use that edit

For now its done i guess on 80%, since i will add some more in future when more skins will be released, but for now its "final version", for all avaliable female reskins for enemies (bandits, cultists, etc, most of them in Xels reskins)

For SwineFolks i decided to stay with vanilla sounds, since they are half Beasts - so that sound fits them well and naturally

Its also containing corpses for some enemies who originally dont have them (for example Gargoyle, Rabid Dog, Maggot and etc), and "gore" corpses remade into "mild one", for my "unconsious roleplay" pattern

I also decided to go even greater things - resound Fallen Heroes, since originally they have only their skill sounded, but hit|death - fully silently

So - i checked for them if that possible, and yep - they can sound as well

For now i made only for 3 of them (for testing) - Vestal, MAA and Leper, in future will make for all of them, or when will have mood, of when encounter (since i encountering them pretty rare in my game)

For now no point to share version where only 3 from 30-50 heroes sounded, i guess

If smone using that mod and interested of how to make it - i can share that "test" version and describe how to easly resound them - its simple Notepad edit, with 4 strings for each heroe, just "copy-paste" of one of those test 3 first heroes strings and edit title|name of class

And very small edit variant for Xel Madwoman skin - made "Gagged" version for her, if smone will want that (for example - using "gagged" sound for Madman in their game), nothing too big

Hey I don't know if it's a well known fact or not, but i wanted to share a personal discovery with you guys.
Static sprites such as camp sprites can be animated just like the idle/combat/walk ones.

Here I replaced the vestal .skel and .atlas camp files with her idle .skel/.atlas

Never really looked up how the whole animation system works in DD so I didn't know that static and animated sprites were all handled the same way under the hood, but it seems so obvious now that i think about it.

I can tell you even more - even "combat skills" can be animated, i tried that pattern to figure out some times ago, and its possible to make not static sprite, easiest and smoothest way - to use "combat" animation and just edit into "skill" from it

Its just questionable to go into it by one reason - if you will make "camp", or "combat skill" animated for one heroe - you will be need to make same for ALL heroes, to stay in "style"|"in-game mechanic pattern"|"art style"

And since originally 99%-100% of classes holding original vanilla "static camp and combat skills" pattern - it will be need to edit for EVERY heroe (and enemy as well)

Decided to end today with ALL rest of resounding, spend 1-2 hours, and now its done (tomorrow probably already will start with Swine Reaver skin edit, at least thats the plan)

Most big amount rest of those resounds was for Fallen Heroes mod - now all of them sounding properly, depending of their sex (male or female), in original they had only their skills with sounds, but hurt|death|appear|crit - was silently

Now all properly and immersive

Feel free to use if you will want (or if you already playing with that Fallen Heroes mod)

(to use that resound - just replace "audio" folder inside "Fallen Heroes" mod with my edit, first was want to share whole FH mod - but its 400 MB, and LL forum dont want that)) So - only edited "audio" folder)

Btw if smone interested of how to make those sounds for female reskinned enemies - you can ask, will explain, way appeared to be pretty easy and simple (and cool for immersion|playing inside game), also whole edit can be done with simple Notepad, with simple "copy-paste"

Can anyone link me that one monster girl mod that made the ghoul (I think) into a werewolf monster girl? (She's squatting and smirking, dark gray fur if I remember right) I couldve sworn it was also the icon of the mod as well, and I can't find it anywhere for the life of me.

You can just modify your files to raise the chance to encounter, it's called ".card_chance 1.0" I usually set it to 20, you can always change it back after you'll get the hero.

I know, but its no point - since i have around 70 heroe classes right now in my game (and this count only rising each time when i adding new skin), and for realism|immersion - i keeping chance for encountering each of them same, so its same chance for EACH class to be in that prison cell for encounter event

Sure, i can manually roll for them, or even add strict town event to roll 100% - but it will be unfair and ruin my "immersive realistic pattern" for proper playthrough, which me and my perfectionism will not allow at allĀ :))

Ended today with restoration of original Xel "combat" after DragoneBone convertion -

95-99% same as original, also added in compare with original a little bit more (just around 5-10%) boob bounce - who can blame me for that ;)))
