So now only combat skill sprites left - around 4 or 5 i guess, or may be even less, since some of them have completly same body position, so will be "copy paste" for those after 1 sprite will be ready

 

I also decided to fix original ZIMIK face and body color mismatch (previously thought to left it as it is in original, but at the end my perfectionism was too uncomfortable with that) - now she has same body and face tone for all sprites (darker face to match body, in simple words)

3 sprites left to finish - probably to the end of this week already will be done) (in fact - its just 1 or 2 days of editing, depending of "how much lazy i will be"))

 

And will be left only class remake|rebalance for better fitting for that reskin (probably 1 or 2 days)

 

So - most likely to the end of this week whole mod|edit will be done and released

At least thats the plan)

i've got this mod. I tried to make the project.xml by myself, but i think i did something wrong, because i can't get the character to show in the stagecoach

 

does someone may know a way to fix it?

Hi I checked the mod and found the following:
It is just the class data, it has no localization, and other files. Its missing a lot of stuff.
A good start would be to study another hero mod's folder structure and make the mod's folder structure exactly like that. Darkest Dungeon is very sensitive to folder names and folder location.
There are a bunch of effects called in the Yanzhi.info.darkest, but there is no effects folder nor effects.darkest file. This has to be sourced or created.
Localization is completely missing, so the hero will only say missing string text like [<combat_skill_name_crusader_battle_heal>], instead of her lines.
By the names in the info.darkest files, there are buffs related to this class, but the file containing buffs is missing.

No camps skills are defined for her, she will have no camp skills, including shared ones.

No upgrade trees are defined for her, it is not possible to upgrade her skills/armor/weapon.

I cannot make sense of the info.darkest file, it may or may not be good, but there are multiple definitions of the same combat skill. It should be checked by a more experienced modder.

Her generation is town event dependent, but no town events are defined in the mod.

This is just the bare bones of the class, it will not work whatever is done to the project.xml


For actually fixing it, I recommend picking another class mod and making its files and folders look just like it:

Unfortunately, after testing it out, its a little broken. The Riposte sprite stretches out, and the idle, walk, and combat is broken, but is fixable. As the clothes can just be removed in the base clothed version since Anaertailin doesn't censure it there. That's what I did.

As i can't find a specific post that explains/talks about it i'll ask: How do you replace enemies?

I assume that just as basic as renaming all the files of the monster with the namefiles of the monster you are going to substitute. but i swear there was a post in this thread explaining is not that simple.

Replacing skins for enemies completly the same, in term of sprites, "atlas" and "skel" files renaming and matching for sprites inside "art" file

I think Lustiest Lair Expanded (LLE) works on that. There was a Sex Framework prototype but not sure if LLE is trying to work that in. Alot of Niurs skins have tentacles worked in, not sure if that counts. Then there is few and far between mods. There is also some furry, gay and LLE specific mods but I will skip those.

I found that you don't have to rename the PNG, just the ".skel" and ".atlas" files and leave the pngs names as is. Thanks for your help, now i can use more skins i have collected from this topic

Ye, if you just renaming without using Spine or DB - only "skel" and "atlas" need to be renamed

Since mod files reading only inside folder of that mod - its not making any errors if you even have like 10 sprites with same name, just "skel" and "atlas" need to be unique for mod recognition and match class|enemy name

 

To rename all "properly" - you need upload sprite into Spine or into DB (for DB - after convertion, and back-convertion after ending editing), edit here all you need (including file name), and then back-convert into game folder

Its need to match name of sprite inside "skel" file, which cannt be edited just with Notepad, need to "dig in"

 

But ye - for simple editing|in-game usage dont bother with that, its already for "more advanced editing|modding", just for fast self-usage need to rename only "skel" and "atlas" title and match sprite name inside "art", and all will work just fine in-game, both for heroes reskins and enemy reskins

After you will make that several times you will learn whole "path"|pattern, just self-expirience to figure out)
