Just attaching skin from class into class (or from class into enemy, or from enemy into class) - simple, just 1-2 hours at most (especially after you will make it 5-10 times and figure out whole pattern)

And ofc another difficulty is "staying natural|fitting" - reskin of class or enemy must be fitting skin, so it would looking natural in-game (like - reskinning melee class with smthing like Bandit Fusilier or Cultist Acolyte will make no sence and break immersion, so need to find good fitting basis class, or make class rebalance to fit better in term of skills|appearence)

It still will be faster and easier than "drawing WHOLE skin from zero", but will require x5 time and stamina than just editing here or there (or making NSFW skin from SFW original just by "undressing some cloth parts")

Animations - Spine or Dragonebone (with converter)

 

Ye, it will require some expirience and knowledges, and at least basic understanding|sence of how to work with pictures|arts - but 99% can be learned in process, its really not so hard and very low entering border, just if you will have time and wish

And just for convertions|attaching of skins - basic level will be enough, without digging|figuring out advanced patterns of modding

 

If you will build that wish at some point - you can contact me in PM, i can give you some links on guides which helped me when i was starting myself from that zero

In fact here important just to begin and try, after multiple try attempts you will figure out a lot and build expirience|pattern of "how to deal with this or that"

Thanks for the guide, i never saw it but i tried it today and i made a crusader skin with the ZIMIK's leper skin. So thanks again the crusader class doesn't have many good skins imo.

You can refer to jester.info in his heroes folder. 

Copy the .effect "something2" to your custom hero/enemy.info with same .effect "something2". 

It will use same vanilla effect of finale buff.

 

If u want to customized effect, copy the while line  "something2" effect in base.effects.darkest (ctrl+f),

create new base.effects.darkest (simply name custom.effect. Must have the effect - the front is changeable). After that, paste the copied line edit the number. You have to know what stats refer to what but eventually, u will get use to it and know.

For buffs it needs not only effect, but also "shared/buffs/<name>.buff.json" edit usually, its more complicated that just "effects"

 

For simple effects ye, its just "effect" edit and attach for skill as ".effects", but for advanced|complicated effects its need to edit and make those "buffs", imo its not from what begginer should start with - its already more advanced level (since will be a lot of figure out, especially if you have no knowledges|expirience in programming|html structures)

Ye, overall its not very hard either, and can be figure out just by trying|experimenting on attempts "how this or that working", but i just recomending to start with simple things, to figure out from easier to harder, step by step - will save a lot of time, and will be just easier

We conversated with ZIMIK about year ago - he is fine if someone will edit and share skins that are already released on his Steam, before that - they locked on his Patreon or Afdian, and he was very sad|mad if someone share them for free into public on LL

So - if Leper skin for now not on his Steam avaliable for free - you better remove it from public from now, it will be fair toward his wish to earn some money on Patreon before free release on Steam for everyone

i asked him if i could share it on loverslab and he say that he is fine if i credit him but you're right i ll remove it and maybe share it later when it ll be avaiable on steam

Hey everyone, Honestly I think I've had enough of this and I'm probably giving up here, but I've decided to upload the very little work i did do (mainly just ended up doing the .darkest, the stats and attacks are set already, some stuff in buffs.json and .effects are also set, nothing else is) incase anyone else wanted to have a go at it, i just don't have enough time or fortitude to deal with some of the frustration.

For two skins to be compatible you need them to share the same skeleton if they do not have the same one they cannot be played at the same time but you can always search for the class generator to make an identical one and use your other skin as the skin of the new class

I've seen the edits of MadFluffyPanda for Xelsword Houndmaster and loved it ! And I wanted to know if he did the others skins of the mod too. 

If yes could somebody share them with me please. And if not I will be trying to do the others skins myself but I'm realy a beginner so if annybody got some advice for me it would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to search for edit you can go on steam or nexus. I dont know MadFluffyPanda but on steam there is furry edits by MegaSmitten if you like that kind of things and on nexus you can find the ELP mods by niknerozz that are really good xelsword's style edits and other content like i just shared a little above.

Yeah i already know about those but i'm talkking about the houndmaster edit of MadFluffypanda where there's only the dog and wanted to know if he did the other skins or not but thanks forr your reply
