I mentioned the technique before, but you replace 'Antiquarian' in the names of the .skel and .atlas files in the /anim and /fx folders, with 'bounty_hunter' as well as the roster portrait, then go into the .art file and switch out the .anim and .fx IDs with their new ones, and it just works.

The key is to never rename the non-roster portrait .png files, or the skeleton breaks.

If it all sounds too complicated, let me know and I'll do the work for you.

-Oh yeah, and the names on the (classname)_(letter) folders, we are replacing a Hero today.

I'm having an issue where the attack animations aren't showing, just the combat animation gets static, combat/defend/walk/idle work properly. I'm thinking it's an issue with the skeleton, but i don't have spine and changing it through notepad just broke everything. I guess changing monsters is much easier than classes. I'm not sure about fx because anaertaillin's man-at-arms' skin is all fucky and weird with the fx's.

 

Can you give me a help on this part? Bounty hunter deserves love.

I think that's caused by renaming the moves instead of editing the .art file? ...Yeah, something-something only Combat, Idle, Walk, Camp, Investigate, and (if applicable) Death sprites work because they're not 'renamed' and as such the game can find them.

I'll be back soon with the altered files. Shouldn't take too long, as I'm not trying to port a transformation class this time...

Yay, i actually had renamed and edited everything but the skel files, when i edited the skel files to match the skills, multiple black screens and error sounds ensued. So i figured it had something to do with the skeleton and how it's done. I even tried downloading spine trial but you can't revert it to DD version.

There's a free alternative to spine that can be used, Dragonbones.

I've had... issues, with it, it often seems something gets lost in translation... but it's better then nothing!

As for your error... I think that happens when stuff is missing? Er, I mean the game can't find it.

Not the .pngs, the game knows to create error textures when it can't find those, but the .atlas or .skel files. The game freaks and crashes because poor error handling.

Still 'working' on the replacement. As expected, actually testing the damned thing is taking longer it took to make it. I should really keep around an experimental save file for such purpose, if I'm going to be taking such requests regularly...

I realized I was being stupid and just got a mod that started me off with one of every class, allowing me to just TEST the fucking thing without further delay.

I was going to take the two duplicate skin slots and make Darkeye versions... but then I saw her animated sprite sheet, made a noise something like 'Eyy,' and promptly binned that idea on the spot.

Testing was not extensive, so report any bugs you find. We all make mistakes, after all...

Oh, and this does not replace her Guild portrait or corpse, as those weren't included in the original files and I don't actually care about the Circus regardless.

Tested a bunch of skills and so far no problem, thank you for taking your time to help, and thanks to you there is a great lewd skin for Bounty Hunter. You just made my 2021 start a whole lot better.

 

On another note, i discovered some things only change if you start a new game. for example i made Fool's initial skill also give her an extra turn, but it only really worked when i made a new game and "unique" trinkets like MVPL's and class specific LL's have an "expected value" where if you change their files, the game breaks and they disappear.

I'm sure nobody really expects anything from me or is monitoring my progress, but I do intend on returning to my text/story/monster/campaign overhaul eventually, right now I'm just full tilt on making a campaign overhaul for Halo CE on The Master Chief Collection, and I just want to take my projects one mod at a time, lest I never get anything done.

Unfortunately I'm currently experiencing a CTD with the fawn mom fight from Muscarine's Fawn mod, whenever I try to start the fight it crashes.  I've been able to do the fight in the past, so I'm sure it's a conflict with some mod or other that I have installed, but given the way DD handles saves I'm scared to deactivate things to find out what =P

Sorry to disappoint you but many of my edits were lost when my last windows account got corrupted. Not sure how it did but it ended up wiping my hard drive. Any future edits I make will be posted to this forum though. I'll probably also make backups in case something like that happens again.

Since Lustiest Lair hasn't been updated in a bit and I haven't seen the creator reply to anyone on the mod page (On Nexus). Does anyone have a fix for the Captor enemy the mod adds? Its WAY too overpowered at the moment.

 

Also is there any lewd skin for the Renamon reskin of the Duchess class mod? I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask. I just want more lewd mods.

The Captor's stats are stored in Lustiest Lair\monsters\ll_slaver, as .info files.

You can edit them with any text editor... even notepad, if you're desperate. 

I recommend using the Brigand Bloodletter as a basis for what their stats should be, which cuts down their health and dodge chance.

Thank you, I saw something similar to what you said on the nexus page but wanted to check first before I even attempted it.

I did that too, reduced health and dodge by about 10, so now it doesn't take 8 turns to kill it. Tbh though pet patrol is oh so much more overpowered to the point of unfair, on my first fight on turn 6 everyone was afflicted and the enemy was full hp because of reinforcements, high hp, high dodge, aegis, guard, high prot, and high heal and HoTs.

 

But does anyone know if The Nightmare works with LL?

Just saw someone post about Captor and I was just going to ask about that. I was wondering is there way to permanently lower his spawn rate. The Captor spawns in basically every room. I was looking around in dungeon folder and saw something about spawnrate, but wanted to make sure do I need lower the rate of it being 2 to like 0.1 to make it super low?
