It seems that I deleted some skins and the excess skin vacancies are not fill

 

But it does not affect the use of all skins inside.

Delete modfiles.txt or edit it to remove your deleted skin

You can do it yourself by renaming and replacing the .atlas and .skel files and copying but NOT renaming the .png ones. Don't forget to do the same with the relevant FX!

It's strange, but by doing that, the game looks for the Hunter's .skel/atlas files, and those files will look for the Fusilader .png. If memory serves, the Atlas file can be told differently easily enough, but the Skeleton file is not so easy to convince, so it saves so much time to just slap-dash it like this.

It gets tougher if you want to switch out monsters that aren't identical, and can be rather mean if you swap out Heroes like this... but it can be done!

No. Do NOT rename and replace the .png files. I just explained why shit breaks if you do that, the .skel and .atlas files won't be able to find it unless told where to look, which requires decompiling the .skel file.

A correct monster port should look something like this.

It looks fucky, I know, but THIS is how you replace sprites without external compiling tools, your replace the .atlas and .skel files but do NOT replace the .png files. Technically, those Hunter .pngs don't need to be there anymore and can be deleted, but THIS is what a successful port looks like.

...And don't forget the FX folder either.

...And don't forget that I think doing the above might break monsters that aren't literally identical! Changing the name of the attack might bust it as well, but I'm not 100% on that!

hey so this is going to be a huge ask, but im getting a laptop soon and thought that i would take it out and play this on the go. so i was wondering if anyone has all the SFW skins that released with the NSFW versions for classes and npcs. i understand that thats alot of skins but i was just curious if someone has a mod pack with them

There's a massive, multi-gig pack containing most skins under the vanilla skeleton for every hero. The last time it surfaced was on the previous page.

Remember, this is most skins, both SFW and NSFW, so you'll need to sort through them manually to avoid accidental flashing, though the NSFW tend to form the top of the lists.

Did you make any change to the trinkets themselves or only the image? Because i would rather replace the original files to make loading faster.

Hello everyone, I just want to apologize for my English. in general, I decided to alter a little to suit my .. tastes .. well-known skin on flagellant (https://www.nexusmods.com/darkestdungeon/mods/824). I ask you not to hit hard, I first opened Photoshop for the first time, and generally suffered for 2 days, since my converted skins did not work in the game. Hello everyone,

 

I have been using some of the mods on this forum, a bunch of the hero skins and monster skins.  Now that I've played for 40 weeks with 4 heros per week.     I find it weird that I have not seen a single grave robber / houndmaster. So I tried starting a new game and kept refreshing the stage coach on another safe.  After doing another 30 weeks.  I still have not seen them once. I wonder if its possible one of the many mods I downloaded somehow removed them from the possible hero pool.  Anyone else have experience something like this?

Yes and no, i've noticed that having too many classes sometimes break the refresh rate, making some classes not appear for weeks and suddenly 5 of them show up at same time to recruit, but this never happened to vanilla classes. What you can do is increase the number of heroes available to recruit on the stage coach file, but it always comes down to rng.

As far as the buttfuck skill goes, I actually got it done faster than I thought.

Here's the first hero to have the skill: Xelsword's Crusader, in particular, 4 skins of her with nudity and eyes.

The B and C skins are actually palette swapped to a degree, B was changed to a white ginger while C is now an ebony latina mama.

The skill itself is designed to be used against enemies that are "phallic", which is to say, enemies that have penises.

That being said, "phallic" is just the new name for the "eldritch" enemy tag, which will be taken away from or given to enemies according to their sex in the finalized version. So for now, it won't be thematically consistent. If anything, this is more of a teaser.

 

OH, and also, this skill replaces battle heal, so be wary all 2 of you who use crusader as an off-healer, lol
