shardoom Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I'll have a go with this later. Got eye-ache at the moment. Hopefully that 629 is just a one-off bad animation, but, I think I know how to 'jimmy' animations around to just duplicate one that I quite like over any really bad ones now.

I didn't look super closely at them, but I did test them all enough to make sure they were at least rasonably aligned and not horribly contorting the actors. If I got 629 wrong somehow or missed it, have no fear, I'll disable it. Just waiting for more people to chime in. I did notice some horrible shoulder bending on a few of them (the more missionary type ones) but I figured it wasn't bad enough to axe the whole animation.
shardoom Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 lol I don't know, maybe I'm just being too picky. IT honestly looks like some kind of a test animation though (629). The arms, head and fingers of the female just do some really peculiar, non sexual repeating motions. When that plays after one of the amra animations, (ignoring the penis issue) the technical quality difference between the two is alarming. Even D_man himself said it was one of his early attempts using an older animation rig. Honestly though I don't really think you need to disable anything. The more slots available the better I say! lol (Just means I can force a favourite animation to play more often by duping it over ones I don't like)

You can't do that with any of them safely -- since any offsets that might exist will be wrong. If there are specific problems with this one, or with specific animations in it, let me know the details. If not this is going to *become* the official one, once I'm done with the random picker and some other things. Eventually I'll introduce a sexlab style thing that lets you pick which animations you want enabled for consensual and which ones for rape, but that's a little ways off. Beta after this one probably.

Yeah I guessed that after a large chunk of wasted time copying and pasting. I'm not sure what to say really Pride. I don't want to be rude. I'll just stick with my current sexout install, it works perfectly fine for what I need. lol

Otherwise anything that is a problem is gong to be part of Sexout and eventually you will have to upgrade to a new Sexout version to be able to use the current mods.

There isn't a 'technical' problem with anything Ritual. So if it became absolutely necessary to upgrade, it wouldn't be a problem. As it stands though, I don't think I will update just yet.

What I need is the animation # specifically (961 is being discussed -- I will check it again), and to do us both a favor, it needs to be checked with no other mods loaded -- just fonv and sexout.esm. I can't rule out other mods causing issues and the more of them that are loaded, the more out of sync *all* the animations get -- and there is zero I can do about this. I test myself with just sexout.esm and if they look ok, then with my normal mod load which is still very small by most standards -- 41 plugins, including DLC. If they still look ok, then they go in. People with 100, 150, 200 mods.. I'm sorry, I do not have time to chase down your issues if they go away if you load less mods. So do that and/or get a faster processor.

prideslayer Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 In my full test, 629 looks 'fine'. It's clipping a bit but no more than usual, maybe +5 offset would help it out. The female side is doing something weird with her hands that I don't understand, like maybe there's supposed to be another actor involved that's missing, but it does not seem to be out of sync, animating missing bone/mesh parts, or anything like that.

prideslayer Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 2.6.83b4 up in OP. - Random picker rewrite, stage 1. This version replaces all of the manually calculated percentages with runtime calculated ones, drastically shrinking the size of the script (621 lines down to 324). It's the same change as in the last one, but applied to all sexout animation groups, rather than just 2p M+F. Should be no noticeable differences when playing between this version and b3.

You're more than welcome to rip it apart/absorb it/make it obsolete as well. I'll do an overhaul on it here sometime soon. I've been putting it off in hopes that getting those vars from NG during sex would be easier than counting anim tokens at some point.

My goal with the sound thing is to allow others like yourself to write plugins/replacers for the sounds and have an easier time of it than you've had. I also have an outstanding request to allow selective muting of the voices, the 'slop' sounds, or both that I'm going to tackle at the same time. As soon as that beta is out I'll let you know so you have time to adapt your system, if you want to, before sexout goes from beta to release.

It has many other interesting things too, definetely a good read, thank you! By the way, yesterday night I found one of Gerra's tools should correct that 90 degrees too, I understood it's an issue concerning the import. Gerra did a lot of tools and I wasn't aware (excluding bone weight copy) because I wrongly thought they were for new Blenders/Skyrim. It's a big pity not using them, I need to learn more.

prideslayer Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 beta5 in OP - SexoutNGReset animation properly called. I found in investigating the penis reset issue that the main sexout effect script was calling a nonexistent playidle (SexoutReset) when it should have been calling SexoutNGReset, so all of those playidle calls were updated. This alone will not fix the penis issues. The reset animation (Characters/_Male/IdleAnims/XXXAnims/reset.kf) must also be replaced with one that sets the penis to it's correct (default) scale and erect orientation. Amra created such an animation that I didn't get around to testing as it was tested for me and said to not work -- likely because of this bug in the ESM. DMan is also looking into the issue. I did not test that this change doesn't horribly break things somehow -- I'm up to my eyeballs in FOMM changes right now and so my game is in an unplayable state for the moment.
