Well leachers will leach right? But they wont be able to use them honestly if you make a random password it shouldn't be a problem right?
cretin Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Interesting. I upgraded Trykz' race mods to the .bsa versions from the originals and all looked well-- except for the Demoness. I was unable to see my hands and arms in first-person, in what looked very similar to the problems described in this thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/702534-attention-all-mod-creators/ The solution was there, as well. I had to load the Demoness (Seducer is what I had) .esp into the Creation Kit, highlight the body parts as described, and save it back out. Maybe all it needed was a re-save, but that worked. Hope this helps in the event anyone else has the same issue.

Although it doesn't give me problems for any of the other of the downloads. Weird.

It's not much to ask for those who download from this site to participate in the community as a show of gratitude. No one expects you to post every 5 minutes, but stopping by once a week or so makes you seem like less of a leech when you come looking for support if something doesn't quite work out right. Have been having a few computer issues and thought it might be serious, HDD perhaps, but it turns out that it was my mouse dying (I would not mind but I only bought it late March and it was a Logitech G700....) Unfortunately the freezes and crashes that it caused appear to have corrupted a lot of my saves, so I may have to make a new Guardian to show you.... Edit - managed to retrieve the existing one but she closed her eyes when I took the picture, the naughty girl...must try again.

I kid you not, I could neither launch it nor repair the install. When I deleted content and reinstalled Steam, it would not let me redownload Skyrim and it has taken me the best part of two days to make it let me (opening ports with my firewall and changing my d/l region). So once I get the game running again, I will have to reinstall the mod so that the lovely Aliyah can once more fight the forces of evil!

visby Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Issue fixed. Glad to see Dovah teens as I've been waiting for this one since you first talked about it. But it's causing Skyrim to shutdown right after the load screen comes up for me, and I've never had Skyrim crash on the load screen before. The most likely cause I can think off is that it requires Dawnguard (which I don't have) as that's the only reason I can think of that it would shut down right away. So there is what I've done. First off I use Mod Organizer, and I have the lastest ver 1.7.7.0.6 of Skyrim and SKSE ver 1.5.10 rel 26. I downloaded your 3 mods for the race Dovahteens, DovahTeen Elves, and DovahTeen Garb then I downloaded LustDesign - Dovahkiin Mercenary Gear, LustDesign - Adamantine Crystal Gear (no esp btw), LustDesign - Tribal Glass Gear. The link for Nalim Armor conversions by stuffed_bunny just had a bunch of lose files in it so I downloaded Nalim's the spriggan and catsuit armor mods from nexus instead since the lose files where for those mods. I put DovahTeens.esp 5th then DovahTeenElves.esp 6th in my load order then after all my clothes mods I loaded DovahTeen Garb. So as I said when I try to then run it the game shuts down on the load screen before I can do anything. If I uncheck the 3 race files in mod organizer (which is the same as uninstalling them) everything works fine. I tried running without the elves and or the the grab but no change. Ok the problem was I didn't have the RaceCompatibility.esm file.

block2001 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Yea my Nidia can become a vampire and I am about to try out the teen race - so i loaded up the game and started a new game, however as soon as i select the teen race my game CTD's instantly, I'm not sure what could be causing this but for now I shall put it on hold until i figure out whats up

I do this mostly to give my game more variety from the bland vanilla races. I would do that even if I "couldn't" share them. But that whole "nah nah, look what I got and you don't" shit I see on other sites really burns my ass. So essentially, this is my big "fuck you" to selfish assholes like that. Which is why I grin like a freakin' clown every time I see my stuff in the Nexus screenshots section I'm currently working on revamping the Yaksha race. The original mod was quite a mess (though I'm pretty sure it's issues were created by the 1.5 patch that wrecked all my mods.... I'm repeating a lot of the same fixes), but it's a bit slow going as I have a busy weekend with family coming up, and a business trip on Monday for at least a week. I'm taking my laptop so I can keep working on it in my free time, and hoping to have it done by next weekend. We'll see. If anyone knows the original Yaksha race author, I'd like to contact him/her for permission even though I swapped out most of the original meshes/textures. If I can't get it, I'll need to swap in suitable alternatives for the remaining parts. Last i heard it was removed from Nexus because of the 1.5 patch, and the original author didn't want to fix it. So if anyone knows how to contact them, I'd greatly appreciate it. TIA, Trykz

Anyway I have a question - I love the look of the clothing pack that you linked to that is also on here, but I am a bit wary as I use the e55 body as my main replacer and I can see that pack uses a BBP skeleton. How would this affect my vanilla races?

I go through a desktop rig about every two years But which clothing pack are you referring to? Generally speaking, armor and clothing made for a specific body type tends to look "odd" when used on bodies it's not designed for. But that's mostly for skimpy stuff that doesn't cover much. If you're talking about Alan's BBP pack (which is almost entirely skimpy armors and clothes), it'll probably look pretty bad. The nice thing about CBBE, is that no matter what CBBE body shape you put a CBBE based armor/clothing on, it will simply morph the body to that armor shape. With stuffed_bunny's CB++, you can make any body shape you want for when you want to see it nude, but any CBBE (or CHSBHC) based armor will work perfectly with the right texture set.

My vanilla races, that use e55, can get away with UNP clothing without too many texture horrors, and can also use vanilla clothes. Sadly there has been very little clothing made for the e55. As long as installing Alan's BBP pack does not fubar my non-CBBE BBP races I don't mind!

Nothing in Alan's pack replaces anything else. It's completely standalone. Just make sur you follow the instructions in his post, and use the first-person fix as directed to avoid CTDs. Enjoy!
