sanity checking Sims not getting pregnant with Passion in Overstuffed households (more than 8? sims) is supposed to be the normal expectations yes?

this is considering that you set impregnation chance to 100%

I have a mod that overrides the EA animations for WooHoo and Try For Baby, so that when they do that on a bed, they get naked and the covers get pulled down so that you can see them. That mod makes it so that Try for Baby always fails, no matter what the impregnation chance is set to. I think that it doesn't properly implement the pregnancy part, and just treats both actions like normal WooHoo. The package file is `Woohoo_org_replace_cly`, so if you have that, it is what is causing this for you.

You can either remove that package, or, if you want to keep it, do what I do, and decide whether the sims should get pregnant, and use NRaas Master Controller's Pollinate function or CmarNYC's pregnancy controller to get the sim pregnant. I am a little OCD on the matter, so I use a random number generator to decide if the attempt was successful. Since I'm using a mod to make them pregnant anyway, I just skip the Try For Baby action, and use Passion (or KW) to do the deed.

I have NRaaS mods so I'm using the NRaaS method of impregnation (via Woohooer) but I'm just checking that the Passion method (you know the animated woohoo thing) doesnt have an "ignore household limit" part of the code unlike Woohooer which does, as it seems to be my observation as I used passion to impregnate one of my active sims with currently 8+1 (counting the unborn child/children)

I'm unclear on what you are referring to. As far as I am aware, Passion does not provide a way for sims to get pregnant. You have to use the regular "Try for Baby" romantic interaction, or if you are using WooHooer, and have the options enabled to allow risky woohoo, then use the romatic menu action "risky woohoo".

When you use "Try for Baby", the Passion code doesn't get used at all, and the Passion mod does not have anything that would prevent pregnancy based on the household size.

WooHooer mod on its own does not allow "overstuffed" pregnancy. You have to do some additional setup to allow a sim to get pregnant when the number of sims in the house is already 8 or more.

For all the steps needed to allow this using NRaas mods, see here: https://www.nraas.net/community/Which-Mod-FAQ#I-want-to-play-a-household-with-more-than-eight-sims-in-it

since i downloaded passions, i have not been able to see the option "propose going steady" in my social cue. I have tried using clean slate to see if it would pop up and nothing. i have been working at this for the past few days, i am checking my other mods just incase, but i wanted to see if anyone else has experience this. I don't have much mods, next to passion i have:

MonocoDoll_DrugDealing_

Twinsimming

Sliders from Enhanced Bodies for All Ages and Genders + Penis + Male underwear bulges + Sliders 5.5.0

and

Sliders from LegitLovelySliders2023

these are the only things i have in my folders, so i am not sure why that option disappeared for me

Hello! May I ask for assistance? I'm a novice, so I'm sorry, but every time I load the application, I get a popup that says:

"It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs.

Do you want to quit?"

I'd like to ask if anybody would be able to help. Because I know that it cannot be my mods or CC, as I have only gotten the popup after installing the Passion Mod and the required files. I have a nagging suspicion that it may be the cmar files as I got them from some loverslab pages, but is there a way to fix this? The links on cmar's blog unfortunately do not work, and I do not know of any substitutes. I am worried that carelessly downloading files that I do not know about may affect the mod. 😓

@zenrails What is your game version? The default setup of passion has packages enabled for 1.67, disabled for 1.69. So your issue makes sense if you're on 1.69. There's a readme in the .zip that explains things if you're confused about what files to delete and what to keep.

Hi, i'm having trouble getting nude skins to work for my female sims with and without optional skins. I have tried with no skin downloads and the women have no nude features just smooth all over and tried with downloading Gecko's replacement skins and have the same issue. I noticed that some of the CMAR files need to be removed to get these to work (from the adult guide in the technical discussion on here: If you want those Optionals, you have to remove "cmar_afTopNudeMorphingNipples.package" & "cmar_afpreg_BottomNude.package" from cmar_MorphingNipplesV4.zip.) But I can see these files are merged into one of the Passion files! Is there a guide on removing these files with S3PE, or is this not my issue?

just to clarify Passion does have an impregnation "rate" in its settings by default this doesnt work unless enabled by the player (also its "buggy" since it never checks if you did vaginal or anal any "inside" position is valid for impregnation) you just need to explore the settings it has something to do with the woohoo positions you have queued up this is important especially if you toyed with Mingos Birds and the Bees and want passion as the main method of sim conception

especially Mingos' note on how to use his mod with passion

Quote

This mod will override any pre-existing fertility settings dictated by other mods and the base game. The best mod and settings to use in conjunction with this mod is using TwilightStorm’s Passion and setting the Pregnancy Chance to “100”

Okay, so I installed Passion, the pop-up pie shows and works, the animations work except, no pole dancing, they just stare at the pole.  The animation package is installed.  Do I need a special Lot type?  Is there a conflict with Animation Player?  Did changing the package name make Pole Dancing non functional?

I have a problem with Passion 2.7.6.7, it's incompatible with the new version of sims 3. the roles are reversed when you click passion. Instead of the girl getting the d. the guy get the "d" from the girl. I need help fixing the problem.

The piece of information that I missed for a long time with this is that the pole interactions show up when there is a community wall speaker that is turned on. It doesn't matter which music is playing, which can result in hilarious combinations if you put some thought into it.

This is not because of the tiny patch that EA handed out a few days ago. It's a common issue with Passion (not as common as it feels like when you get unexpected results, though). Some things that make it less likely: go into settings, make sure that you've chosen "no" for passion changing positions periodically (under "randomizations"); make sure that the one you want to be the pitcher is the initiator and the one you want to be the catcher is the target: and be patient.  Also: reduce autonomy for Passion. Too much autonomy means there is a poitential for too many Passion events occuring at once, which increasers the likelihood of any kind of error. High-Passion-autonomy inactives have the tendency to try to Passion at the same time as they try to run other routines, which results in all types of shenanigans. It might be more likely to happen if the animation you've chosen makes the initiator sim position available to both genders, so if you have the patience, you can open the animations you like in Sim3Pe and edit them to only make initiator available to the gender you want. I've been thinking about how maybe it would be possible to have a token system where you could somehow give a token to the one you want to be in trhe position you choose, but I don't know how that would be done.

I thought for a while that it seemed like my sim who I always wanted to be catcher was always getting in pitcher position because they were by far the most experienced sim (this is not a rational thought, there is no function in the mod to keep track of this, I don't think). So I kept starting over with new saves. Whatever I did, it's happening less now & this save's been going on for a while with only minor errors and rarely having to switch partners.

Riught, I forgot that: one of the Passion commands is "switch with" which often gives a good result, but every once in a wehile sets off a cascade of switching back and forth, faster even than the animation cycle. I haven't yet noted down whether it's particular animations that are vulnerable to this. I'm likely to eventually be noting down which animatiuons I like and which ones I don't: if I do, I'll probably make notes about that too.

Rita: as far as I'm concerned...lol... the "switch" command got crazy when I selected it while 2 guys (men) were having sex.

When I selected "switch" command for a 4some sex, it just switched once and nothing else.

So I think when 2 men have sex, switching is the rule... Lol

Unfortunately I had to uninstall Passion from my Ts3 game because Error Trap (Nraas) was going crazy with lots of reports and making me think I had something wrong with my game...  Some crashes were related to it, I think. But I pray and I hope some good soul will look into Passion and fix some bugs for our happiness!!! 😅

I'll try to help you but I need to know:  1) Do you want to play sex anims on pole?   OR   2) Do you want your Sims just DANCE on pole?

For the first question, the answer is:  you have to click on pole and the options must contain  ''erotic'' (or something like that I don't remember now).

For the second question, the answer is:  you must have the ''dance anims'', that's NOT related to Passion - they are: animated_poledance.package + poledanceanimations.package + SeeMyu_TheExoticPole.package.  Unfortunately these packages have NO author's information, so I can't remember who created them.

Hi, @FreakyRufus!  Could you tell me, please, where can I download ''`Woohoo_org_replace_cly'' ?  Thanks! ;)

Is there any way to fix female sims getting stuck in male roles? (and tops getting stuck in bottoms roles, etc) It doesn't happen always but it does happen often, idk what exactly triggers it, clicking the change partner (or something like that) option just makes them switch for one position, after switching the position it goes back, it's the same with two sims of the same gender.

Did you get any fix on this? I'm having the same issue.

Heh, I actually was trying to figure out where I got it from just recently. It is actually an attachment to a post from @Clydie. Since I don't know if I couldn't find the post, or if it was intentionally removed, I'll send you a DM with the mod.

EDIT: I am not actually able to send files in messages. :(

Many of us have had this problem for some time and it doesn't seem like it's going to be solved. :/

I upload the files to Mediafire or Simfileshare and share the link. It's the only viable thing for now.

Aw that's tough. Heard KW has hella issues with NRaas. I would love to try it but I'm scared it will ruin my game in general due to incompatibility with other mods
