priss10 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 By the way, I already came. Priss, you like to make faces, and could you make the face of this Misaki? Do not know, but I think that without me there is someone to do this work. Perhaps, already this someone did.
priss10 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 dogcookie, almost normal, but you need to smooth the movements of the hands, they are very sharp, in my opinion. And why do you import this dance from MMD? You wanted to import it from MoCap?

And why do you import this dance from MMD? You wanted to import it from MoCap? There are still some issues especially the IK which is very hard to adjust. I know there are lot of good dances from Mocap, but they are not free. Compared with Mocap, MMD is much harder to import and not as smooth as Mocap. Here is the my testing from Mocap.

Yes, MMD is harder to import and the movements here are more sharp than in MoCap. So I was surprised that you went back to MMD. But going back to the question about DOA Paradise, I can say that extracting the animation from the archive file is not difficult. I saw this code. But this is a simpler animation than DOA animation. For all bones besides Hips, only rotation is indicated. And, in addition, there are names of bones which are not in the models of DOA. So we can assume that they have different localization. Although the total number of bones is the same. In general, all this should be studied in detail. Maybe it's all possible to import. Most likely, this is a long story. (
dogcookie Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 There are still problems with interpolation.
Cabbas Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Dogcookie, what interpolation do you use? If linear, then try to replace it with a polynomial, it's more powerful.
Cabbas Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Dogcookie, to adjust the interpolation, you use some slow and smooth dancing. Because with fast dances it is not always possible to distinguish the rapid movement from the failure of interpolation

dogcookie Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I found out a way to smooth the MMD animations and can make MMD movement looks like Mocap quality. The following MMD clip is just my manual fix and I am going to write an interpolation logic myself to make this working. I think this flaw is the reason why all the MMD animations are not as good as Mocap.
priss10 Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 A new version was released that allows the saving of poses. I'm still playing around with that to see how to get both faces and joints to save. I do not know for which version of the game this script, for me at 1.10H it does not work at all. I tried several times to run it, but to no avail. The old script works fine, and the new even does not stop the game, only the program sometimes crash. ( I return to the question of a new script for Cheat Engine. Turns out that it was written for version 1.10. I've converted the script for version 1.10H, but I do not recommend using it for users who are not very familiar with CE. The same thing I can repeat about the version for 1.10. So I will not share it here. If there are extremals that necessarily want to test it at own risk on own computer, write to this topic or via the messenger, and you will receive this script.
Cabbas Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Prisss, you described everything so that even I was scared. Nevertheless, throw me this terrible script. I have long wanted to update my computer. Maybe your script will help me.

I just replaced some addresses in it so that it could work with 1.10H and did not change the rest of the code. So, if he helps you get rid of your computer, you will thank the real authors. )))

Cabbas Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Wow, what a meaningful phrase you got. Let it wait, I'm still in vacation.
dogcookie Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 I am still working on the interpolation logic and the progress is very slow. The result from MMD is still not as good as Mocap, but at least it seems better than original MMD animation. I think it's going to take me a while to have it done. Here is the example of an improved one.

Here is the example of an improved one. Cabbas was right, you better work out interpolation on slower movements. But I can not advise you anymore, because I do not know what methods to smooth out you use. You can at least outline in general terms what you do with the animation? When we collected the animation for Kokoro, we worked hard on interpolation algorithms, so maybe we could use them for MMD. But in any case, I congratulate you, now your animation looks much better than some time ago, so you have a very good progress. And I think that no one has ever gone so far in converting MMD to DOA.
dogcookie Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Basically, I have to adjust the speed of interpolation between key frames. Think about a car, it will increase speed gradually after start and will reduce speed gradually before stop. It's seems working for most of the cases, but I have to adjust manually based on the type of movements and bones. It's very time consuming. I am trying to create some kinds of logic that will detect type of movements and apply the logic accordingly. Also the different bones need different logic especially the Hip and IK bones. Here is the animation after those adjustments. It seems like close to Mocap quality.
Guest Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 O friends I want to dance Mai for example priss10
