CTD during final stage of any SexLab animation - help?

Problem's in the title. I've tried narrowing down which mod's causing it - no luck there. Cleaning (a copy of) my save file? Nothing. Loading a much earlier file, cleaning that? No dice. I have no idea what's going on. Even a new save file has the issue. Weirdly enough, even saves from when this WASN'T happening are suddenly having the same problem.

To be clearer on the issue I'm having, animations start up just fine. No problems at all until the last stage of any animation starts - and yes, I've tried with various NPCs both vanilla and mod-added - at which point there's an instant CTD. I really don't know what to do here, and I'd rather not restart my character. Again.


If it matters, I've got a basic ENBoost running, as well as the CrashFixes from Nexus.

Draknowin, first try removing your bashed patch (move it completely from your game folder).  Then start a new game and see if you have the issue.  If that fails, try swmas's recommendation.

Is this when sex is done and there changing back to there clothes?I also installed crash fixes without really needing it and guess what my game crashed..lol..so i took it out no crashes...strange huh.also have you changed any settings lately to.you have a long list of mods so it could be many things.but if it's during animation sounds like a animation problem so maybe start there.

No Stuzy, it's when the last stage of any given SexLab act begins - the previous animations work fine, but the last one causes the CTD. Solo animations work fine by the way, which is something I neglected to mention. I'm... really at a loss, here.

Se if it works without Deadly Drain or at least if you disable the "turn to draugr" option.

Swmas, THANK YOU. I don't know why this didn't work before, but I completely disabled DeadlyDrain - that removed the problem, it seems. Re-enabling DD doesn't make the issue return, either, so whatever was wrong, it looks like refreshing the mod - again - fixed it. Thanks again, my character is saved!

Did you disable the draugr option? Also read Deadly Drain's support topic for more ideas. Or play without Deadly Drain if it keeps causing the crash.

Tried it without DeadlyDrain being activated, the CTD still happens. Something else must be causing the crash, but I have no idea what.

The only thing I can think of is stopping Deadly Drain scripts from the MCM (I haven't used it forma while but I think it has that option) and making a clean save.

 

If Deadly Drain is not what is causing it think what other mods you have that hooks into sexlab scenes and disable those. Also you may have irreversibly borked that save and should continue with an older one where it doesn't crash.

 

I can't read papyrus logs maybe someone that knows this stuff can help you more.

Not sure if pinning a post with a solution for SL 1.61b only (in the OP) is the best solution, perhaps better put Ashals post a bit below in the trouble shooting section? If i get it right this or something similar is already included in SL 1.62, or am i wrong here? Ah, i was wrong. Sry, i still think it might be confusing if somebody doesn't read all, but not sure how to solve it.

Push, having the same problem, just that it happens at stage 2, not the final stage.

Afaik I didn't change anything substantial in my files and the last time everything worked normally. Weird.

Edit: it only happens with some animations, not all of them. I reinstalled one animation pack that has this issue and so far it didn't work

Is it always the second stage or random? Maybe a pregnancy mod gone wild and you have random orgasms enabled?

So I'm forced to come back to this issue, seeing as it's cropped up yet again in my game. It is the exact same issue, exact same SexLab mods installed. I do have one additional note about the CTD - it only occurs on the orgasm stage WHEN there is a Male actor involved. Solo or female-only works just fine. I should also note that everything functioned fine until now, and this is now a level 50 character. No mod changes mid-game, either. This is on a fresh re-install of all mods, if that matters.

My game also has this issue. Not sure what stage it was. Either mod stage 2 or beginning of stage 3. 

 

Im going to check my pregnancy mod BEEING FEMALE.

 

oh this is happening to me in SE not Oldrim, but whatever.

 

I just don’t want to move or remove anything because after 2 weeks of messing with my load order to get it right, and making one SUPER patch where I individually patched every mod in SSEedit, I REALLY don’t want to go through that for the third time.

 

There has to be a way to fix this once we find the culprit, in TESedit.
