Voronves Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 I'm having sorta new/old issue. It was happening in the tree branch scenes in silentwood so during the scene some scripts failed/took long to load and it bloated the game to the point that all scripts either didn't load or took a few minutes to load. For example clock widget would load for 5 minutes or when starting new scene the dialogue scripts would take a few minutes to load. Now im playing the whole mod through and the issue showed up again in Toris show quest. After his introduction to the idea and PC refusing initially some script won't load and now when leaving basement all actors just stand there and only after few minutes they teleport to bed and start playing animations. I also cant start any scene cuz they will take like 15 min to fully load and progress. Is there any way to stop or reset all scripts so that maybe it will bypass the issue?

Just have some questions before diving in: 1) Can this mod be finished without fighting? Can I roleplay a traveling merchant for example? If not, what kind of character is this mod suited for roleplay wise? 2) What kind of release format does this mod have? How often is public version being released and when is the next version release being expected? 3) What version of Skyrim should I use (Legendary or Special/Anniversary)? 4) I see people discuss walkthrough made by author himself on the last few pages of this forum. Where can I find it? Is it only accessible for patrons?

The roleplay part depends on how you want to explain it yourself but the heroine actually mentions a few times that she is adventurer by trade and not a pushover but throughout the mod you can kinda steer her in few directions. ( you can actually finish it without character engaging in any sexy acts only in few part she will be naked but only briefly ) 2) Release form is that when Dogma (author) finishes a chunk of work he will release it. For current public version mod is completed and can be fully played all the way to the end with full content. Depending on your choice during playthrough and how you play it there is complete sidequest after the main story kinda like an epilogue. Right now Dogma is finishing work on another large sidequest in the middle of a mods story and if i remember correctly it will be released publicly in near future. After that creator will work on expanding the main story with additional content like alternate solutions to some parts and expanding upon existing already. 3) You can use either Legendary or Special edition just make sure to get Requirements for proper version. Anniversary works for some people but its safer not to use it. Also mod heavily relies on base game assets so almost any mod that changes base models or locations will cause trouble from small like clipping in scenes to simply crashing so its recommended to not use them 4) Main story walkthrough is made by brewmasterhal he is very active here so just scroll some pages and in his signature (blue text/link below his posts) will direct you straight to it. In same place he made a lot of troubleshooting solutions cuz the mod likes to sometimes bug itself not because author or Player did something wrong but because its Skyrim and you sometimes just have to "force" it to cooperate. The additional content like the Falkreath expansion, epiogue sidequest and new sidequest are covered in Highborns signature (also very active and his post is actually on this exact page as your post) and they are mostly walkthroughs posted by Dogma himself on Patreon and translated into English ( Dogma is from Ukraine and writes in his language) Mods is mostly translated by fans with later parts and all content done in quiet some time is machine translated and then checked for consistency by Dogma but its quiet good with some minor grammar mistakes. 1

The reason I asked about release format is I can see that new versions were released usually in december of each year, but there was a release in april this year, so I was wondering if there is gonna be a release in december too. From your answer I understand that there should be a release in december and it should be a finalized version of a currently developed piece of content (Silentwood). So maybe it would be worth waiting until december to play it. I noticed brewmasterhal's and Highborn's walkthroughs, but I was curious about author's walkthrough that was discussed on previous pages. Yea Dogmas walk-throughs are spread out in his posts and comments but all of them except the newest is in highborns posts

It's a new thing with cum spell effect you can just wait an hour or two with T button or in bed and it should dissappear and you can talk with npcs

How do I solve this? I have the 1.8.0.4 version.

But the 2.3 would work most of time, but during some custom animations like carrying the water buckets in Silent Wood it would fail the animation.
