One way would be to correct all riekling related armors and armor addons in thief esp to have riekling race assigned instead of Alduin (dragon) one...

Another would be to mark him as a puppet for CF before scene, and then hit "trigger/force update" via MCM as long as it triggers expected change, however I'm not sure if it so simple, used it only on my 1st playthru but wasn't actually happy about it because had to repeat it each day. Correcting esp looks like permanent solution thus preferable for me.

Just finished everything that's possible in silentwood in 1.4, when 1.5 comes out will I just be able to upgrade and finish it or will I need to start again?

 

Also, when you do the horse chase and get captured by the bandits, is there a bad end where you get sent to the brothel, or was that just fake news? I waited for ages but nothing happened. Additionally if you escape and try to go back it breaks the game and you have to reload an earlier save

Sadly, you will probably need to do it again.  Fortunately, it's not too hard to get in there and you can get the bad end stuff pretty quickly once you start the quest.

I believe that there was some discussion of adding more to that as a new bad end in the final version, but don't remember specifically.  The older content is the most fertile soil for expansion, as Dogma has gotten so much more practiced in the years since v0.7 came out.

 

If there are specific things referenced during the mod that you'd like to see expanded upon in the future, let Dogma know.  Community ideas are encouraged.

I might be wrong, but I think Dogma mentioned that next update will have a skip function for the first day in Silentwood.

Sure but if you skip does it put you on the bad end path where you signed the document (assuming that's required for the bad end)?

 

I do have ideas for a good side quest for this mod, it even has a bad end (it could be my own mod but I'm lazy and inexperienced with making complex mods). It would fit perfectly behind the Dwarven door in the crypt too but I'm assuming Dogma already has an idea for what's behind that

The skip option comes with a prompt asking all of your meaningful decisions during the quest.

The main quest is completed, but we got a Pregnancy quest to discover the father of the baby if the character is pregnant, alternative routes to complete Falkreath arc and the Silentwood village introduction arc.

In case it's a good place for issue reports (if not - my bad), I have two that I remember as most weird after two playthroughs :

 

1) Whiterun, old fart in the bar -- if I choose blowjob path, no matter what I choose after that, my character always got stuck in the scene when she is supposed to leave the room but can't move, like there is some invisible collision object (near the low table on the balcony, once I managed to fall thru the balcony's floor, while still being (b)locked). Tried this particular encounter dozen times at least, (using different level of saves I went back before trying it again... and again). Same outcome. If I use MCM's "release controls" PC can run in place, jump or duck, rotate all around Z axis but that's it, restoring controls does not do change anything. Attempt to player.moveto nearby visible furniture or some NPC down below, does not work, PC is not teleported. Simply waiting after blowjob eventually makes prick to get bored and agitated in comments, but that's all. So I've never actually successfully finished that path, no matter how hard I've tried.

 

PS: I do not use anything that alters whiterun's and/or Bannered Mare navmesh, and even if there was anything, I carefully and manually patched it before even starting new game with Thief, so at the end it wins.

 

2) Falkreath - phantom, trying to get it caught during second encounter, thus failing at first one intentionally (or not, one time I managed to knock her down with simple iron arrow being on 10th level or below... by accident I guess). Issue is that many times, until I figured it out, my PC gets teleported to/wakes up at Zoe's lair, but after a scene there, when leaving, the world is fucked up to various levels (each time seems a bit different, sometimes it looks like total GPU failure - all black-n-blue, foggy and un-navigable, sometimes just sky is fucked up (see pictures, Severe one I had to modify adding levels and 30% brightness just to make is viewable, in game it was dark and foggy as on unmodified corners). At that point, I can fast travel outside of Falkreath (no matter how far) or coc somwhere/anywhere - world there looks fine, but that means nothing - game is fucked already so I cannot go back to falkreath because it CTDs then. But, it seems like all this happens IF PC got hit by the Phantom while sneaking... If PC doesn't sneak, it wakes up at Zoes but world is not fucked up after leaving there and storyline can progress to second encounter, and so on.

Lo primero, decir que este es el mejor mod de búsqueda que he jugado, enhorabuena. Pero tengo un problema recurrente y no se puede estar pasando. Cuando pregunto a Toris cuanto ganan sus chicas, se levanta y va hacia las camas para que lo vea por mí mismo, pero ahí se detiene. Se supone que debe explicar el sistema pero no hace nada. Tampoco puedo interactuar con nada. No puedo hacer las misiones de prostitución. Le pasó lo mismo cuando le entregué el contrato de Runa, se pone delante de ella pero no continúa. Esta parte la pasé con setstage. Por último, cuando entrego los ingredientes a Runa, hacemos la poción, encontramos la receta, se la damos a Tulvar y subimos a la habitación. Pero al llegar ambos se dan la vuelta y vuelven a sus posiciones habituales. En todas las ocasiones termino sin poder interactuar con objetos y personas. Intentó usar setstage también aquí pero Vala no se activa. Su oficina está cerrada. ¿Qué clase de mod podría provocar esos fallos?

If I remember correctly, your character should sit in the bed to start the scene in Toris brothel. If you can't do that, I'm not sure what could be the cause. But in this case and the one with Runa, perhaps using the debug option in the MCM menu to give the control of the scene might fix it. Regarding Vala's problem in castle dour, any mod that makes changes to castle dour cell could interfere with the scene. You might want to load your mods with xEdit and check the cell to see conflicts.

Thanks to everyone and your breakthroughs, we were able to complete this awesome quest. thank you.
There are only two questions left, one is that there is no conversation to report to Stanius after parting with the thief, and the other is that when I look at Helga's diary, it freezes.
Is there a solution?
Do you really have to go back to your first drink?

maybe @brewmasterhal knows a command to trigger the scene that opens the Thief's room

After you get the party with the Thief, and your stuff back, you only have new scenes if you had drank the memory potion and interact with the memory outside the Bee and Barb bench, front of Haelga's bunkhouse (if you had two drinks) or inside the inn's room if you had one drink. The scene with Stanius happens if you had one drink and decide to report the person you saw in the memory.

I know that this was an issue and many posts were made about it but I'm having trouble getting the guard outside the Falkreaths Jarls house to spawn (for getting the dreamcatcher quest for Zoe). I've tried using setstage commands which dont work and I try spawing in the guard with a player.placeatme XX042FF3 1 command which also doesnt work. when I try it, it appears with an error saying that "item XX042FF3 not found for parameter ObjectID" any chance that there is another script or work around for this problem?

you have to replace XX with thief.esp index, which is specific for your load order.

I can't proceed after drinking alcohol at the bar in Part 1.
I installed the necessary mods, but they don't work properly.
I tried running it via Vortex and manually, but it didn't work.
If someone is kind, could you please think about the cause?

If you are stuck with the dialogue during the drink and the scene doesn't proceed, check if you have the correct Fuz Ro D'oh version, for those who are playing on SE, not AE, it's in the old files.

Worked like a charm, cheers. Now the Guard just walks around and when I try to interact with him he just repeats the stock guard voice lines as if he is not assigned to a quest.

that's probably because using "placeatme" was not best option to choose - I've read somewhere that it potentially can create unwanted duplicates of otherwise unique NPCs - no idea if this is the case, but I would try first with

last one in case he is invisible. At least this way you will not clone something that should remain unique.

It worked after lowering the version of FuzRoDa. thank you.
In Part 4, I can't get any work from Hulda.
What do you think is the cause?
I revived hulda after entering part 4 because I defeated her before.

So, Dogma gave us an update about the estimated date release of the next version.

 

Unfortunately, he won't have time to fill all the stuff he planned in time, so he will have to split the update.

 

We should expect the first part (called 'beta' version) in December, which should have the bulk of the update, or everything he managed to implement so far (he said that the Silentwood ending won't make it to this first part). After he releases this beta, he will immediately continue working to add the rest of the stuff and fix bugs the beta users (patreons) will report. Then, he will release this full version (rest of the stuff he couldn't add in time + fixes) and make a public release. This will probably happen in a few months after the first part expected to December.

 

So, if you aren't a patreon (any of the versions), you'll likely wait until 2024 for the public release. At least that's what I understood, but there were times he released beta versions publicly.

 

And after Silentwood is completed, he will work on the extended version that will add the Dwemer branch of Silentwood and tree house events (for those who are top tier patreons - $10).

 

And after that, he should work on the final enhanced version of Thief that will fix bugs and add missing content for previous parts of the quest. That should be the ultimate version of the mod.
