SexLab Arousal Enhancement
Have you ever wondered why after a kiss or a blowjob your character doesn't become more horny? Well, because there was no mod that made it so...
The idea is to have a mod that would increase player character arousal based on what SexLab animation the character has participated.

 

To be more exact : at the end of each stage of SexLab animation, the mod will look at the animation tags and increase arousal accordingly. Currently, the following tags are taken into account:

  • Vaginal
  • Anal
  • Kiss
  • Blowjob
  • Forced
  • Dirty


Also, SexLab's lewdness of PC is taken into account - lewd characters are aroused more by various naughty activities. In several cases, PC gender and sexual preference (gay/straight) is also taken into account.

 


In short, the decision process on how to increase arousal has a bit involved logic, so in order to see the big picture you can take a look at the mod's source code in it's GitHub repository. The code is relatively short and should be self-explanatory I think.

 

So, what mods to I require for this to work?

Future TODO
Currently implemented logic is only part of what I would like to do here. I plan to expand the logic to include more animation tags. Also, I am planning to tie this into Devious Attributes (I am rewriting Devious Attributes - moving into SKSE as much functionality as possible. If curious, you can see the progress here )

 

This mod is somewhat play-tested by me, and should not have any issues - it is simple and lightweight. But take into account that it might suffer from works on my machine syndrome (since the mod is very simple and except arousal increase is without side-effects, I'd be a bit surprised to hear about issues, but who knows...)

 

Aaaand... any criticism, thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

No, there is no need for that.

The mod simply subscribes to existing SexLab events

Hi m.skynet,

 

tested Your mod for a short while with Radiant Prostitution and for me it works flawless so far :) 

Noticed this mod is all about the PC, would be cool if the participating NPC could get the arousal boost too; maybe we could get multiple orgasms in one animation then with the appropriate mod (talking about "SexLab Separate Orgasm" by Ed86) :D

I thought "time rate after orgasm" took care of this? I guess it didn't.. thanks for the mod! :)

 

It is a bit different - this mod increases arousal immediately after each animation stage, and time rate after orgasm increases the arousal over time

Separate Orgasm uses enjoyment value that is provided by SexLab, so currently it is unrelated to SexLab Arousal Enhancement - as it affects arousal.

However, generalizing this mod to cover NPCs is possible, I think I look into including NPCs in calculations. Also this gives me an idea - I will look into affecting enjoyment as well (not sure whether it can be influenced via SexLab API)

I thought the same thought as Totenbarg, this would make Seperate Orgasms even better but even with Arousal it will add some unpredictability. Interesting idea to fill in some gaps. Thanks for sharing.

a. is this mod compatible with Display model 2 ? there npc and pc can be tied up in zaz fuirniture and chains. arousal can be modified in mcm up to 400 % 8default).

 

b. i dont know any good mod that uses arousal anymore  (i dont call tdf Prostitution a good anymore, chaos with sexlab 1.62 binding)

a. Should be compatible, though since I don't use Display Model 2, cannot be 100% certain. 

b.  I don't know what mods you consider as good, everyone  has their own  preferences...

There *are* mods that use arousal, take Cursed Loot for example...

nice! it definitely made a noticeable difference, that's for sure. this is how the arousal system should have always been. I'll be using this from now on.  hopefully I'll still be single when all of this has a chance to be on the special edition :P

Great idea, thanks for this. I can't believe that this isn't already part of Sexlab Aroused.

And while v0.1 works fine so far in v0.2 the player character arousal doesn't increase when I play masturbation animations.

My follower gets her fix but my female player char doesn't. She should though, I tested it with a few animations tagged as vaginal.

The "cannot access an element of a None array stuff most likely is from my own HDT sextoys script. It removes sex toy havok objects that aren't there on animations without sextoys. Doesn't matter though, just ignore it.
