Basically. I like the characters, and the story, but the mechanics of the mod are more broken than Skyrim on release date. To much of the mod is factored around the player already basically doing almost everything in the game so that staged vanilla events don't break quest progression. 

 

There's enough that's gold that I would still reinstall.

 

Separately, having a problem with quest BBJ01 

 

Jade never actually picked up the tracker off of the guy's corpse, and I don't have it in my inventory, so I can't put it on the relay tower. I would just use <additem> to put it into my inventory except I don't know the name of the item to look up so I can find its itemid.

IIRC, Jade doesn't actually pick up anything, she just moves there, says she has it, and then the scene progresses

So Strong goes on about what an amazing strong warrior my Nora is and than his personal quest is fucking some random smuck?! removed essential and  blew him and his whore of the face of the earth with mini nukes when the quest was done.

Boston Breeder is broken in the new update. The death claw quest where you get kidnapped by Hermes.  Your supposed to go to the building with the radio inside of it. Buuuuuut its guarded by enclave members in suits of power armor... WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. I CANT CANCEL OR LEAVE THE QUEST FOR ANOTHER DAY. HERMES WILL FIND A WAY BRO. AND FOR SOME ODD REASON THAT POWER ARMOR YOU GAVE US IS BROKEN FOR ME? I CANT ENTER INTO IT. thats besides the point. It sucks that I dont want to go back in time because I gone so far with some other quests and locations that it will take a while to get back.

Please tell me what to do? Is this mod not compatible with the new update or something and I should just disable the mod?

There are no Enclave members in the base game. You have a conflicting mod.

Sorry for not mentioning which quest it was. its apart of the newest update of fallout. the quest is called "echoes of the past".

just go into your game folder and delete dlc.

This should help with that problem.

Method 1: Disabling via Steam (PC)

1. Right-click: on Fallout 4 in your Steam library.
2. Select Properties.
3. Go to the DLC tab.
4. Untick: the box next to "Echoes of the Past" to disable it.
5. Reinstall by ticking the box again.

Use the command Getstage BBC01
 

 

Use command SetStage BBC01 XX  replace XX with the current stage+10.

The issue I am having involves quest BBM03b.

It sends me to Mystic Pines, which sends me to Farraday's lab which seems to simultaneously start BBM09. The female Dr. doesn't tell me to meet in DC, she wants to follow me. So, I naturally take her back to the lab. The prompts then lead me to complete BBM09 plus start and complete BBM08. BBM03b just sits open. I am trying to console command my way through it but keep getting stuck with April telling me about her "close" relationship with her mom (😂).

Nobody else has had this problem?

Also, doing all this caused me to start BBJ01 as well. Which is why I started looking i to the problem because Jade was now a companion but April was still a follower and would not go away.

You can absolutely use fusion girl with this mod, someone finally converted the outfits https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/93499 , you do need the original file as well.

I spend 90% of the story just typing console inputs to progress, so it's no fun. I'm sorry, but my conclusion about the mod is that it's completely useless.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is just one example of the 90% error rate, and no, it's not due to the installation or loading order. In the Nuka-Ride Story, 12% of the time I have to use console commands.

AFAIK, it's "normal" as in all the times I played this quest, he never became an actual follower.
