Stuzy44 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 listen...i like mods...i love moders ..but WTF...is everything going to be the same.skyrim has been moded to death..new or semi new games are going there to.sims mods look bleak and as for skyrim...well it;s gone.the question now? do you think i am just bored or am i right about this. What do you think?...moders fix stuff that game makers f*** up on...they open many things in games.let's look at skyrim..do we need another armor or cloths.do we need another body?..hell no...we need modders to think outside the box of the norm..like manipulator or sexlab.
Prometeus5879 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Having a lot of mods gives everyone the option to pick what they like, having no mods gives you...
Stuzy44 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Having a lot of mods gives everyone the option to pick what they like, having no mods gives you... wait i did not say have no mods...a good idea would be to open a idea and challenge page to modders.i think mods are good if they make a change..but armor, cloths, swords and so on are out there,
GimmeBACON Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Modders make what they enjoy first, and give freely (most times) second. If you're seeing something missing... make it, empty words have little value. "Be the change you wish to see in the world"

Wolborg Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 is everything going to be the same.skyrim has been moded to death. [---]do you think i am just bored or am i right about this. [---] do we need another armor or cloths.do we need another body?..hell no...we need modders to think outside the box of the norm..like manipulator or sexlab. Not to death quite yet, but yes, without doubt (the lack of) replayability is the Achilles' heel of a Skyrim-like game. You can mod is as much as you want, you still end up doing the same things over and over. How many times can you go to Alvor's house and act like you have no idea what is going on in Skyrim? Or try to uncover the Forsworn Conspiracy as if you didn't know all about it? Hearing Ulfric's conversation with his assistant over and over again was driving me crazy already in my very first game. I dread the thought of having to go there again. Too bad that after you have played Skyrim once, there'll be almost no surprises. All the towns will be in exactly the same places as before. All the important quests are already known to you. What does it matter how beautiful the houses are and how lifelike the thunderstorms are when there is nothing left to discover? I have added several new lands to my next game. I hope it'll help to compensate for the repetitiveness. So I totally agree with you – we need modders who think outside the box. It is clear to me that a completely new geography with completely new people and a new plot is technically impossible, but SexLab mods are making Skyrim a whole new game and maybe there are other things that can be done to make Skyrim not merely look different but actually enable a new kind of playing experience.

What I'm getting at is... modders make what they want to make, and if you want something specific that hasn't been made, be a pioneer and MAKE it. I'm drunk, but I thought that was easy to understand. Edit: P.S, I think new quality mods would be awesome, but if it's not the dream of the creator, then it won't be as good.
Stuzy44 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 wolborg..you are totally right on how sexlab changes the game..without it, it would only be slash an smash stuff.but houses and lands as you say may be good but it has the same feel of skyrim...and once it's done it's done...random is what we need..a never ending change..or is that the new year cheer coming through?..lol oh by the way..happy new year to all
myuhinny Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 @Stuzy44 Then you better start to think outside the box of the norm and get to it things won't happen if you don't do anything. Modders make what they want and like if what they like isn't what you like then learn how to do it and do it yourself. Also the game is far from dead and tomorrow I'll be back at it making more new armors and outfits for my skyrim character to wear. As well as adding maybe some new creatures.
Stuzy44 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 GimmeBACON.can i have eggs and beans whith that,,lol,,,your right in a way...but what i'm saying is why put it out there when there is so many.and i join you in the drunk place that is new year..lol
GimmeBACON Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 why put it out there when there is so many. Usually because enough people ask them to do so, and they're generous enough to give to those whom want it. Edit: Not me though... I'm a selfish asshole, and being a modder is a thankless task, with to many people demanding you to change your creations to their desires.

Usually because enough people ask them to do so, and they're generous enough to give to those whom want it. Edit: Not me though... GimmeBACON Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 ok i understand people want clothes we all do....it's not that's the problem..it's that it's the same old road...we need mods like sexlab and so on to make the game better,,,hell look at a armor mode to sexlab...and see the changes? You don't get it, scripting, coding, all that shit... it's not easy. You need to find a modder with a passion to put their time and effort into making something like that, and if it's not their vision in the first place... it's not getting done. Now I'm tired, I'll continue this talking around each-other stuff in the morning if I could still be bothered.
Stuzy44 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Listen GimmeBACON No 1. i bet your not a asshole.but you know when you mod it's for you.you do a good job i guess i don't know any of your mods but i guess there good.what i need to say to everyone is that i don't think modders are bad...i just think they are going down the same old road..someone said they were asked to do it for them.then why subject the whole community to it,,...? I have 221 mods in my list 13 made by me...mostly sex, followers, and environment type mods..no armor or swords and stuff ok i understand people want clothes we all do....it's not that's the problem..it's that it's the same old road...we need mods like sexlab and so on to make the game better,,,hell look at a armor mode to sexlab...and see the changes? myuhinny Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 @Stuzy44 You can never have too many clothes and I can wear a lot in one day. Also have done a creature or 2. Some nudity under spoiler.
yatol Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I don't know what ypur getting at...moddders may like what they make but has it been done...plus don't you want to make what has not been done? i am curious, how are modders supposed to do something that have never been done, if they don't even know what it is?

It's invention, inspiration, ceartive and so on.i'm sure a lot of stuff like eg.everything had to be thought up first.
Mud Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Enderal only just released a few months ago. A total conversion of the game still too inside the box for you?
Darkpig Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Gameplay changes means people have to work around the gameplay mechanics of Skyrim but visual design has no such limits.
