Morferous Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016  Still, though, I don't want to ruin anyone's day  I originally got super zealous and a worked for a solid week on the mod, only to realize everything was being thrown into Mod Organizer's overwrite file... along with FNIS,SKSE's derivatives, etc..  I did my best to figure out what was and wasn't part of my mod, only alternative being to start from scratch.  Anyway, I suspect I just missed something.  Is it something I should remove?   MO Overwrite folder should always be cleared anyway. Don't leave any tool output data there, but create Output folders for them instead. For example: Output Bashed Patch, Output FNIS, Output SKSE, Output DSR etc.  This is also recommended, because running order for tools is sometimes strict. Keeping output data in separate folders will also help you to check, if you have old data lingering around and if you need to rerun tools after running other tool. Recommended order is: Bashed Patch SkyProc Patchers FNIS Direct tool data may still appear in Overwrite, but you can just grab and drop it to those folders in MO. Ingame data, like SKSE, will go directly to your set Output folders, once you have dropped original data from Overwrite to those folders. You do not need to take any other steps, unless you intentionally clear those folders from all data.  You can do different output folders for different profiles, if you like. For example Output <ProfileName> Bashed Patch.  MO indeed drops the data to Overwrite. I consider this as a good thing, because you can just right click the Overwrite and create a full mod out of that data, with all mod content you have created in one folder. Took a couple of days, but it turns out out that there was only one mod, NPCs of Dibella, that is incompatible. As for any others, since I am on top of keeping my mods up to date, I am assuming the updates removed any dependencies on USKIP.

For example my folders look like this: "Over SKSE (<Profile name>)" "Over FNIS (<Profile name>)" "Over Bashed (<Profile name>)"  This way I can filter on "Over" and see the Overwrite folder and my output folders at the same time. Since I have several profiles, I have to add the profile name to it too, so things won't get confused.

the .esp in the original, so *yes* that new to this).  Could you tell me what I did wrong so I can correct it?   I would guess its the overwrites, being asked to overwrite files from FNIS and from DDA ( i think) and heretical resources  Now admittedly i'm not a mod creator but from my experience of using mods its a bit unusual to overwrite the files from the resource mods (i.e. i dont recall ever overwritting a FNIS file before) so unless your using MO with its virtual directory shenanigans peeps might need to re-install those after removing your mod  Unrelated but i just installed the latest TheBlackSilhouette Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 i really like the beginning of this mod great job of teasing the sequel when the sequel will be avaible ?  Just wanted to let you know that it's not abandoned.  I'm just holding out until SKSE64 and SkyrimSE support before going forward.  I know that's probably not going to be a popular answer, but I don't want to produce a major mod when I know most of what I did might have to be redone.  That said, I will probably work on the settings and locations when I have the time (I doubt there will be any compatibility issues there).  Also, I'm pretty busy with my fledgling career. Once I'm a little more stable (both financially and and schedule) I'll do more  Hey just wondering if there has been any progress?  See above.  (but thanks for the comment and interest)  Idea of this mod is awesome. I am hopefull that mod will be improve! I am bad in English (I am from Russia), but if you need help, we help you! I mean, all fanats of this mod help you!  Don't worry about the English.  I have two degrees in writing and still think it's a garbage language  If you want to help (and potentially create your own mods), check this out:   I learned everything from this and tutorials like this in a matter of hours.  After that, it's just patience, getting used to the system, and saving a lot (one major crash will make you learn that lesson).  You'll be amazed what you can do.  Hoping for a mod that just has the item removal aspects of this mod.  What do you mean?  Let me know and I might be able to help.  This looks so fun! Checking in occasionally . I wanted to hold off in case there was spoilers and there was a more completed version later  See the first reply.  Also, yeah, there's a "mystery" to this mod that might be spoiled with too much digging. Â

Â Once I figure out how to make that work, that might be doable

Â It's amazing just how doable modding is, isn't it? Â Â Well, I've not tried my hand at anything yet. But I am familiar with the process from OpenSim. On my to-be-figured-out list is importing meshes & textures as well as applying them. But, all in good time. I'm confident enough that I've picked out a location for my first attempt, a player home, of course.
dreadme1 Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 this is in reply to post #42 check out immerslave and devious device cutting hun,they both allow you to cut of leather devices with knives and swords,just be careful useing a sword near your neck or you might axcidently lopped your fool head of,lol.

I waited for a while and took 3 clothes from the chest and wore one of them and then sat down on chair. But nothing happened. What the hell am I supposed to do???
