PsychoMachina Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 Ah' date=' I get it. So even if I want my Elin to be lower in height (0.8), if I select the normal skeleton and go into 1st person view, I will still see the normal height right? Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm a very careful person after having, some months ago, my whole Oblivion installation ruined because I installed a race mod. [/quote'] Normal height = height x1.0 = adult height Selecting to install Normal (x1.0) skeleton does not install a 1st-person skeleton so the game will load the default adult 1st-person camera. When installing the x0.8 skeletons from the custom body pack, a x0.8 1st-person skeleton is also installed. I do not know why, but if installing the x0.8 1st-person skeleton from the Main Pack then overwriting it with the x0.8 1st-person skeleton from the Body Pack will not change the camera height - the camera will remain LOWER than Elin height. I have replaced the 1st-person skeleton in the 'Ahri' Main Pack with the skeleton from the custom CBBE Body pack.

RandomUser88 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I found a simple fix, just removed teh skeleton.nif from the 2st person folder located in meshes and everything works fine. I should've done that before. Thanks for all your help.

I should've done that before. Thanks for all your help. [/quote'] That would be something handled by the user. I have included those basic skeletons because the main pack contains it's own body (non-nude version of the Tera body) and can be used as-is without the custom CBBE or UNP bodies.
Tom21 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 There's a 2chElin folder, a 2chelin BBP body fix folder, and a 2chElin fix folder , "just removed teh skeleton.nif from the 2st person folder" Sooo What folder is the "the 2st person folder" is it in?

[/quote'] Typo. There are no "2nd person folder". RandomUser88 was referring to Meshes > Actors > Character > _1stPerson folder. The 1st-person skeleton that comes with the main race pack causes the 1st-person camera to be lower than x0.8 height and overwriting it with the skeleton from the custom body pack doesn't change the camera height. The solution is to either delete the basic skeleton then install the one from the body pack or, when installing the main pack, choose the 'NORMAL' skeleton so that it doesn't install the 1st-person skeleton (then install the 1st-person and 3rd-person skeleton from the custom body pack).

The Elin-Apachii hair packs include the original Apachii hairs so there is no need to install anything else. ElinRaceTaint.esm contains the Elin hairs/ears/tails found in the HAIRS slider. This is included in the main race pack and a patched version is included with the Elin NPC and Enemy mod. You only need to install the patched version when installing Elin NPC and Enemy. If the Elin npcs have the dark head and you know they should have different hairs (from ElinRaceTaint.esm, not from Apachii or other custom hair pack) then just reinstall Elin NPC and Enemy. As for FNIS, run the generator and check your game. Simple as that. The camera height problem is caused by the game not correcting itself when playing a different race of adult height. This happens when installing any race that is below x1.0 height. The only solution to fixing the 3rd-person camera is to edit Skyrim.ini found in Documents > my games > Skyrim. You need to open Skyrim.ini in Notepad and at the bottom create a section called [CAMERA]. Then below it add these lines: fOverShoulderCombatAddY=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosZ=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosX=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosY=0.0000 fOverShoulderPosZ=0.0000 fOverShoulderPosX=0.0000 fOverShoulderPosY=0.0000 fOverShoulderHorseAddY=0.0000 fOverShoulderHorsePosZ=0.0000 fOverShoulderHorsePosX=0.0000 You need to change "0.0000" to some value that changes the camera position. Only make changes to those commands that end in 'PosZ, 'PosX, and 'PosY. Example: fOverShoulderCombatPosX=30.0000, fOverShoulderCombatPosY=10.0000. I can't provide the ideal values for these commands because I have the opposite problem, my 3rd-person camera height for the Elins is about normal adult height. I have to zoom back or play in 1st-person. Strange.

RandomUser88 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Just wondering if the Elin followers overwrite the existing skeleton and .esp and that. I'm tempted to try them out but after all I've struggled to make the Elin race work as I wanted, I don't want to modify it now. I normally use Nexus Mod Manager to install things, but if needed, I'll do a manual install.

PsychoMachina Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 I finally finished the color-matching pubic hairs, but it's not perfect. The pubic hairs changes colors with the head hair, but equipping and removing armor will change it to it's default color. The same happens when restarting the game. If there enough people expressing interest, I'll do the same for the custom UNP bodies. If not, I'll just move on to other projects. The new body pack contains the modified custom CBBE bodies (and textures) and is available with the latest color patch as a separate download. The color patch contains just enough colors to choose without taking too long to browse through the whole selection. <<<<<<<<<<---+--->>>>>>>>>>> @RandomUser88 The standalone Elin followers contain files that can overwrite some of the files from the main pack. The follower Rem contains custom body files like that of the CBBE or UNP body packs so you can change her body. You'll need to install or reinstall the custom body after installing Rem. @Tom21 The Camera settings I posted are "blank". I'll post the settings you can copy/paste to Skyrim.ini. Just to be sure, this is to return the 3rd-person camera to adult height.
Warstomp32 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I have tiny problem....her breast is going upward rather than downward and i use the "CBBE plus" for this.... btw, is it me or when i happen to install this mod, the 1st person look become like this when it's inside of a house?..

[img']http://i45.tinypic.com/2rpa3pf.jpg[/img] 1) When you see breasts point upward it means that CHSBHC is needed. Here you go. Install the folders in your Data folder, but do not add them to the Elin race folders it doesn't work that way. 2) I do not know what is causing that. Are you running an ENB or mod that changes lighting/shading? CHSBHC-v2-4-1.7z
User1608 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I got a question regarding the Castanic race mod: Does anybody know what magic is within the baozi files? It does awesome things: it fixes neck seams and makes female faces and heads completely smooth. Even races like the dark elves look completely gorgeous; no more wrinkles. I haven't find any mod on nexus which is capable of that, having tried dozens of face mods. Any clue what compilation of mods is inside the baozi files? Or is it entirely custom made? Thanks
Warstomp32 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 now, i can play fine!..thanks @psyhomachine!...^^ btw, the tera armor for elin is not compatible with the UNP/CBBE...it shown floating neck!.. hope you can find a way to fix it!..
Tom21 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 The "Tera_Elin_Pack-TeraElinFullPack" is not compatible with UNP it uses the helmet Head But the fox12 Armor - UNPB BBP, New Fox18 for TeraBody, New Fox19 for TeraBody, Tera Elin R01-03-10-18 and the Tera Elin R05-06-07 all work Great.
d3ik3n Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Does anyone know is the races react well to being a vampire ? I know sometimes custom races dont look good when they turn into vampire, that or their eyes dont change and their face doesnt change and in some cases, the game doesnt seem them as a vampire. Is this the case with the Castanic Race ?

I had to remove it from my data folder, though, because it gave me errors in the creation kit and seemed to crash my game on start up. After I removed that, everything seems fine now and I didn't actually notice any change in appearance of my character.
Tom21 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Do Not know about vampires but she work's Great as a Werewolf. was using the "WereFox and WereTiger Mod" she can turn into them to.
PsychoMachina Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 @Firstlegacy The only armors I know that are incompatible with the custom bodies are the ones that are included and used by the summon Elins. These armors are the same as the Elin armors found in the Tera Mod Collection. The New Fox armors (New Fox 18 and New Fox 19) have been updated to fit the new bodies, the Elin armors found in the loli armor pack also fits. I'm sure the new Elin armors Miziuro converted and found on the Nexus (search for Tera armor packs) will also fit. @D3ik3n I have not tested the Castanic's for vampire transformation and abilities. Honestly, I am biased towards werewolves. There are many mods both here and at Nexus that 'fixes' the many vampire bugs or improves them so use anyone of those mods with the Castanics. I will be redoing the Castanics soon. @User1608 and @Eyrika Baosi.esp and Baosi.bsa was custom-made. The BSA contains the usual custom meshes/textures/morph files plus animation, hairs, and other files you would find in beauty mods. Baosi.esp is a mystery. I tried to have a peak inside with TESVsnip (no records appeared) and TES5edit (got errors) and it still remains a mystery. I know how to create beauty mods so when I recreate the Castanics/lsCastanics I'll use my own. <<<<<<<<<<---+--->>>>>>>>>> UPDATE: I have decided to finish the color-changing pubic hairs for the UNP Elin bodies. I'll also make a few packs with various default colors for those who do not know how to edit the meshes with Nifscope. Hopefully, after this I'll be able to get started on the human Elins, Elin-x117, and new and updated Elin mannequins.
Tom21 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Miziuro's Tera armor packs just got 2 Elin armors in it. But like to see somebody convert "Elin2chlomod_20120208" lot of nice Elin armors in it that was never convertrd over to the new UNP/CBBE bodys!
Tom21 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 And like to see the "Better Vampire Lord Transformation" or the "Custom Vampire Lord Mod" made over into a Elin Vampire Lord, Or Even have a Elin Werefox, Werecat....Ea...Ea...Ea...!
PsychoMachina Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Okay, I made some alternative default pubic hair colors for those who are unfamiliar with Nifscope. I plan on also doing this for the UNP bodies. NEW COLORS - Blonde - Burgundy - Pink - White
