Sounds fun, thanks for sharing.  The idea of a simple card game in inns could be adapted into a SexLab Gambling mod with different possible "outcomes" (especially for caught cheating) with, as you suggested, modifiers for cheating based on Pickpocket skill.  A little while ago, I'd posted a request for a drinking game mod.  Both could add something to the tavern experience.

Well, in this mod if you're caught you simply forfeit some small money (half of your bet or so). Not the most immersive design, I guess.

Im currently stuck on xbox so i cant use good mods but im still playing a fragile desperate character.  The story goes that a spoiled young noble (character creation over with diverse race and gender plug in. This makes character creation more like morrowind all skill start at 5 and you choose a class i create a custom class with no combat skills it also reduces carry weight and some other stats for females) travels to a new land with her family where they are ambushed the men are killed and the woman taken as slaves for the emperor. Only the elder daughter manages to escape. (On PC i would use one of the devious start mods that had an "i escaped my master" option it allowed you to choose to start in restraints and with a bounty)   Now for the first time in her life this girl must fend for herself (ineed makes a constant income a necessity and allows you to reduce carry weight, remove most food laying about, and set food to spoil over time. Failure to tend needs result in debuffs to combat and learning speed and even death. ) in a harsh new land at that. ( im sure you are familiar with Frostfall but key features are that you get weaker with higher exposure not to mention the added resources you have to gather and carry.)

 

With combat skills starting at 5 even lvl1 enemies can be a challenge and it only gets worse as a focus on other skills levels your character faster than combat skills can keep up. But make life even harder set prison overhaul to actually reduce skills rather than just reset progress. I believe wear and tear has an option to do this as well. This can really hurt in longer play throughs where your character and word are at level 30 but prison and rape have removed enough skill points to keep them equivalent to lvl10.

 

Another to consider is devious training. Spend to much time in devices and you will get debuffs for not wearing them. 

 

I think that is everything that directly effects the power of the character. Many other mods make the world harsher but thats another topic.

but i also like to play like this... 

 

so i'm gonna share with my setup

 

1) Most important is SL Defeat

 - 100% chance for knock You down when u take dmg for more than 3% of Your max Hp in single shop ( pretty anything can one shot u )

 

2) Weapon DMG Ui

 - set everything to x0.0 Dmg, i always keep daggers at 2.5x Dmg, bows at 10.0x Dmg ( explain later ) and Hands at 2.0x Dmg ( Magic disabled )

 

3) ofc play on Legendary ^_^

4) Settings:

 a) open Your SkyrimPrefs.ini and set it as following:

bGamepadEnable=0
bCrosshairEnabled=0
fHUDOpacity=0.7400
bSaveOnPause=0
bSaveOnTravel=0
bSaveOnWait=0
bSaveOnRest=1

No Crosshair - so u can't see where you aim with your bow

No auto save on pause, travel or wait... you can save your game ONLY when you go sleep

No Minimap visible ( and plz. don't open Map... play without Map )

//Edit: bShowCompass=0

 

5) SL Kidnapped... well... probably every1 know that mod :x... no need to explain what this mod do...

6) SD+ ... same as point 5

 

and ofc. mods for needs like sleep drink eat etc.

 

 

I'm using Radiant Prostitution to earn coins  ( but i'm using minimal gold pay settings )

+ Trade and Barter ( set sell prices to very low and buy prices to very high )

 

Its hard to remember all mods but those are always MUST have for me

and ofc. setup i always play with :3...

so sexlab survival is a mod that introduces inequality making women weaker. there is also an option to remove that from female followers making it just the pc that is weak. but it includes a bunch of other stuff as well as you probably can guess. not sure if you want all the features. I really wish I knew how to mod because you just gave me a lot of ideas...

you might like sexlab survival than. removes the compass and map until you acquire one, it also has licenses that you have to buy making it so you can't wear armour carry weapons or wield magic in cities. there also is a trading license. you have full control over exactly how they work, disabling the ones you don't want, changing how much they cost, and how long they last. you also have to pay a toll before you can leave. you can sneak around to avoid the toll with the help of mods to add hidden ways in and out of the city or if I remember correctly there are other ways of paying the toll than money. it also adds the kennels which is a mostly safe place to sleep for free, you get tied up, and there is a good chance you get fucked by dogs or horses. also I could never decrease when I save. my game is way to unstable
