I just reinstalled Skyrim, and this mod doesn't work for me (at least for the female orcs, I didn't checked the other NPCs yet). It's the only ESP I have on the list, and my game is in the 1.6.89.0.6 version. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need something else beside the ESP file?

put them in the load order as high as possible. diretly after the esm files, if it possible. i think another mod load his options first and my esp becomes obsolete. to check the load order you can use tools like Wrye Bash ore Nexus Mod Manager.

if it the only esp you use, i have no glue. i'll check the orc females again. if it a unique npc? tell me the name?

pls, have a test with the current one from first post and thank you for the hint with the orc ladys.

i've found six orc females with that option active. now they will walk like a female should do. ;)

the biggest problem with steam workshop, that i have is the connection to your own steam account. to much personality to my opinion.

second.... steam workshop doesn't show how the mod will be installed. so people will wreck her client sooner or later in fact of incompatibility and missing knowledge about the mod mechanics of skyrim.

Thank you! Really improves females in the game!

Thank you SOOO MUCH!!

I installed other female walk fixes and none of them help followers.

I can't wait to install this tonight and see if it fixes my wolf-mate Jenassa and my wife Lydia.

Hey Sbire,

I have a problem i really hope you can help me with.

First let me say I've been looking for a mod just like this. and this is it. So thank you for your hard work of art.

so i've been playing with mods and and going through the game. i decided to give your advice a shot but took it a step further and re-installed the game. I have no other mods installed. just yours :D .

After some testing with some old saved games, i find this mod works perfectly. but when i load my newer saves I notice some females won't walk the way your mod should make them walk. Lydia and Irileth from whitrun castle for example walk like females with the "old save" but with a "new" save, they walk like males.

What i notice is the last save that works with your mod happens to be set right before i give the Jarl of whiterun the axe from windhelm and right before i start one of the first companions quest with Farkas (to judge me) - I'm assuming either of these two quests could be the problem, since i only have this problem with the saves after these quests.

Note: in my newer saves I've returned to whiterun and bacame an official companion / werewolf, and decide to hold off on returning the Axe to Windhelm to do some exploring and other quests. (i don't want to go all the way back to the old saves... that would be a real pain.

I would really appreciate any help you can offer.

do you use the official HD texture pack from Bethesda?

in the case, that is true... pleas loade them via skyrim.ini as archive and disable the *.esp in your modlist.

skyrim.ini -> add them here, following the syntax below

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa

your prob sounds like a conflict with the loadorder.

otherwise; have unistalled you mods instead of mine or have you startet a new game?

Yea i use the HD pack. i tried as you suggested and modified the skyrim.ini file. The game loads up just as it did but those two girls are the only girls still walking like men.

I did another experement and narrowed down when the issue starts... From a clean install of the game' date=' "[u']no mods[/u]" - directly after i purchase my first house in whiterun. "breezehome" i believe it's called. I quit to the desktop and then install your mod. Only Lydia (housecarl) and Irileth (dark elf in whiterun castle) still walk like men. every other female walks like a female :( -

But i'm certain now. If i purchase the house with your mod already installed, everything is o.k. I just don't wan't to start over. I just purchased the game and i'm about 6 days (real time) beyond that point of the game...

any other ideas?

Have you tried a clean save of your existing game?

Disable the plugin and load the save you want to salvage and hit escape and make a new save. Then exit the game. Enable the mod and start the game and load the save you just made and see if you can buy the house and have things work.

hmm lydia and irileth are girls that i've touched at first time.

hmm... i'll check the esp maybe some black magic are happen.

sry 'ive no glue, but you told us a workaround, use this. *edit* i see you won't. */edit*

otherwise, did you have some meshes, left at data?

other idea..

only create a simpel esp by your own..

start ck

click to data

start a new project

load skyrim.esm and update.esm

search for housecarl whiterun and irileth under actors

doubleclick both

disable at the traits tab []use Opposite Gender Anim

safe your new esp

start your game

Thanks for the tip... but to no avail:huh: and no mesh folder. just a clean install. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this issue? It seems to only happen when purchasing a house before installing "NMFWLM by sbire". After it is installed, the housecarl the home comes with stays stuck with the "opposite gender animation".

I don't know why it also effects the female dark elf in the castle. also, i don't know if this is just something that only happens at whiterun. It may also happen to other castles/ housecarls. i haven't purchased any other homes. just whiterun's "breezehome".

I would like to try and undo the purchase of this house if it's possible. (and purchase it again after the Mod is installed). Does anyone know the console command to undo a purchase of a house?

I know one can undo a quest and start it again later as show in the "bugs" section of this example -

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Helm_of_Yngol

The command being - "setstage Favor158 20"

i changed the npc's below at CK

Tilde

Vori

Vigilant of Stendarr

RedguardRace - DawnguardMelee1H

It will work ...pls load the esp before the questline of dawnguad starts.

(@notrandom you're not alone with your problem... bethesda did some foo with the savegame :( )

Masters for the current "DAWNGUARD": BySbire_FemaleBehavoir.esp

00 Skyrim.esm
01 Update.esm
02 Dawnguard.esm

 I have just noticed something weird...

Female Stormcloak guards in Windhelm walk correctly - but female Stormcloak guards in Ivarstead still use the male animation.

thx for information... ivarstead cell are touched by several mods. maybe you have one with a higher loadorder. sometimes skyrim shows a weird behavoir with suchj little details.

Does this add a female walk animation or does it just make all females walk in the female manner? From what I've understood from the comments, it seems like it just sets all the women to walk in the female stance, but from your images, it looks like you've come up with a new female walk.

I'm just wondering because I'm using Victoria's high heel animation atm and I'm not sure if I have to replace it or just use this mod on top of it.

And does anyone know if this mod works with SMS? I have no idea why it shouldn't.

the esp will change the stance, only. no custom animations will be added. the animations at the screenshots are used by me, thats all.

*update*

actually i have a more carfully done version WIP.

and i have a idea....

if some female are using a template by default, i has edited the template, only.

in the case some touched that npc and has disabled the template dependings, the npc will walk like his own options, which i has doesn't touched.

hope this helps:

as a pouposal:

1. dunFolgunthurAdventurer4

1.1. depends on -> TreasCorpseBanditRedguardFemale

1.1.1 depends on -> EncBandit01Melee1HRedguardF (<- touched by my mod)
