[moved to dl files] no more females walking like "machines". "NMFWLM by sbire"

Damn - following the taking of Whiterun' date=' the new Stormcloak guard females there are using the male walking animation.

 

Moving the .esp around in the load order doesn't seem to be doing anything. Is there any [simple, easily applied'] way to fix this from my end? :huh:

 

has it been working with the old female stormcloak guards?

As far as I could see, it was working okay with the ones in Windhelm earlier - although not with the ones in Ivarstead. Those were the only locations I'd checked up 'til now.

 

EDIT: Just checked again post-Whiterun takeover. Windhelm still walking fine, Ivarstead still walking wrong.

 

If it's any help, I've noticed a few things over time:

 

- It continues to work fine on Lydia, and on Delphine.

 

- HOWEVER - it needs to be above my HousecarlWhiterun.esp in the load order, or it removes the edited face texture. The same goes for the face textures in my Children Of Skyrim - TOWN GUARDS.esp. De-activating my town guards mod, or moving it around in the load order, does not alter the behaviour of any models.

 

- It's also apparently not being caused by "Expanded Towns" - I checked that one earlier.

Ivarstead .... these cell are often touched by some housing mods.

UPDATE: Here's something curious, which I have just this minute noticed...

 

If a female guard begins in Dragonsreach (one walks from the back patio, through the hall, through the front door, onto the porch, and then back again, correct walk throughout), the female guard will walk correctly.

 

Go out the gate & down the stairs however, and they do not.

 

If a guard starts down in Whiterun (several patrol up the stairs, onto the porch, and back down again), they retain the male animation.

 

Two female guard NPCs using the same face model may use different animations - one male, one female.

 

Here is the full list of my current mods on the off-chance that one of these is a known issue (plugins posted above, earlier):

UPDATE: Ugh. Even if I disable every plugin in my list it still just keeps happening. Whatever is causing it must have happened at some point & then become "embedded" somehow. :(

i've disabled at the most of females the option "use Opposite Gender Anim" from the Tab "Traits" at the actors menu from the creation kit.

sometimes i have that strange behavoir, too. but i doesn't care about it. this game is far away from perfect coding, but most of the time it runs very well. so i can deal with it.

I dont know what the hell im doing. I installed this like all the other mods but my character still walks like a man. I opened the creator kit but didnt know what to do. Can somebody please post instructions for newbies like me? I really want this mod :)

that mod doesn't change the walking style of your character.

I really wish this mod could work along with the 'decent women' mod on the nexus, I love the way it makes all the female npc's look.

The follower pack is fine, I guess because it doesn't use an esp, but the enemies and commoners packs conflict. If I load the DW esps last, they look good but they still use male animations. If I load your behavior esp last, they get the female animations but they also get the grey face thing (even if I just use the DW facegen files and disable the DW esp). So basically I have to choose between girls that are unatractive and girls that walk like gorillas :( It's a lose/lose situation. I don't suppose anyone knows of another mod like DW that would work along with this? I've been looking for a while and can't find anything. There's a few that alter alter a couple of select characters, but nothing on the scope of DW which basically alters every female in the game including enemies.

have you tested different loadorders...

 

1st load my esp before

2nd load my esp after

Yes... actually I mentioned that in my post. If I load yours before, they still use male animations. If I load yours after, they get the grey-face bug (and it's not just grey faces, they look really messed up).

 

I do apprecite all the work you put into your mod, but I've decided that if I have to choose, I'll go with the better looking girls. I wish I could have both though :(

the gray face can be solved by your own with a facgendata export via ctrl+f4 at ck. at first post i've wrote what i've done inside that esp. you can open ck, load these other esp as active file and do the same. time needed ca. one hour.

 

sry but there's no other way to make your wish come true. say thx to bethesda for that awesome gray face bug :/ .

Thanks for the tip. The Ck is pretty confusing for me but I'll try that out tonight.

Wrye bash was the first thing I tried, couldn't get that to work at all. I got it all fixed and working editing the 'Decent Women' esp in the creation kit. Then I did the same thing with a few other mods that add new enemies into the game, like Warzones :) Quite tedious, but totally worth it. Thank you very much.

It looks really nice! Is this mod compatible with UFO (Ultimate Follower Overhaul)? I dont know if UFO changes animations or not. I'll check soon.

 

BTW what armour is being used in the picture where you see the legs of a woman walking in white futuristic looking armour, and the heels have 3 green circles on them? It looks AMAZING, especially with this mod!
