I have done all the developing and testing with exactly what the OP says, which means just wsex.esm, and then additional SI using mods like AoS or HtM. No animations, patches, etc.

Well I sure don't have any idea how to mod, but I can certainly load a lot of esps and esms and usually make them work using FOMM. After reading the post above and researching what MAC revised was I thought I'd give it a try.

 

I've been using SI and the most awesome wsex override for awhile with total functionality - also using HtM and AoS - everything working great.

 

I followed the directions on the Nexus MAC thread and downloaded all the requirements etc etc (just using the resource meshes/textures as suggested in the thread, not the esps as you'll see in my loadorder below).

 

My last game save was in Novac so I loaded my game after NVediting and BOSSing to make sure everything was functioning. Game loaded - walked out of the hotel in Novac and saw strippers in the courtyard. they're dancing and everything - all very posh! Well problems started of course. Some Novac settler tried to take advantage of one of the strippers (thank you SexoutBrutalRapers) except no animations started, they just stood there.

 

Then when I went to chat with one of them my game crashed. I've fiddled with the load order a few times, but to no avail, crashes everytime I try to chat.

I didn't do anything wild. I installed them both, and they just work.

 

I install all of my mods using FOMM, and use Wrye Flash to make a bashed patch.

Pride, if I disable SI-animations will it use SexOut ones? All I ever do when i talk no matter what position I say I want, it's always oral pleasure. I like the SexOut animations better anyway.

Dude, first rule from original post:

If you install this mod and SI according to the instructions, the only animations you'll get are the sexout ones. They will still be according to the SI 'rules' for whatever you're doing. If an SI mod 'hard coded' a particular encounter to oral, that's what you'll get.

3. Install the wsex mod(s) of your choice. Sexual Innuendo' date=' Humping the Mojave, etc., completely. Ensure that wsex.esp is loaded AFTER those mods.

Decided to check this plugin out, and immediately bumped into a problem with Deputy Beagle's sex option (Humping the Mojave): dialogue ends, but nothing happens except the PC gets stuck in place, unable to do anything.

Try again without the bashed patch, and again without the 'updates' to HtM, just the load order from the OP in the example load order. If that works, start adding/merging things one at a time until it breaks.

That's exactly what I tried and in that exact order. Yes' date=' with no Sexout addons - just 'Sexout.esm'.

Unfortunately, there are no mentions of which versions of SI/HtM your 'wsex.esp' is compatible with, so I installed the latest (which were around long before you made the override, so I assumed that's what you used as base).

That's... probably not gonna work for me. Only the latest version of HtM is said to feature STD toggle, and I've already got enough Hardcore needs to worry about.

Oh well.

 

I'll try again with some NPC that's been in SI from the earliest versions, later, just in case it's Beagle that's bugged in HtM itself.

I'm pretty sure the STDs won't work with this mod anyway. Can always try and see. If they do, I'll have to 'break' them, because the STD stuff should be left up to sexout (and some future STD mod) as well.

There are already STD's in SCR anyway so having both on would be a problem. The STD's are in the SCR MCM menu, basically just a slider that sets the chance of STD's being caught during sex, set to 0% by default. I haven't heard much feedback, so assume they are working ok, I don't think a lot of people play with STD's.

Right, they are one of the things I deleted from sexout in "the big delete" that broke everything. Don't really thing they belong in SCR either, but if they're there, then they're there.

Ah-ha! Success! Well, kinda.

Of the SI stuff, only installed the basic version of 'Wasteland Sex module version H', 'Animation plugin v003' and 'NPC Plugin v007' - no hotfixes. Had 'wsex.esp' (the override) merged into Bashed Patch. Tested on a random Hooker outside Gomorrah.

Of the Sexout stuff, had everything enabled from my load order I posted earlier.

Your (Prideslayer) wsex override even registered with SexoutLust 6.0 correctly for all the effects.

 

Now going to test if HtM v003 will work without SI hotfixes...

Good deal, keep us informed. You shouldn't need any of the updates/hotfixes/whatever. Whatever scripts and stuff they're fixing, chances are they are no longer used. This override replaces the scripts on the two tokens given out to start sex with SI, and then simply makes sexout calls instead. No other SI stuff is run at all.

 

Lust and everything else from sexout will work just fine -- that's the point of this mod.

 

Stuff in particular SI mods will NOT work though. If a mod is telling you you need to go bang 50 people, that will likely not work, because the wsex counters aren't updated, and so on.

Welp, Beagle gets no love with either v003 or v002 of HtM, and there are too few NPCs in v001 to bother with it - so HtM is out of the picture, I guess.

 

Interestingly enough, I installed the v007-2 hotfix on the SI (clean save, of course) and tested on the same Hooker - and it works.

 

So the SI hotfix isn't to blame, after all. Must be HtM doing something differently that 'wsex.esp' override doesn't account for.

Santr: Just a quick suggestion, but have tried disabling sexoutConsequences and the EX version, with the Deputy Beagle issue? The reason I ask is that both Consequences version do some similar things the HtM does, and one of them may have inadvertently messed with Beagle. I ran into an issue where soC original and EX conflicted with each other (EX position after original would cause an original rape dialog not to appear, original after EX worked fine). If you haven't tried that already give it a go and see.

Both of those are really old bugs from the early versions of the mod.. you're definitely using the latest one from the OP right, and not one you downloaded a long time ago? Sometimes people download the new one but forget to install it.
