I don't have much to offer on the technical side, but my penis and I heartily approve of the sounds you have posted thus far. No creep intended. :P

That being said, as Honest mentioned, the rape sounds need (imo) to sound a bit more rape-y. For in-game/common-usage purposes, it's probably best to stick somewhere between anger and crying. Think of the scenario - it hurts like hell both emotionally and physically, and you are being violated in one of the deepest ways possible.

That said, there could be use for the being-raped-and-starting-to-enjoy-it sounds too - in Sexout for instance, it is possible through certain mods to become addicted to sex, or to be enslaved and "broken", etc., where the mentality of the victim might twistedly shift toward enjoyment.

I would also probably - though this is really your call - try to stay away from using actual words much (i.e. your "oh no not there" in one of the clips), unless people actually want more words. Since these sounds will be applied broadly to many different sex/rape scenarios within the game, it's usually best to keep them as situationally neutral as possible, if that makes sense.

For the types of situations a player character might find herself in in New Vegas, consider the following:

1) Male/female consensual sex

2) Male/female rape

3) Female/female consensual sex

4) Female/female rape

5) Creature/female consensual sex

6) Creature/female rape*

7) Master/slave consensual sex

8) Master/slave coerced sex (still technically rape, but the voice here would probably be more "I'm not happy with this but whatever" or "just get it over with" than "oh god no please no", if you know what I mean)

9) Master/slave rape (the "oh god please no" kind)

10) Threesome sex/gangrape (most commonly male/female/male in-game, but other combinations are possible in the future)

Now, many of these would probably have remarkably similar if not identical sounds, but if you're wondering what kinds of sounds are needed for New Vegas at least, and/or how your sounds might be used, there you go.

* Creature rape is one of the most interesting/arousing ideas to me. Picture this: you are ambushed by a creature twice the size of a man, with foot-long talons and a jaw full of teeth fully capable of biting you in half. But you're not so lucky to get a quick death, as you look down and realize from its foot-and-a-half-long, throbbing cock that it's horny. No, you're not getting killed right away - you're getting reamed by this monster first.

Terror. Pain. Arousal?

Of course there are more common animals such as dogs and such too, so not every animal rape would necessarily be AS horrifying as all that, but still.

But yeah, my two pence. Hope I haven't said anything too off-putting or creepy, just offering my honest thoughts.

quickedit: And I just realized this was in the LPK area, not the New Vegas/Sexout area, and here I've been going on about Sexout. Sorry. I think most of the principles would apply to Oblivion as well though. >_>

Keep in mind please' date=' these are very fake and done with the old mic.

New Teasers with New Mic! Instead of doing a ReadMe I have been doing AudioMe.

If you don't listen to it I'll know.

Download: Rape Tests/Happy Girl/Rowdy Moans

Wow, very promising work! Looking forward to having your voice in LoversPK-Oblivion. :)

Not sure how the sound resource in New Vegas works but in Lovers, as I'm sure you know, their are the five stages in draws from for sounds... 1: start/slow-speed, 2: middle/medium-speed, 3: ending/fast-speed, 4: the finish/orgasm and 5: after-sex (stage 5 is the most empty in my data folder). The only advice I can think of would be to keep those in mind when making your different voice groups... otherwise, very good teaser stuff. Thanks.

From what I understand of the sexout sound scheme, it just randomly picks from the pool of all related sounds for the duration. Looking at it though, it probably wouldn't be that hard to alter the scripts to progress in a similar way.

Hmm I wasn't aware of that' date=' right now the game is acing like the WAVs don't even exist and I am working on with with someone else who works very long hours.

Still, this is not the only thing going on irl for me so working on three games and two mods while doing nearly 100 sounds now isn't easy.

I appreciate the patience. Got to get back to the other side /sigh.

Oblivion is rather persnickety when it comes to audio files.

WAV format that I know work:

Bit rate - 705kbps

Audio sample size - 16 bit

Channels - 1 (mono)

Audio sample rate 44 kHz

Audio format - PCM

MP3 format that also works:

Bit rate - 64bps

Channels - 1 (mono)

Audio sample rate - 48kHz

I think the most important (for Oblivion at least) is it must be mono and not stereo, and bit rate. As far as the other stats, there may be others that work too. Just a note, Audacity can output WAV files.

@Evilrunner - True, there would be loss going from MP3 to WAV, but how much would even be noticed in-game?

Hmm, Is there someone in the forums here and has the technical expertise to make the necessary format changes to any .wav or .mp3 files that Foggy makes? This way she could concentrate on making the sound files, and then someone else could do the technical bit for her, thus getting the project up and running.

When this is done it will be done. Converting is easy and you are right, We've tried three different types of conversions so far with different bit rates and the game just doesn't seem to notice them.

As for the newer, more realistic sounds I had to stop for an evening, I lost my voice. I am not just sitting on this, we are doing something. I just don't want this to feel rushed, I don't want to hate this idea before it's finished and.... it's being a pain in the backside to be honest!

As for the suggestions: Wow. I mean WOW. You guys have some extremely vivid and sick imaginations. I fully intend on living up to those. I won't be able to make everyone happy and right now, this whole wav/bit rate thing is pissing me off. Nothing about you guys, it's the game sticking it's tongue out at me. I am trying also to record them directly into WAVs as well, so that nothing in the audio is lost. I'm not kidding when I say it's very picky about actually just playing the dang files then the girls are violated.

No idea if this is any help: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Sound

Not sure why CS would be rejecting your files.

Thank you seriously, I just found out I have the beginning of a temperature lol Explains why I lost my voice so easily. This is a huge help and I don't mean to sound rude; I'm trying to be blunt about finished times. If someone has a working finished WAV send it to me through a PM and I can go from there.

Thank you *so* much for the link Evilrunner:blush:

Why not just use the sets supplied by LoversResource.7z? Labeled ns1-ns7 are the originals, folders are located here if you have it installed: C:\Games\Oblivion\Data\Sound\fx\lovers.

In-game you could simply select one voice using the Lovers functionality, say ns0 or ns1, and then rename your files to match what is in that folder and overwrite them with yours. This way you don't have to mess with CS and audio configuration just yet, and just focus on making sure they will work in game with your selected audio file format.

Oblivion audio is well, crap and one of the strongly suggested optimizations for Oblivion is a separate sound card, due to the archaic way the designers/developers setup audio for Oblivion. Not suggesting you or anyone else here go out and buy a audio card just for Oblivion, just mentioning it is all.

A little humor, in an attempt to make you feel better:

"it's the game sticking it's tongue out at me"

Brilliant!! I dunno if this will work but I'll give it a shot later. I am texting this right now and thanks for the picture lol. I have the worst luck. I would get sick now. I might have GrinningDog look at it. If this works I'll be able to actually find out what went wrong. Loogie & I have been trying out several types of bit rates. Its irritating though I am hoping Sexout will be kinder which would be ironic . Time for meds: (

Actually lovers does not care what the file name is... it looks for acceptable file-types in the correct folders and then draws a file randomly from that folder to play... for example it goes to "Oblivion/Data/Sound/Fx/Lovers/Ns9/normal/1" to play the starter, slow speed wave files for any female npc you set with voice 9.

Oblivion/Data/Sound/Fx/Lovers/Ns9(this is the voice group can be 0 to 9, 0 is default)/normal(this can be normal or rape)/1(this is the speed cab be 1-to-5)

Sorry for the double posting but good news... not sure if its still an issue but I converted your teaser Happy Girl MP3s in iTunes to .wav and got them working in Oblivion. If you need some help converting them I can assist, alternatively I can PM you instructions... its pretty simple actually, would just be time consuming.

Anyway thanks again for the effort and hope you feel better.

No offense The "04 rape test" sound has a certain infeasibility to it, not exaggerated but not quite realistic.. almost like a dubbed cartoon, doesn't fit in with the other very awesome and very realistic sounding voices.

I offered this criticism because I really want to see this project be furthered to completion, I'll be the first one to admit that i may have touched myself unwillingly... the sounds are really too fucking hot and are EXACTLY along the lines of what i've been hoping for.

Someone, the conversions.. please do it up for god's sake.

Oh and btw, thankyou, this sort of things takes a lot of bravery and loyalty.

Clearly you missed the point of my post.

From the link provided by Evilrunner (To CS topic Sound):

  • Although you may select any file from the open dialog, only wave files are valid.
  • The selected WAV file must be saved in Mono format unless the 2D box is checked below.
  • You may select a directory instead of a single file. In this case a random file within that directory will be played; files in sub-directories will be ignored.

The whole point of my post was to use an existing, known to work structure for her to work from. By renaming her files to what was used in those folders, it eliminates the possibility that those files were being called explicitly, bullet items 1 & 2 above. Also elimniates, for now the need to go into CS.

So going into CS and reviewing how sounds are being implemented in the Lovers with PK.esp file, it is clear that the alternate folder method is being used (as you have pointed out in your post) and a specific sub folder is being pointed to, bullet item 3 above. See attached screen capture.

Granted my suggestion to FoggyZ' to rename her files using the previously used numbered file names may have been overkill, it is just a simple matter of maintaining consistency, and it is what others have done when creating new voice packs for Oblivion. Simple logic to follow the path that others have blazed before us, and a 'coding' best practice as well. I prefer Order versus Chaos...

No matter, I'll just rename them when she is done, to match the number file names already in use.

Thank you thank you thank you!

My current set is from the Kim Kardashian sex tape and I'm so tired of hearing her fake moaning.

I'll be happy to replace them later!

OK I am still working on this. :@

Right now I have gone through the CS I have gone through five different bit rates, three different wav files and I've almost tossed my monitor out the window.

There is almost nothing I can find to help me with this. This is happening though. Again, if you have taken any of my files and made them work in your game PLEASE send me a copy of your audio file through a PM so I can dissect it.

I can't tell you guys how sorry I am this is taking so long, THIS IS HAPPENING THOUGH. :@

14y3ime.jpg

Wiki can eat it as far as I care, all the info is two years old anyways.

Gonna hop back in game now, another file has been converted to a separate bit rate. I think if it wasn't for my Pogo music and Loogie & GrinningDog's encouragement I would have gone mad by now.

Side note as I usually always have one at the end of all my comments...

I have a totally new found respect for any modder that has succefully finished anything in this CS. This is the first thing I have ever done this and I seemed to have picked the hardest thing possible. Now I know why not many people do this. I really respect you guys, seriously; more then I did. Back to it....:(

This is the first time I've attempted this, so if I've done something daft that precludes this from actually working in practise, I apologise :)

I took one of the MP3 files from the teaser pack, loaded it into audacity, converted to mono and exported as WAV. No other actions taken.

In CS I added a new sound linked to this wav file, and added a script to an armour piece, begin onequip; playsound testSound.

On equipping the armour, the sound played without issue.

I also tried a wav in stereo format (mp3 converted straight to wav, no other editing) and checked the 2d sound in CS, that also worked. I can PM you the wav files if you want to have a look at them, but I've not done anything special to them.

Waiting on conformation from someone but I may have a way to do this that never relies on the CS and conversion will take literally seconds.

When it's confirmed and I know how to do this, project is going to be moved to Downloads thread with fully usable files.

Super excited about this but fever is bad. New files will be made shortly after this goes away. I'm very tired of feeling like this lol

Because this method is so extremely easy; and it makes me want to pull my hair out it's so simple but because of how easy and fast this will hopefully be I'll be replacing the sloppy mayo jar sound/BJs and a couple of others while trying to work on pitch changes for separate races. I will be doing this will Vanilla races in mind but obviously they will be able to be used by anyone for... anyone! We will be adding male voices as well. I'm very very warm right now and want to lay down.

First, I admire You. I wouldn't have the Courage to let My Voice for such Things all over the Net. ^^

Second, I'd like to test the Teasers, but somehow MediaFire won't let Me download the Teaser Pack. =/

Great job! The sounds are very convincing!

Oooh my goodness my name is green lol I just woke up to check and see what the problem was with mediafire what a surprise!!

I'll just put the damn things on the front page for now. Sorry about that.

Later on when I am not feeling so dizzy I am going to plop a video together showing that yes it does work and yes it's extremely trippy hearing my voice in the game but I don't feel they... look right. This will be up for debate as this might just be a result of me hearing me in the game and thinking it sounds weird though.

My name is green I'm in the cool kids club but now that means I will mod more then play T_T

The teaser things are up on the main page, I'm going to go ahead with the video because it's been dragged out long enough.

Again thank you for the kind words and encouragement. Especially Loogie.

Thanks a ton for this.. going to see about shoehorning them into the FONV directory structure for Sexout.

Thanks to you for the effort and to Loogie for directing me here.

And welcome to the green-name-club. Someone will need to show you the 'handshake'.

Thanks for adding a 2nd Way to access the Teasers.

And well, Contributors deserve having a green Name. ^^

(I just recognized that My PostCount dropped by like 50 Posts. And My Sig vanished. ô.O' )

Anyways, I'll go hear'em later after I finish My ME:3 Round with My Wife. ^^
