After going through a lot of personal turmoil among other things outside of LL and with recent issues popping up; I'm topping this completely. I don't want to get into all of the details, I don't want to start some weird internet war but I cannot continue this project. The reasons are not only extremely personal but also I have had to do a lot of thinking about certain things in my life, leading me away from such activities.

 

Recently my trust was betrayed in numerous ways and because of this, I cannot return to Lovers Lab and I apologize to anyone who was still waiting to see this finished or even picked up again.

 

All attachments have been deleted and nothing of mine used in any further mods. Period.

I will not give permission.

None of the mediafire links will work either.

Again, I'm really sorry to the people who appreciated and encouraged me through this but I cannot return to LL.

 

I'd appreciate it if anything having to do with me was completely removed from any mods as well. Thank you. It's been a wild ride to say the least and I have met some extremely incredible people that have helped me to realize some of my interests were not only shared but accepted. To these people I wish you the best of luck and warn you to choose your friends wisely, as I did not.

I am always lurking around and asking poor Greg a billion silly questions. I see people asking for voices and such a lot and sometimes I want something new too. I am getting a new mic/headset soon and I suddenly thought to myself (it's 8am on a Saturday for me' date=' I have not been asleep for a day!) what if I made some voice files?

 

I am not very bright with these things so I am unsure about certain aspects. How long should clips be? Does the file type matter? Would people even [i']want[/i] to hear my voice in a rape scenario? Someone earlier asked for vampire voices, I don't know what a vampire actually sounds like!

 

For as long as I can remember, I want to do voices. Not just sexually, I just love doing voices. And I think this would be an easy way for me to add to the community without causing Greg or anyone else further headaches. I am having my roomy read this as I type, I don't have a good memory. I have probably said that a few times now too, sorry. To be honest, this is making me somewhat nervous.

 

Sorry for all the text, I am nervous. If this is to be accomplished though I need to know the answers to the previous questions. Also, where could you host something like that? I have a site but it is for my YouTube channel and (no offense) I don't want the two linked, it's also linked with my FaceBook which would be BAD! lol:blush:

I for one would definitely welcome more voices and voice packs, for Oblivion females and males.

 

Creating audio files though IMO needs to be planned, especially since it requires multiple voice recordings, and as Loogie pointed out in a specific format and of a certain duration or time length.

 

You are already on your way though, since the first step is a headset and mic. The quality of your mic though will have the most direct impact or affect the quality of the output audio files you create. I have found omnidirectional mics work best and some of the newer LogiTech headsets are decent, but again it depends on your recording environment.

 

There are also quite a few free and low cost audio and multimedia programs available for Windows, Mac and Linux, more free on Linux then Windows. It ranges from the simple, what audio hobbyists may use to very complex and sophisticated, something an audio engineer would use.

 

I'd say experiment and see what you come up with, I'm sure many here would love to test and try them out.

Nothing to be anxious about - it's always great to see a person willing to contribute. I'm not sure what to do for regular voice files' date=' but for Lovers sex sounds the clips need to be about 2-5 seconds long max (or they overlap with the next sound) and need to be in .wav format. As for hosting them, you can put them in a zip file and if that zip file is under 25mb, you can attach it to a forum post. If it's larger, you can upload to www.mediafire.com

 

As for if anyone wants to hear you, that's nothing to worry about. So long as you sound convincing, people will like it. Also, the Sexout project - similar to Lovers but for Fallout New Vegas - has been wanting to add options for sex voice packs, but we can't find any not sourced from copyrighted material. It would be great if you'd be willing to share with us, too!

Thank you a ton for all the info, I think I am interested in this enough to give it a shot when I get my new stuff. If it helps people in another game, I really don't mind at all as long as credit is given and all that. I don't play Fallout (don't shoot!) I know my room mate does and he loves it, it might be funny to add my voice to his game without him knowing. If I can I will try to keep these files small but to be honest, I usually go over board with stuff lol

As far as environment and all that, it's not going to be anything awesome. I'm poor and that isn't going to change over night lol. It's just going to be me making funny noises into a mic with some help from my roomy (I'm sure I can get him to help lol Might have to twist his arm XD) and hopefully editing won't be a big deal. I have Windows 7 and I am not computer savvy in the least. My memory is a bunch of notes in a ton of note books and stuff on my phone and my room mate poking me and reminding me irl. I'm thinking I will just look for something on the Download site and go from there. I might put up a few files to see what people think of things first. I'm more nervous about the 'normal' files then the rape ones as weird as that sounds.

Ok I think my Mic/Headset is in the works now so I wanted to ask one more thing. When I am ready to upload, should I make a new thread somewhere else? If people want to use my voices for Fallout 3 I want to make sure other people can use them as they want, with credits and all the normal stuff. I don't want to bother people about it either and if making a new thread is unnecessary I wanted to know now before it gets underway if that's alright.

I dunno what the difference is between the two but it's koo (why are my eye's still open...) I think a test would be the best way to go you are smart and your picture is hot. I'd add that some of us are very keen on western sounding voices. There are more than enough squeaky school-girl-like audio clips available. (grin).

Ok I have 12 files here of me saying test lol I want to get some feedback of which ones people think sound the best for right now, keep in mind please this is with a standard mic and not my new one which hopefully will be coming tomorrow. I want to pop these in here though and see if people even like what they hear, I have no self confidence so I am not expecting people to want to hear this (I just gestured to all of me; sorry How to Train Your Dragon reference lol) so I thought I would try this first.

In 08 you sound like someone who does voice over work. I also think 08 and 11 sounded the clearest.

 

Your voice is great and you sound confident even if you don't feel it. Now I want to contrive some audio log or other such for the sole purpose of begging you to perform it. Also if I ever figure out how to actually make characters talk I have an opening for the role of a slave mistress.

 

I think 11 is going to be the best for settings, I hope this new mic does better and thank you for the kind words. I have always wanted to do voice acting but well it seems complicated for some reason. ONe of those things people go to school for that doesn't make sense to me to go to school for (are there clown colleges? I'm being serious lol Nvm I answered my own question >_< http://nationalclownweek.org ) I think I will stick with the settings in 11 though if more people feel the same way. And I think I was breathing into the mic a bit more then I originally noticed.

Right now I have two guys in my apartment, they would love for me to start recording this I am sure but I wouldn't be able to to be bluntly honest lol

 

I think tomorrow when it's more private, I will give this an honest shot. I had some other files awhile back I got on here. There was one that was an english dub of whatever hentai and I used it because in the rape folder I added lines like, "Oh no not there!" "Don't cum inside!" Stuff like that for the rape scenes. I can't honestly answer you on how long the files were but time is a lot slower then we think most of the ... time... So I am sure I could make these smaller. I think the longest time I am seeing in my sound files is 4 seconds. I'll add a couple of files so you see what I am talking about. These are not my voice, I am working towards putting out far better quality to hopefully add a more 'live' feeling. Live as in it's happening to your character right now not live as in the opposite of death...

 

The thing I can't stand is when I look for new sounds, the rape and normal often sound the same to me. When a girl is supposed to sound as though she is being violated; she sounds satisfied. Like, "Ahhh refreshing!". I know this is largely due to the fact that we have a lot of limits, especially with copy writes and such. I am going to aim to produce an actual normal and rape sound that are far different from one another.

 

I think what I am going to do for the Normal is just pop a bandanna on over my eyes and sit on a toy and randomly record sounds through the session - no joke. I'm not sure about the Rape though, I don't want it to sound forced ::TROLLFACE:: j/k j/k I couldn't help it but really, I don't want it to come off as goofy and fake.

Now for the weird comment, as far as the no joke line do you think that would be too much even for this site? I don't want to get anyone (myself included!) into trouble. I'm not trying to make porn (or am I...?) but to make the most realistic sound add-on possible. I'm thinking of trying out at least three different levels, ranging from a higher pitched voice and going down. But would my suggestion with the toy and the wa-hail be too much? I'm not offering up images of any sort, that isn't the point. I want to make that clear to anyone else reading this.

Ok, that thought kind of freaked me out because I really do adore this site. Voices are about the best I can offer and I was surprised to see when I searched, no one else has done this. If I can convince him, I'd like to have my roomy help as well. I think male voices are lacking. No offense to people contributing; I know about the constrictions you guys have faced with things. I was a bit worried when I noticed that people have downloaded the files but you are the only one yet to actually comment. I hope they don't think I'm just offering up porn. That costs extra. Any file that gets put up will have a dozen downloads. I've put up files clearly labelled as containing nothing of use to anyone except a particular recipient, and it still gets 20 downloads

 

I did have a listen, but I'm not really one to notice much different in these sorts of things.

I think I am going to try a range of sounds, from higher pitched voices and downwards. Maybe try three different pitches. I know some people have different tastes so if I can make higher pitched voices and lower more sultry ones (I sounds so conceded, sorry I dunno how else to describe it) then I think it will find a wider range in audiences.
